  1. Snooze you lose First time I got in first ...but I was getting the links for him.
  2. Darn it Andy just a minute quicker than me.
  3. Best way to post pictures on here is by using Photobucket. If you haven't got an account it's free to join/use and very simple. Link: http://s273.photobucket.com/ Guide on how to post pics with Photobucket: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53047-how-to-post-pictures-via-photobucket/
  4. That or HFC's would definitely be a better use of the cash imo. Stillen air induction kits are good for avoiding heat soak but then for the HR you're talking £475-£540 for the intakes. I have a Stillen air induction kit on my DE Zed and that was £250 ~ with the polyurethane heat shield it's basically an enclosed box just like OEM but with a K&N cone filter inside.
  5. Hi Chris, This is what Bems is recommending fyi; http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/GB/350z_06-08_Takeda_Retain_Short_Ram_Intakes/350z-350z-TR-3004P_.aspx There are other choices on there though if you are willing to part with more cash. Link: http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=dd876c45-6d4a-41df-bc25-7c19903fe703 It is worth noting that the general consensus is that a good set of performance panel filters is the best for performance although if you're after more noise & a bit of under bonnet bling then the intakes are the way to go.
  6. ^^ Oh definitely hate the AI. You try taking them out which doesn't work most of the time but the slightest love tap from them and your face first into the barriers. Why do we play these games again??
  7. I got that on the PC, great game, but the selection of cars competing together is disappointing. I.e. You can only have a skyline race no mixed, or no old school mini's with clios and fiesta's etc. The thing that gets me is it's a bit long winded at times ~ can be a bit boring racing twice on the same circuit imo. Also cannot get a good start off the line no matter what I try. I have got the traction control on currently which may be hindering my starts but I had to put it on as I was getting pi**ed off with an unrealistic idea of the rwd cars losing the back ends on every bend.
  8. *chants* "Build thread, build thread, build thread..."
  9. Congrats Matt and it's a pity we don't get a pound for every post we make as we'd be onto a pretty good earner, ...might also explain SMD's post count then. Some bears...
  10. Looks good Hensh and the plans for it sound good. Those alloys are a definite improvement over the ones it came with. Guessing it won't be long before it will start looking even better, maybe along the lines of this...
  11. You've been a member since 2010 and only just reached 7K posts, ...what's wrong with you? have you got a life outside of the forum or something?
  12. GTA5 is fantastic ~ one thing, just keep doing the main game missions as much as possible as once you've done the last one... Currently I'm playing "Grid Autosport" on the PS3. Great driving game with loads of different disciplines so has kept me entertained for quite awhile now.
  13. Best day ever ~ it's my birthday then. Look's like they'll be two of us at least looking forward to and enjoying that day then.
  14. ^^ As it should have been from the factory.
  15. Sure you'll love the Zed Zeezee. Get some pictures up if you can after you've collected your new ride.
  16. Welcome aboard Matt. Any pictures of the GTO rep? Sounds like a good one.
  17. Imo I'd get the Invidia Gemini exhaust system. It's what I have on my Zed and it's a fantastic piece of kit. I've had a Longlife custom exhaust system made before on an old EP3 Civic Type R that I used to own. The sound on that was good, so where the materials used & the workmanship but nowhere near the quality of Invidia's system imo. I'm also dubious about buying custom exhaust systems as it would be fairly impractical for them not to mention extremely expensive to do the R&D needed to cover the entire range of systems & vehicles that they can make exhaust systems for. At least with companies like Invidia, Borla, Stillen etc you can be assured that they have done R&D into their systems and not just welded some stainless steel together that looks pretty & sounds ok.
  18. Definitely ~ first time I've seen it so thanks for sharing.
  19. ^^ Looks good although your back box needs a polish. *exhaust back box* before any double entendre's get mentioned.
  20. What a bunch of total morons and the people watching are no better. Why the Police aren't there booking everyone of them pretty much for careless or dangerous driving is beyond me.
  21. What I would do is of no consequence, ...think you need to drive both imo to make up your own mind. For what it's worth I know the Honda VTEC engines are superb and imo the S2000 convertible is a better looking car than the 370Z convertible but I'd prefer a 370Z coupe over the S2000. No help I know.
