  1. I may do that one day ~ haven't really taken any as of yet. Just enjoying it myself so much when driving keep forgetting to ask my Mrs to film it. Good way of keeping her quite too on full boost. Edit: Oh and thanks for the nice comment btw.
  2. Mods please lock as item now sold. Many thanks.
  3. ^^ Thanks both. So I discovered on my way home that although these gauges look great... ...the one above which is my oil pressure gauge does have a nasty habit of displaying on my windscreen at night like an upside down HUD. So I went on eBay looking for a solution ~ found a 60mm gauge pod hood but of course it didn't fit as it wasn't designed for the holder I have. So I used my trusty Dremel and carefully milled out a recess in the hood which then allowed it all to fit back together with no glue or anything. Just push fit. Ta da. Works a treat.
  4. I'd guess the people who are doing it though are the type's of people that literally have millions & millions in the bank, ...so for them dropping $200k on a space ride is like us spending $200 on a hire car for a two week vacation abroad. Still not for me though ~ even if I had the money.
  5. Knew it would be pricey to do something like that but that's still pretty steep. I guess it's worth it though if it's something you really want to do and you've got the free cash to burn. Personally I could think of, ...hmmm, ...well, at least 200 better ways of spending $200K.
  6. Yes you have to cut the standard engine cover to fit the pulley/charger mounting plate. Why not just cut the carbon fibre one? Trust me it's very easy to do, ...check out my update tomorrow (make that later today) as it might be of more interest to you.
  7. Thanks and trust me when I say you will love it. Hope you got a good bit of kit, ....update your thread when you can so that you can show us some pictures of what you actually got altogether.
  8. Thanks Zhorno ~ check out my build thread if you get a chance for more pictures. I bought the Defi "BF" (Black Face) gauges secondhand from Ian a fellow forum member on here so I got them at a more reasonable price but you are looking at around £640 odd for the three gauges I have in total with the control unit required to run them & all sensors which are included with the gauges. Link: http://www.driftworks.com/defi-link-meter-advance-bf-gauges.html Hope that helps.
  9. Oh well at least they'll come back better than before.
  10. Have fun giving birth to that in the morning then!
  11. Believe me I wish I'd won the lottery. This has been in the planning for maybe 10 months or so and I've put a lot of research into what I've been doing as well as time raising money to fund it all. Tried being a gigolo but there where no takers unfortunately so I sold loads of cr*p that I just didn't need or use anymore, quit smoking cigarettes (although still on E-cigs currently) and put most of the money I earned into the car parts I needed. All going to plan and very happy with the results so far thanks. Definitely would love to go to a meet next year or preferably a car show.
  12. Thanks Graham. Means a lot coming from you as I'm sure you've seen more than your fair share of Zeds. Build thread will be slowing down now as I've obviously unleashed the main event but still have more plans up my sleeve.
  13. Will be going on eBay soon if no forum takers. Thanks.

  16. Ate more of it than I'd probably have. At least you tried.
  17. Yep for sure. Just wish they still did the catalogue's where you could buy cool stuff from. Always wanted the Ferrari mountain bike but could never quite get the millions of points needed to get it. Currently just getting money off fuel vouchers so it's a never ending cycle.
  18. ^^ All in good time matey. I know what it's like waiting for something, ..but trust me it will be worth the wait.
  19. Bigger brakes are always a good idea imo but not necessarily a necessity. After all the car still weighs roughly the same and all you've (I've) done is make it go faster so as long as you drive sensibly & give ample braking distances then it's not a problem. If on track for instance you just need to be aware that a corner you usually approach at say 60 you may well now be doing 90 with the added performance so will need to brake sooner or a lot harder. I have upgraded by brakes but do intend to go one step further eventually & get a big brake disc kit once funds allow. Thanks MCook, ...hopefully given you some good ideas for the future plans of your Zed. Best get saving.
