  1. Energy suspension will likely be the issue, I had trouble with those on my Evo
  2. If you wire it to the battery it will be on all the time , you need to wire to a ignition live or use a power magic pro which needs and ignition and a perm live
  3. Statistical anomaly i reckon . Not enough on the road covering too few miles to give accurate comparable data
  4. Fuchs Titan 5w40 is what H-Dev recommend for FI zeds http://www.opieoils.co.uk/p-68897-fuchs-titan-race-pro-s-5w-40-ester-fully-synthetic-engine-oil.aspx
  5. £280 plus a power magic pro and install will run to about £450 as RB said I've just put a DR650 single channel in my Jag apart from wi-fi its pretty much the same as earlier models The blackvues have great software and gps but the quality is about the same as the humble G1W
  6. Since you have no plans to claim i personally wouldn't worry about it and would keep the policy going for the month
  7. I wouldnt use either its not the 1970's much better options around nowadays
  8. I wired off the back of the 12 v socket by the glovebox , its neat and I never really used that socket anyhow , normally use the one in the console
  9. Always best to put it on a ramp and check but drop links commonly fail on zeds of all flavours
  10. Something like this ? http://www.vehicle-wiring-products.eu/product.php/171/battery-fixing-clamp
  11. a bit of noise and vibration from the dmf is not uncommon and pretty much a feature ime

    Car throttle

I saw off one of those i8's just before i sold Reggie , quick things
  13. Its down to the prep really , the places the cheap paint came off in my garage the epoxy came off also , hot sticky tyres lifted it in my case so i was left with 4 patches in no time , thats why i went back to tiles , they are far from a perfect solution as well
  14. I've just ordered a Blackvue 650 for my Jag , I have a G1w in my daily but the software with the Blackvue really makes them a cut above imo and they are so much more discreet than the ones with screens
  15. Mmmm complains that people spend lots of money and dont make their cars faster then wraps his car in orange and puts a ridiculous wing on the back
  16. fairly liquid and water , brush to a foam and use a wet vac to extract the water , you wll probably need to do it a few times
  17. I had carpet tiles at one point , they do soak up the damp and can go mouldy , everything sticks to them and they can even make the garage smell funky Why not for now just paint the floor with floor paint, screwfix do some stuff cheap enough and if you do go tile or carpet having it painted will make laying them easier
  18. Been there , done that ! . put around 8k into my Evo 6 in less than 3 years
  19. Should be 1 bar/ 14 psi at idle but the onboard gauges and sensors cant be relied upon 100%
  20. where would i get a gauge from that fits .and does yours idle as low as mine I've never owned a DE but seen one or two . You can get them on ebay http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/MECHANICS-MECHANICAL-REMOTE-MASTER-ENGINE-OIL-PRESSURE-GAUGE-TESTING-KIT-WR-/122122671367?hash=item1c6f141507:m:mOf-43SW0dGtHIgdq7Dzk0A
  21. if you are worried put a independent gauge on it but thats looks pretty normal to me and i wouldnt worry about it
  22. The later ones have a 8 speed so are a little better on fuel apparently
  23. I had a Blackvue in the 370 which i didnt bother removing but have a G1W in my daily and thats fine also and costs peanuts in comparison like £40 all in http://www.ebay.co.u...ZgAAOSwZJlXNaAd Hopefull if he doesnt contest you would lose out too much
  24. I can say for sure that for me my 5.0 supercharged Jag is better on fuel than my 370z was , I would average 22-24mpg out of Reggie the Supercharged one and 24-26mpg out of the n/a one , 330-350 miles before the light comes on, its a big tank on the zed The Jag is doing 25mpg on average. Dont trust the on board display and certainly dont trust the range estimator , mine went from 45mile range to 0 in less than 20 miles
