I'm going to them next week for an Up-Rev and a massive load of service type items (change brake fluid/clutch fluid/gearbox oil etc). Hopefully all will go great as they have a good reputation and have worked on a lot of forum members Zeds. Will let you know.

Don't know any "Zed specialists" around our area tbh unfortunately. The garage I mentioned have worked on my Zed before and the owner Lee is a trustworthy guy imo.They are the only place locally which I tend to use (trust) but for the more specialized things I'm going to be using Horsham Developments who come highly recommended and are only about an hour or so drive for us from the Cardiff area. http://h-dev.co.uk/index2.php?page=home They're a registered trader on here too so you can always shoot them a PM to price up any work you want done etc or just give them a call.

Welcome aboard. You could try a PM on here to a trader called Alex who may be able to help you out with a good condition used unit for a lot less if he has one. I live in Cardiff and a local independent garage that I use which I'd recommend is PantBach Auto Centre. Tel: 02920619209. They are based on Pantbach Road, Rhiwbina, Cardiff, CF14 1TW and should be able to fit the bush or banana arm for a lot cheaper than the dealers ever could. Hope that helps.

+1. I used WD40 on an old car before when I had the same problem and that worked. Sometimes it's just the tumbler inside clogged up with dirt & dust.

Who cares what they think as long as you're happy. I had the same thing once at an old job when I bought a JDM Impreza WRX ~ they started slating my car and calling it Jap crap etc. Then one of them turns up in an old Alfa Romeo with some fake carbon fibre and they're all like "nice car mate" Jealous I think. I think it's an awesome looking car and I for one would love to own one. Enjoy it.

The easiest way to clear the EML is to do what's called the pedal dance (ECU reset) Paz216. Won't clear the light forever but you can easily clear the light each time it comes on. You can find out how to do it here; http://www.350z-uk.c...e-valve-resets/ Can be a bit awkward to get right as timing is critical but it does work.

If your in no hurry it's best to wait to get the best one you can find for your hard earned cash with all the bit's your after for sure. Atleast you'll be happy with it then afterwards rather than wishing you had waited.

Hi Disco ~ not sure on your screen wash problem but to get to the reversing light bulb there are two ways. The hard way is to remove the rear bumper but the easier way is to remove your left rear light (pop off the three plastic bolt covers & remove the three 10mm bolts/then lift up the light unit) and you should be able to reach down to the bulb housing & twist it out. It is a bit awkward but much less hassle than removing the entire rear bumper just to change a bulb. If you are still unsure have a read through this thread; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/10841-how-to-install-silver-indicators-in-tail-lights/ It's for changing the rear indicators but it's the same for getting at the reverse bulb & fog light bulb. Hope that helps.

This is a great forum for Zed based info and tbh it's probably the best & friendliest forum I've ever been a part of. Hope you find it useful too.

This guy really get's on my nerves!! A young (20 something) local guy near where I live purchased a 2009 black Mercedes 180C Kompressor last year sometime. One Sunday me & my Mrs where off out in my then car, a Civic Type R when this guy comes roaring up behind me in a 30mph zone (I was doing 30-35ish). He tail gates us for a second then goes for a dangerous overtake up a hill on an almost blind bend. Me and the Mrs comment to each other ~ basically what a wa**er but I do nothing. No beeping the horn or flashing the lights etc as tbh I hate that sort of thing anyway so wouldn't want to be a hypocrite. Anyway tonight I'm on my way home in the Zed after dropping my Mrs off at her parents ~ there is a long hill going up towards where I live so I'm cruising up it in the Zed which is just eating up the road in front of it no problem when I spot in my rear view mirror a set of lights from a car trying to catch up around the tight bends. When the hill finally levels out I'm cruising along at just above the posted limit when this prat come's racing up behind me & sits on my rear bumper ~ guess who? it's the same idiot in his Merc with his gormless mate along for the ride. Tbh I felt like stopping my car and getting out to tell him to f**k off tailgating me as I'm not going to race him around a built up area in his sh**ty 140 something bhp Merc. Really hoping I see this pr*ck crashed in a ditch one day so I can just laugh & point at him. Rant over.
