  1. Have a great day Matt and hope the next year is more promising.
  2. Just been reading some of this Dan ~ hope we get to see a video of this thing on track at some point. Anyway reason I posted ~ used to own a 2003 EP3 Civic Type R and have to say it was the most reliable car I've ever owned. Handled well thanks in part to it's independent rear suspension & VTEC is a superb bit of engineering. I highly recommend you try one especially as the prices of the EP3's nowadays is just ridiculously cheap imo for what you get. Can show up a lot of newer similar type FWD cars. If you do get one I'd say a must do mod just to make it that little bit better is a Gruppe M induction kit. The sound alone when it crosses over in to VTEC is worth every penny. I had the genuine Gruppe M but Tegiwa also make a copy version which if you're not bothered about it being a copy does pretty much the same thing for half the cost. Agree with that! Had a Gruppe M on my M3 ; it made an awesome sound and everyone appreciates a well made piece of kit. I can't believe how cheap CTRs are! Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Definitely agree, ...it is a great value car imo. If I had the space and could stop spending all my money on the Zed I'd definitely like one as a track day car.
  3. Very cool and either way, PITA or not, you made a good job of that.
  4. Absolutely great, well worth it, got lots of spare parts now, not sure whether to sell or keep Ive no intention of selling the car though so I think a few things will go. Out of interest the Gates belt that was used because of the smaller size pulley was the 79". I got an email reply from Vortech that going down one size to our pulley should have meant 791/4"? So thank God I got the right one for my set up. I bought the same belt as Ian (mouthwash) which he eventually used on his with a 3.12" pulley the so I'm sure it will be ok. Can't wait as I'm less than a month to go now so should be interesting to say the least. I'm planning on selling as many of the spare/unused parts as possible to regain some cash, ...probably just to be used paying for the extra fuel I'll no doubt end up using just going out for drives.
  5. Bl**dy hell that's a bit of a saga RJF. Had some spray work done on my Zed earlier this year and it's definitely a real PITA finding a decent body shop. My car went back once and was there the first time for almost two weeks. I was pi**ed off too especially annoying as once you've given them the go ahead to do the work you're stuck using them to fix it when they screw it up otherwise you end up paying someone else to rectify ~ costing you more again. Good luck getting it sorted.
  6. ^^ Very nice and definitely the best colour Zed in view in that last pic.
  7. Literally, the exact adjective I used when they pulled the cover off. Maybe I'm just becoming more of a miserable bastard as I get older... but what happened to subtlety and classic lines? The GTR isn't exactly a looker, although I actually do really like it, but come on is that really the best Nissan can come up with? Same. ^^ This.
  8. Yeah, that appears to be the issue tbh. Twin Turbo 350Z just come up for sale the other day ~ definitely cheaper than doing it all yourself. Link: http://www.350z-uk.c...win-turbo-350z/ Cheers, its a nice car but I know my friend is looking for bigger numbers. If you read it though the guys only running on 440cc injectors and it isn't a built engine either. Definitely needs bigger injectors and with a good built engine could easily see some much bigger numbers imo. It would be a great starting point is what I'm getting at.
  9. The first Summit strut brace replaces the W brace under the 350Z then I assume does it Ewen.
  10. From what I've read the RevUp oil pump is a higher performing pump than the early DE version as it was designed to cope with the higher rev limit on the RevUp model DE's. I assume it is a higher pressure/larger supply oil pump maybe? Apparently Cosworth & Nismo also make upgrade oil pumps but some say they are not much better than the RevUp version & you pay more just for the branded names. Believe they are all straight swap overs. More info on my350Z.com.
  11. That looks great Zeus. I know you said it was a PITA but essentially was it just a straight swap? plugs/sizes etc all the same?
  12. I'd definitely roll those arches, ...better safe than sorry. Why has the bumper been sprayed 5 times though? colour match issue or something else?
  13. Was that filmed on VHS or something? Least it will be a day she'll never forget as Stevo said.

  15. Mostly likely is an early HR Bems with it being a 2007.
  16. Hello Hassan, Not sure if these are what you're after as these are just from google which I'm sure you'd have looked at but here they are anyway.
  17. "Liked" your post Adrian for the lovely photo of you & your best friend, ...but sorry to hear about his weight loss/tiredness and again sorry to read about his illness. Honestly I'd be in bits. Heart breaking.
  18. Welcome aboard. Two sites to give you some ideas for you to think about. Link: http://www.epracing.co.uk/Carbon-Accessories/Nissan/350Z/c-1-75-122-123/ http://www.tarmacsportz.co.uk/products.aspx?CategoryId=43917caa-7861-49d5-a6fd-a668cc92c13e
  19. Welcome aboard Barry. Used to own a classic JDM my96 WRX and was on Scoobynet as well. Depending on when you joined though I was probably on there before your time ~ same user name as on here. Classic's are the best and yours definitely looks like one of the best.
  20. Look's good. When in Photobucket though if you look to the right hand side of the picture you want to put up it will say "share links", ....click on the one that says "direct link" and it will copy the URL automatically for you. Then just paste that link in the "image" url box on here in the "reply to this topic" box ~ looks like a polaroid picture in the reply box. Should come out like this then.....
  21. Looks fantastic Kyle in the night view pictures, ...didn't realize these had the HUD display which looks very cool. That engine though...
  22. Gorgeous Kyle, ...the BM not you btw. Any pictures of that stonking engine then?
