It did turn out to be a useful mounting point Chris which is nice.
Probably going to have a go at tidying some other pipes/wires etc up on the weekend unless I decide to just drive it, ...which lets be honest, is much more fun.
Finally my chance,
My forum name "GMballistic" is one that I have used for years on lot's of different forums. Never see the point in changing it and it's also good for if I swap forums so other members know it's the same person.
The "G" stands for my first name; GARETH
The "M" stands for my surname and "ballistic" because I was/am interested in firearms ballistics.
First used it on the "Call of Duty: World at War" forum I think it was so ballistic seemed quite apt.
It's all personal taste jimmy ~ if it was me then that blue would definitely have to go but if you like it then stick with it.
Have you seen 14N's engine bay?
Look's along the same lines as you're trying to achieve. Hope that's some inspiration to you.

Not a flippin' clue, ...really doesn't concern me either.
I only do low mileage each year as work is very close to where I live so that helps keep the miles down. I've always gone for performance cars and honestly have no interest whatsoever in mpg.
Poor mpg is just a part of owning a performance vehicle imo.
Sure it would be nice if my car did 50mpg but I fill up usually every week regardless.
Welcome aboard ~ tbh I've not heard good things about J17 but I've never used them myself so it's a bit unfair to comment on hear say.
I have however heard good things about Greg at Tradelink cars who is also a forum trader on here. For the price of the car you're looking at you could be driving the one below. Just a thought.
Tradelink cars forum member owned SC monster: http://www.tradelinkcars.co.uk/used-cars/nissan-350-z-railway-terrace-201409057143524
Might be a bit too in your face though but have a look as Greg has other Zeds for sale that might be of more interest. Also there are Zeds for sale on here.

Personally mileage or age of the car wouldn't worry me as much as insuring it had a good service history & has been well looked after.
.
Thanks buddy.
Stainless steel with sweeping curves, rubber surrounded edges for increased pipe protection all fitted via a stainless steel allen key head bolt.
Doesn't get much cooler than that for a P-clip.
