  1. You cant post them using Royal Mail so they are are stuck with a courier http://www.royalmail.com/sites/default/files/Royal-Mail-Prohibited-and-Restricted-Items.pdf
  2. I know how you feel , I took my invidia system off and refitted the stock system and cats before trading it , had forgotten how quiet they are
  3. Fitting instructions here , have a read and see if its something you are comfortable tackling h-dev plenum spacer.pdf
  4. Well its easy for me to say as I've only owned post 2012 ones but i was caught by the issue with my 350 HR , ended up taking a big hit when I sold it as I was honest about it but I had been quoted £2k to replace them ! As its now around £800 all in (and you can combine it with a p1 service) its cheaper than a clutch replacement, it will most likely effect all the pre 2012 cars at some point. Its just poor quality gaskets So it wouldnt put me off no , but I would pay accordingly and I would budget to get it done for piece of mind Interesting point about owners covering up oil use , could be true of course but the HR 350's dont have an appetite for oil either nor do GTR's and both are similar engines
  5. Oh, not looked at the numbers on them, but assumed there would be loads under 6 secs by now, it's 15 years since an EP3 Civic could do it in 6.5. Guess they've been getting a lot more bloated. They must all have a shed load of torque down low with their miniature blown engines tho, so might not be that quick off a line but imagine they would be pretty rapid in gear / out of a roundabout etc. I'm not sure my 350 could do it in 6 either tho, have to be quite patient with the gearbox... This is all chat on a forum where people mod their cars tho, I would imagine adding power is a whole lot easier (tho not that cheap) than fixing handling, the cars balance or removing weight without sacrificing something. 0-60 is hard to get right , I lost count of the number of EP3's I out dragged in my old diesel Merc
  6. Lots of people use a DA to apply waxes and LSP's, I dont myself but there are many that do

  9. Plenty of unbranded spacers are perfectly fine, some arent http://www.gtr.co.uk/forum/167822-warning-aluminium-wheel-spacers.html
  10. The early cars do have the same oil gallery gaskets as the late model 350z HR's though , not heard of oil burning though, neither of mine use any oil .
  11. They will fit but I personally stick to the TUV certified brands , its all that hold your wheels on at the end of the day
  12. Yes i agree, forgetting about power for a moment i think the 86 is a nicer drive. The 370 is a clumsy beast in comparison, but theres no doubt that the zed is the better looking. Hard to forget about the power when you get diesel 4x4's overtaking you
  13. I thought the 370 had a shorter wheelbase than the 350
  14. Its really hard to get a decent enough surface to allow the rings to bed in correctly using one of those tools
  15. Honed using one of those tools that attach to an electric drill ? Do a compression and leakdown test
  16. Was the block honed by an engineering shop or at home ?
  17. So you say the pistons werent replaced , was the block re-honed and new rings fitted ?
  18. Wasnt an issue on mine as i have a lot of options They pretty much all told me that they wouldn't be able to apply the carwow discount if I changed it from the original carwow spec (which i did, as their configurator wasn't particulalry acurate) I did better than the carwow discount but i actually went and visited the dealer when doing the deal , i used Carwow to sort those dealers who were willing to discount from those that werent , an introduction really
  19. Wasnt an issue on mine as i have a lot of options

  21. I spend about £12k per year normally , sometimes more sometimes a little less

  23. You can still return it if its gash under consumer law
