  1. Gear changes can be a bit "knotchy" at times especially when cold but changing the gearbox oil & adding some Molyslip could sort that out. http://www.h-dev.co.uk/product_info.php?cPath=78_169_293_1418&products_id=25501 I believe Michelin Pilot Super Sports are widely regarded as the best tyres to put on a Zed and a trader on here called Funky Tyres did have these at a great price for forum members. If you still want Bridgestones though it's always worth a PM to them for a quote just to see the price difference between them and your local tyre supplier. http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/211-funky-tyres-ltd/ As for the clutch, well it could be as I mentioned above that a gearbox oil change with Molyslip too will help improve the gear changes & your clutch is fine. Mine is still on it's original clutch at 89K miles odd. Another member I was speaking to recently has his original clutch still at over 100K! If you don't know when the clutch fluid was last changed though this would be worth doing and maybe worth considering a braided clutch line too at the same time. Servicing schedule can be found here; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/ Things need changing/replacing depending on years gone by or mileage covered (whichever comes first). Hope that helps.
  2. Welcome aboard BenSRG. Not sure if ddcboyle sold his Gun Metal Zed but that was up for £7K; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/79090-gun-metal-54-nissan-350z-gt-7000/ Take a look through the "Zeds For Sale" section here; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/ Good luck with the search.
  3. I've just applied rainex to my windows today - look forward to how well it works. But agree, I prefer keeping my rear wiper too I've applied "GTechniq G1 clear vision smart glass" to all my windows and it works great which is a similar principle to the Rainex. From what I hear that Rainex is pretty good value for money & works well. Good to know I'm not alone in keeping my rear wiper.
  4. Player!! Funny you should say that ~ my mate in work always winds me up when I'm chatting to the ladies in work by singing smooth operator.
  5. Good quality video suits but honestly I could hardly hear anything and my lap top has pretty good speakers too.
  6. ^^ Love it GT Driver ~ "the grumpy selfie" Might have to try that next time I'm pi**ed off in traffic.
  7. Cheers mate. Was hoping not to go down the polished route this time but looks like i will be spending a few hours polishing the plenum when it warms up a bit. That'll be in June then.
  8. Nice sunset orange one for sale here at £7500 or near offer; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/81311-flyboys-sunset-04-uk-gt-for-sale-pics-inc/ Check out the "Zeds For Sale" here; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/ Good luck with the search and just fyi the "grey ones" are Gun Metal. Best colour imo but I am biased.
  9. Sounds good lmc ~ pity you couldn't get the carbon fibre intake but the Takeda one should look awesome anyway.
  10. Have to say Squee you are gorgeous. (not hitting on you btw, just saying) *waiting for grundy now to give me grief for commenting on another lovely lady*
  11. Any pics andy james? Especially of the brake kit.
  12. It's the road behind Tongwynlais, past "Castell Coch" leading up to near Caerphilly mountain. It's called Heol-Y-Fforest. hmm - haven't been up that road (gone past it loads) - looks worth a visit It's great at night when it's quite ~ like a WRC rally stage through the woods.
  13. Actually 10. GM Posting on any women related image. 10. should be pictures & memes. Followed by 11. posting comments on any good looking women.
  14. Welcome aboard Toby. There is a trader on here called Alex who should be able to help should you want pre-owned good condition working Zed parts. I got a pre-owned coil pack from him myself for under £40 delivered which sorted out a misfire on my Zed. The drivers seat not working could just be the connections needing a clean or you could need a new switch unit as mine did when it stopped working correctly. Touch up pens can be bought cheaply enough from a Nissan Dealership ~ you will get the correct colour that way & it includes a lacquer touch up as well (just tell them your VIN number). A wheel refurb will set you back probably £250-£400 for all four depending on colour and how curbed/damaged the wheels are. It's £300 locally to me for my 18" Rays in Chrome silver colour to be done (haven't had time yet though to get it done). Information here about servicing; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/ http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/58-servicing/ Cheap/good tyre supplier here; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/211-funky-tyres-ltd/ Zmanalex here; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/137-zmanalex/ Hope you enjoy your new motor.
  15. To be fair it was this one though wasn't it?!....
  16. Don't worry bud, I won't be removing mine any time soon Did it on my golf, and as much as it looks nice, it's such a pain when you haven't washed it in a while Good show. It does look good as SuperStu's excellent photoshop skills show but I just like having it there for when I need it. Anyway who knows in years to come maybe our Zeds with the rear wipers still attached will be rarer and demand a premium if we sell up.
  17. Much better marzman. Had the same thing with an old Subaru I bought and removing the tints made it look so much better and less gangsta.
  18. ^^ But how will I see out of the back window when it's raining?! Just recently replaced the rear wiper blade with a Bosch Aero blade too so it does look better. It's staying sorry.
