  1. Thought I'd post up a couple of my96 JDM Subaru Impreza WRX that I used to own.
  2. Thanks Jay. Built a lot of models over the years. This Testors V8 small block is one of my favourites; And also my Subaru Impreza WRX Sti complete with full roll cage & race spec. The red car is an Airfix kit of a Mustang which doesn't have the quality of a Tamiya kit but still came out ok.
  3. Don't blame me, it's all Downhuman's fault. All of it. ^^ Because of you last time I washed my car I ended up doing half with one product & half with another just to see the difference. Now tell me that's not your fault. Ah, but I only started doing that myself because of the vast array of Waxybox samples I have accrued. Downhuman introduced me to Waxybox, so technically... Definitely his fault then by that logic.
  4. Not a 350Z but for that you need the Tamiya "old school" 300ZX; http://www.ebay.co.u...=item589275b2de My two below.
  5. This is the kit I made; http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Tamiya-1-24-Nissan-350Z-Tracks-Performance-edtn-24254-/331073699020?pt=UK_ToysGames_ModelKits_ModelKits_JN&hash=item4d1587bccc Tamiya as you probably know make very good quality kits. As with lot's of these 1/24th scale kit's though there is no engine & the bonnet doesn't open but still makes for a satisfying looking model once built. I did mine in light Gun Metal to try and replicate my real 350Z ~ it's a pretty close match although the kit doesn't have Rays alloys but still close enough.
  6. Stop it Humpy - it's already on my mind
  7. Don't blame me, it's all Downhuman's fault. All of it. ^^ Because of you last time I washed my car I ended up doing half with one product & half with another just to see the difference. Now tell me that's not your fault.
  8. ^^ Exhaust sounds lovely though again btw.
  9. ^^ Sounds really nice. Show your girlfriend this video below though.
  10. Happens quite often unfortunately. Take's the pi** I know. Good luck with the rest of your car hunting.
  11. Welcome aboard. Lovely pictures above as Will mentioned ~ where are you located btw?
  12. ^^ Seen some crazy prices for things on eBay before. Check this out; http://www.ebay.com/itm/Wedge-Base-T10-LED-Car-Replacement-Bulbs-Interior-Dome-License-194-168-921-Red-/200801837003?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&hash=item2ec0b8dfcb&vxp=mtr
  13. Should really have added mine in here awhile ago but better late than never.
  14. You've probably already looked through this but if you haven't here's the link for Gun Metal Zeds; http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/36073-show-off-your-gunmetal-350z/ Might get lucky and find one in there with the mods on you're interested in adding.
  15. You've got me all wrong Chromatic. I don't spend money on tyre shine but detailing I'm into big time thanks to some of the members on here (ilogikal1, downhuman & EvoStu just to name a few). I wash my car every week (jet wash, snow foam, jet wash, Megs Gold shampoo ~ two bucket method, jet wash, dry towel) and wax it every two weeks. Then I do a full Megs three stage detail every month or so. It's always hoovered to within an inch of it's life and my car is spotless as my friends will testify. Just don't see the point in spending big on something just to make the tyres shine as my Supermarket silicone type spray does the job and it's cheap enough to apply every day if I like.
  16. Very interesting read and great write up Dan. Tbh I'd love either of those car's but after reading your impression on the BMW I think I'd go for the M6 if I was ever able to.
  17. If your spending £2K odd then surely it makes sense to go fully comp? If it was a £500 run around then I'd say yeah, don't bother but at £2K surely it's cheap enough to insure fully comp and protect.
  18. Possible new vehicle for you here SMD and Golf Club approved.
  19. Maybe I'm in the minority on this one but for tyre shine I really can't be bothered spending big bucks at all. I just use cheap Supermarket stuff from Asda's (Walmart) that's only around £1.50 for a 500ml spray can. The shine doesn't last all that long but at that price I can afford to reapply it as often as needed.
  20. Definitely worth it in the end though Ian as your seats look great now ~ and unique too.
