You got the bulbs right and where helpful so it's all good.
  2. Glad you're happy Alan and not a bad set of numbers.
  3. It's great to drive ~ really just makes the car so much better it's unreal. Finally has the power to match the handling.
  4. Bummer. Really appreciate you looking for it though. I might still be after it if I have no luck with my other irons in the fire so to speak. Will let you know. Thanks. You could get that one chrome plasti-dipped couldn't you? Probably right Steve so that's an option although I'm still hopeful I'll find one I won't have to do that or similar to.
  5. You're missing the point. It can be difficult in certain situations to see how hard the car in front is braking. If the brake light flashes when the anchors are put on, then this will indicate to the person following that the person in front is braking harder than normal. I'm not missing the point at all. I know why they flash but I'm in a minority I'm sure as if you asked normal joe public who's not into cars why the brake light flashes on XYZ car he/she wouldn't have a clue I'm sure. Just keep your eyes on the road & vehicles in front and it should be obvious whether the car is braking hard or not as it will start getting closer to you really quickly. Cars never used to have this feature and I don't think everyone almost died because of it. Just imo.
  6. Welcome aboard ~ Hensh loved his Zed so I'm sure it's a good one. Congrats. Check out his build thread linked in his signature just under the picture of his old Zed.
  7. No problem ~ Fingers crossed it fixes the problem and that's all it was.
  8. Just check it works first by blowing through it. Hard to tell from the picture but can't hurt to give it a try. The nylon one I linked though from Car Builder Solutions is a very solid little piece so should the other one not be up to the task then it's not exactly an expensive part to try.
  9. Do you have a picture then? If it's a non return valve & fit's the pipe then it should work.
  10. Ok so it's a terrible picture but in my defence I live in Wales & it is pi**ing down outside. You can see the non return valve in the pipe leading to the servo. Hope that helps & let us know how you get on.
  11. christ you're quick So will your Zed be when you get this all finished.
  12. Did you put a non return valve in between your brake servo & plenum? I've had this done on my supercharged Zed as the garage that fitted it recommended doing it to prevent boost pressure affecting the brake servo. Non return valve I bought is this one: http://www.carbuildersolutions.com/uk/nylon-non-return-valve-10mm I would say check out my build thread but don't think I have a picture. I'll try to take one now for you.
  13. Firstly oil ~ park the car on a flat level surface & check the level when cold. Ideally it should be at the top mark, top it up if necessary. The EML light being on will give you a code to read that should show you an error code relating to why the EML has come on. List of fault codes: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/81962-350z-fault-codes-in-pdf/ Easiest way to read the codes is to buy an OBII code reader (around £20+ on eBay) or ask (pay) a garage to read the codes or do the ECU reset procedure from the service manual which can flash the codes at you via the EML blinking in sequence although this is probably the most awkward way of reading the codes especially if there are a few on there. Codes though can be stored on the ECU for awhile unless wiped clean with the an "ECU reset" so it's best to clear them first, then drive the car & when the EML comes back on you should have the correct code relating to the most recent problem & not an old code that just happens to be on there. Ecu reset guide: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/53148-how-to-ecu-accelerator-pedal-throttle-valve-resets/ As for the vibration/loud whirring imo it sounds like a wheel bearing issue if you ask me.
  14. Very cool Keyser and no more pebbles stuck in your tyre treads now either.
  15. Bummer. Really appreciate you looking for it though. I might still be after it if I have no luck with my other irons in the fire so to speak. Will let you know. Thanks.
  16. Honestly Joey you can't go wrong with the forum traders on here. I'd be very surprised if other companies on the web can get anywhere near the service, parts, returns, prices & quality these guy's consistently offer us forum members. My recommendations; The Cougar Store (as above), Tarmac Sportz, Clark Motorsport, Horsham Developments, Redline Styling and for quality used parts zmanalex. A forum member trader called cs2000 used to sell them as a pack but I believe he's wound down his business on here. Worth checking though. Link: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/76521-350z-370z-led-bulb-kits/ For the 2003-2006 350Z you'll need as far as I can remember; (x2) 501 LEDs for the rear number plate lights (x2) 501 LEDs for the front sidelights (x1) 501 LED for the interior boot light (x2) 32mm LED festoon bulbs for the interior courtesy/map lights Hope that helps.
