    ^^ No probs. GLWTS.
  2. That's the thing though ~ do you just want a fast car or do you want the Zed to be a faster car? If it's the former then just sell up & buy a different car, ..but if it's the latter then you know it's not going to be cheap but you will have a more unique faster Zed afterwards.
  3. I haven't driven my Dads but one thing I know he loves is the versatility of the paddle shifters. Really good how you can use both of those, just one of them or the gear stick. Enjoy the new motor.
  4. Nope. I'm waiting to see if a few people I've enquired with get back to me. Clark Motorsport being one of them so if I hear anything I'll post in here or let you know via PM Chris. I did search the net and found a US site that sells a replacement engine cover badge in the form of one of those Zed burger style badges but it wasn't cheap & tbh I just want the Nissan one.
  5. Same as my old mans then. His is a 2007 335i as well, ....twin turbo job then Luke. Pretty rapid motor for sure.
  6. Any pictures Luke? What year is the BM then?
  7. ^^ Busted. I don't often steal pictures from people but when I do I usually get caught.

Send Robboo a PM (personal message) to get the best response. Just hover your cursor arrow over his user name to see the option to send him a message. It will also send one to his email then so you will get a quicker response. Hope that helps, welcome aboard and good luck with the Zed hunt.
  9. Ian fitted his Defi gauges once in the Zed centre gauge pod. Stolen picture below.
  10. ^^ What ZEUS said, ...look's much better.
  11. You'll love it once you get that exhaust fitted & unleash the noise.
  12. ...and RWD of course. Don't forget to check out the Zeds for sale on here; http://www.350z-uk.com/forum/51-zeds-for-sale/ Could find an ex-members cherished Zed if you're lucky.
  13. Welcome aboard Grob. Have a read through the service schedule to check against the cars history to make sure everything's been done that should have been depending on mileage/age of car. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/
  14. Great bit of kit to have in the toolbox arsenal.
  15. "Ooohh la de da look at me with my fancy borescope" Not jealous. Could have done with that the other week when firstly one of the engine cover collar sleeves dropped down into the depths of the engine shortly followed a few days later by an allen key. I got them both back the old fashioned way with lot's of swearing, a torch and a magnetic pickup tool randomly poked around the engine until I fished something up. Good progress.
  16. Cost's a little bit more than that. £3600 will get you the Vortech V3SCi kit from Tarmac Sportz yes but then there is so much more you will need before you can get the Zed supercharged. Even if you fit the kit yourself and get some parts secondhand you'll still exceed £4.5K easily imo.
  17. Plenum spacer, better panel air filter, HFC's or De-Cats, full aftermarket exhaust system and then get the UpRev remap done is the way most people go for a little more power with the Zed. Won't see massive gains but you will see an improvement in performance. As Dan mentions though sometimes better tyres, suspension setup, brakes and driver training can in fact get you faster then you where before. If you can I highly recommend the Ferodo DS2500 brake pads as they are a much better pad than those EBC green stuff pads you are currently running. You could of course buy some cams for the Zed but honestly haven't read of anyone doing just cams alone, ...usually it's done on a built engine and then it does make a big difference overall especially if you are talking about an increased rev limit as well.
  18. Fingers crossed Richard, ....that's four so far.
  19. Sorry to read that. Look's bad but hopefully it will be repairable & not a write off.
  20. Feel your annoyance Will. Last week on my way to work I drove up behind this cyclist who was dressed in "Sky" lycra clothing riding a racing bike. I waited till it was safe to do so and overtook him giving him around 2 metres space to the side. Basically I was completely on the opposite side of the road. Anyway I drive on no problem & a mile or so later come up against a traffic queue. I can see this cyclist riding up behind us pedaling as fast as he can like he's in a 100 metres dash race. As he gets closer I move over to the left giving him more room as there was oncoming traffic but still he almost takes off my bl**dy wing mirror. Then he weaves left to right gesturing like I had done something wrong. Tbh getting pretty sick of the majority of these cyclists. Serious hazard on the road a lot of them are nowadays.
