  1. That BMW one quite a few trophies at a few shows over here in Belfast....really lovely (and massive) car in real life. Amazing condition for its age too.
  2. Thanks for all the feedback guys, its always a nice encouragement to keep at it!! Mattross1313: nope, no dedicated macro lens, just a canon 50mm "prime" lens so its a fixed focus length, with no zoom. The a set of "extension tubes" off ebay to later the focus of the lens and its lets you get much closer! I end up balancing the camera on the deck and using books/coats and anything else to balance it s you can get close enough to the critters! The reason that its only dead ones is that the land on our deck of the ship where I work and once they have no food source offshore and thats the end of them. At least they are easy to photograph when they don't move :-) Wayne370Z I never noticed it to be honest unit you mention it.....that was honestly just the tree line, but know you mention it.....:-)
  3. Thanks very much! Yeah when I work offshore, there is nothing else to photograph so I try my hand at a little "macro" photography! Keeps you sane and kills the boredom!!
  4. Hi guys, Like all of us, Im a total car nut, so I have a link to my flikr stream, just trying to promote my photos as its another hobby of mine....not for profit, I just hope you enjoy them. https://www.flickr.com/photos/46736321@N03/
  5. Well thats thats the cobra decays fitted, OH GOOD GRIEF. It would blow your ear drums out. There is a little drone between 1800-2300rpm but the rest of time its a deep burble at idle to all out screaming at full chat. Your correct oldbonesmcgee! It is almost deafening. I normally love the louder the better but even by my standards, its brutal. I had so much trouble getting the short tails on due to rusted bolts, I needed titanium drill bits before cutting the bolts, then drilling out the flanges. I am extremely handy, but due to trying to work on my back under axle stands, I gave up with the decats and went to a local shop. They had so much trouble, the last bolt on the manifold side was stuck, and they had to disconnect the steering rack to get access. It was an awful job, best £80 I ever spent! Decat video below!
  6. Im fitting my cobra decays tomorrow.....CANNOT WAIT now!! Your car looks/sounds awesome!!
  7. Yeah I just did my first cold start in really cool winter air this morning, loud wouldn't even describe it. I love it, the neighbours won't!!
  8. Thanks yes I'll try this week and give it a blast and upload the video! I'm still amazed what a 'baragain' they were. Clearly no performance change but for 200 quid they really make the car sound impressive!
  9. Opps sorry!! Videos are public now lol!
  10. Well I finally got the cybox installed....what a difference!! They give a deep roar on initially starting the engine then quieten down. They seem to give a loud bass line on lower rpm, then the deep baseline disappears off as you clime the revs but it just makes the entire soundtrack overall louder. The stock exhaust so was heavily corroded on a 2year old car, it took 5 hours, to remove the 4 bolts due to rust!! I tried all the usual tricks and ended up having to drill them out of the flanges with titanium drill bits! I think Ill leave it for another day before I tackle fitting the decats!! Anyway, here is a quick video from my iPhone to give you a better idea of what they are like at cold start up on a totally stock car.
  11. I found a lot of stuff on this web site, but its updated quickly and the stock seems to change. There were lights on it last week that lit up the foot wells etc, but they are gone this week!! Keep checking backhand you can also include the auctions on it too for used bits and bobs! http://www.nengun.com You might have to be patient as its from the land of the rising sun!

    TPMS

Im the same, Im still reading through the electrical drawings to try and find the fuse as Paddy78 mentioned, and where they connect into the loom, but there are a lot of pages!!! Guess there is only one way to find out lol

    TPMS

Thanks!! I think I could live without the TPMS, haven't tried yet, but ill let you know how it goes! I just can't see the point in spending the £200 (amazon price) for the reset tool as the OBD2 software can't reset it! I think the light will be annoying but thats what black electrical tape is for!!!! Now the only choice is stay with 19' or buy 20's!!!

    TPMS

Hi everyone! I have had a search and couldn't find a thread on TPMS so hope this is in the correct section. Basically, I know if you have problems with the standard TPMS sensors in the wheels you need the special tool, or a dealer to reset them. My question is, if i change my standard wheels and put on aftermarket wheels WITHOUT swapping over the TPMS sensors, I know the light will come on and remain on. However, will it clear itself AUTOMATICALLY when I put the standard wheels back on in the correct corners? Basically I don't want to have to go to the dealer every time I change my wheels in winter/summer! Thanks.
  15. They only asked me for proof of no claims and I had used the accelerator in the past. So long as the policy (accelerator) is about to run out and you want to renew it, AF are great.
