  1. Oooohh mohair!!! That what you wanted?. Post some pictures when the beauties fitted.
  2. Sounds lovely. Really would love to hear that at full throttle though, ....although obviously don't try that on your street.
  3. Yeah as I said in most cases the spacers work but for some (like you) it hasn't. Good though that you got it sorted. Nuisance seeing that darn yellow light lit up on the dash ~ even though I knew why it was lit up it was still a downer seeing it lit up every time I started the car.
  4. "Worms & can of" came to mind looking at that wiring Keyser.
  5. ^^ Nobody likes a show of Chris. Although who could blame you.
  6. Have a good read of this thread Toby. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/90562-cooling-fans/#entry1363688 Everything you need to know is in that thread.
  7. Chain driven ftw. Anyway something like this then maybe...
  8. So we can blame the Irish for that one. Good to know.
  9. Yep it was Horsham Developments that sorted mine out for me when they did my UpRev. Fyi the spacers go between the 02 sensors and the de-CAT's. Like the below picture although the picture is of an 02 spacer on a Subaru Forester with de-CAT's. Edit: Also some de-CATs and HFC's do come with a sort of built in spacer. Like below;
  10. Nice. That could be made to look pretty cool if you do the mods you had in mind. You might want to join this site: http://maxima.org/forums/5th-generation-maxima-2000-2003/636500-xxr-526-just-came-18x10-5-all-around-4.html
  11. Can't see the videos JJ as they're listed as private. Definitely interested to hear the sound though.
  12. It can cause the EML to come on yes as it can when fitting HFC's. You can get spacers though which are cheap enough and from what I hear do fix the problem in most cases. I fitted HFC's to my Zed and the EML came on not too long afterwards ~ I just kept doing the pedal dance (ECU reset) to turn it off though after I had the code read to check it was just the HFC's causing the problem. Eventually though I had it turned off for good when I had my UpRev done.
  13. Sounds interesting. It's older than some of the younger members though so they won't have a clue what it is without some pics.
  14. Fantastic Russ. Never ceases to amaze me the engineering that these guys are putting into this build project. That electric window and central locking solution was just genius.
  15. +1. Needs a build thread for sure.
  16. He's obviously a bit insecure SJ and if he doesn't trust you at your word then probably not a very good mate imo. Definitely for the best if you can change job locations as you wouldn't want his insecurities threatening your job.
  17. Sh*t happens. If the manager is a friend of yours and he's having a fling with that girl then be a mate to him and stay clear of that girl imo. Otherwise as you're finding out it will cause problems. Yes you've done nothing wrong & he shouldn't be so jealous but sometimes these things just escalate and tbh is it worth losing your job over if it comes to that? he is your manager after all.
  18. Good news Steve. Nice when it's just a cheap simple fix.
  19. So true. It's like they don't know that us Zed owners have Zeditus and don't like spending money on anything other than our cars.
  20. Would really need to photoshop that Golf out of shot first though. You're just too fussy, would be good for September .., Christmas shot Hhhhmm maybe. If you check out his build thread Scott has lots of great pictures that could be in next years calendar, ...most of them without a sneaky German motor photo bombing.
  21. That's part of the problem ~ too many bl**dy American traditions/ideas coming over here. Can't believe lot's of schools are now doing "Proms" over here! Wtf's that all about.
  22. I've done 140 on a test track and it felt planted tbh but I definitely get what you're on about with the braking. Coming down hard from over 100mph and it does feel a little uneasy. I was thinking of the Tein springs but I'd like a bigger drop than just 14mm on the rear tbh so may have to go with some adjustable coilovers as I don't want to go for a 30mm drop which seems the norm with Eibach springs etc. Plus it would be nice to have some adjustability to get the set up to how I like it which coilovers give you.
  23. Boo. No I'm joking of course Chris and you are right. Maybe Jeff will edit his post and move it to the dyno results thread.
  24. It's true though ~ my mate in work who has two children is now refusing to discuss Christmas with his sister's anymore. One of them always turns it into some sort of "who can spoil their kids the most" competition. The other year he told her he'd bought his youngest, a 7 year old girl, an iPad ~ he hadn't ~ his sister then went out and bought one for her 10 year old daughter. Crazy.
