Great if you've got kids I guess. -
Nice to have some videos of the old car & current one.

I'm not on Facedouche sorry so anymore info just out of interest. Zed looks lovely but so do most when washed & waxed. What put's this wax ahead of any other brand? Like longevity/durability, beading effect etc Just curious really.

Good luck tomorrow Alan ~ hope you enjoy the drive more afterwards.

Thanks. I just knew there would be a separate section somewhere but didn't find it. Please mods can you move this for me. Build threads section is here Steve; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/156-member-build-projects/ Might have to PM one of the mods to move it.

Good luck with the fitting Steve ~ weather will undoubtedly try to ruin your plans but hopefully not, Edit: Just noticed ~ really this should be in the "Members Build threads" section. Hopefully a kind mod will move it for you if you ask nicely.

DIY wise it is doable but the problem as I see it is if you get stuck & have nobody to help you it could become a problem ~ especially if the car isn't driveable. Take a look at these DIY supercharger installs to see if that helps put your mind at rest or helps you decide just to pay a garage to do it. Hope that helps, ...should keep you busy either way.

Really must consider getting some of those LED rear lights, ....they look so good Scott. Great job on the front slam panel btw.

Great progress Alex ~ scary to watch the engine being torn out from the Zed but all for a good cause.

Nice Zed and the RX7 looks pretty bad a**.

Very nice Alan. Fyi if you want to post the pictures like I have in the future ~ When on Photobucket look to the right hand side of the picture you want to share > go to the "share links" board and click on "direct link" > it will then copy the URL for you > then when on here in the "reply to this topic" box click on the image icon (looks like a Polaroid picture in the tool bar) > then just paste into the URL box and press "OK". You should then see the picture appear in your reply box.

Couple of problems in first day of ownership
GMballistic replied to Craigy_87's topic in 350Z Technical
If you're having problems with the fans then as Lexx mentioned it is common for them to fail. Have a look at this thread for more info, help & tips. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/90562-cooling-fans/ -
Welcome aboard Simon.

Thanks leet and I'm glad it's inspiring to you. I'm guessing you meant to write Jez & not Jess, ...yes it was my car Horsham Developments had just done. Yes it's a lot of money to spend and yes I could have bought a faster car in the first place with the cash I'm sure but it wouldn't be so unique then or look like the Zed which is the car I love. Even before having the supercharger fitted I always looked forward to driving the car & fondly look back at it every time I park it. It's so much better now and tbh the sound it makes alone is worth the money I spent imo. If you can buy some parts used but in good condition then that will definitely help you keep costs down as will fitting the supercharger yourself if you have the time & can afford to have the car off the road. I really couldn't as it's my daily driver & tbh pretty glad I didn't as it was a much nicer experience dropping the car off with 290bhp odd then picking it up with over 400bhp.

Happy Birthday Tatty & Michael.

GTM ain't the best for customer service tried a while back for details on there blower for my juke no response after 2 months. Spoke to OP on the Yank forums the company is a hit n miss with them as well for info on products. Yep as I said Jdm owner I wouldn't risk it. Sad really as their kit looks pretty good but they seem to have a very poor customer service & business morals.

Could be worse?! Could be reverse instead of first like this guy.

Poor Zed.

Not a flippin' clue, ...really doesn't concern me either. I only do low mileage each year as work is very close to where I live so that helps keep the miles down. I've always gone for performance cars and honestly have no interest whatsoever in mpg. Poor mpg is just a part of owning a performance vehicle imo. Sure it would be nice if my car did 50mpg but I fill up usually every week regardless. Yes love that attitude Also worth mentioning that since I've changed the fuel injectors & the fuel system even my Zed hasn't a clue what mpg it's doing. Think it's because part of the standard way it works out the mpg is off fuel injector cycle. Oh well never mind, ..if I had wanted economical I'd have bought a Prius.
