  1. No spacers at all and still on the standard Nissan suspension set up (bar some SuperPro bushes).
  2. Welcome aboard. Another option for the car mods garage is Horsham Developments in Chieveley (UpRev authorised tuner too). About an hour & a half away from you roughly. Link: http://www.h-dev.co.uk/contact_us.php
  3. Front 9.5J ET20 with 245/35/19" Rear 10.5J ET20 with 275/35/19" Very happy with them. Bought from Mitz@the cougar store.
  4. I feel your pain brother, ...my Mrs made me watch "Britains Got Talent" on Saturday. Luckily that's the worst show she makes me endure. Everything else she likes on TV is fairly decent tbf ~ CSI, Dexter, The Following, The Walking Dead etc.
  5. I've heard that said by a few but imo it's total rubbish. I went from 18" Rays on my Zed to 19" Rota Grids and I personally felt nothing negative, ...in fact I actually felt like it improved the car. Yes they are heavier alloys/tyres than the Rays but it's no different than when you take a passenger on board, ...it's not like you'll notice a difference in performance then. If I was taking my car on the drag strip then maybe I would lose a few tenths or more but for daily driving I believe the 19's to be just as good if not better than the 18's. All just my opinion though.
  6. Not sad spotting a Zed, ...what's sad is that you actually watch Eastenders!
  7. I'm with Andy on this, ...looks great.
  8. Welcome aboard. Looks great in white with the black alloys.
  9. Very nice PPod ~ sounds good.
  10. +1. Loving the old Ferrari.
  11. Just looked on Autotrader (out of interest) and there are plenty of 350 Zeds that fall within your budget Juggalo but obviously most are high milers, imports or automatics. Link: http://www.autotrader.co.uk/search/used/cars/nissan/350_z/postcode/cf158rl/radius/1500/onesearchad/used%2Cnearlynew%2Cnew/sort/default Personally I would try & save a little more to up your budget or as you mentioned possibly consider a loan for a few £k to see you in a better car to start with. Some members have bought cheap Zeds (some from other members too so that's no guarantee it will be trouble free) that have ended up costing them a lot more money than they expected with some having found the clutch going on the way home or worse, engine problems. Whatever you decide you really need to get a Zed with a FSH ~ doesn't have to be Nissan FSH just a good history following the service schedule as much as possible so that you know the car has been well looked after. Even a high mileage example will be better (imo) than a lower mileage example with little or no service history. Service schedule for the 350 here: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/31110-service-schedule-for-a-350z/
  12. Fair enough Graham. Fyi, I'll drive you to work every day if you let me do it in the GTR.
  13. God those hill climb tracks/roads always seem so narrow. Well done Andy.
  14. I'd imagine the bus driver didn't even know what had happened. Bit like when you see a truck pushing a car sideways and the truck driver doesn't even notice... Although if the bus driver had looked in his drivers side mirror you'd have thought he'd have noticed the cyclist sprawled out on the floor. Maybe he just thought f**k him.
  15. Can't tell if sarcasm or not Graham? I mean nobody is forcing you to take the train to work are they? Why can't you drive now & why would a self driving/parking car make it ok for you to drive then? I understand the bit about taking the idiots off the road. Were is the pleasure in driving if you are doing nothing though? I get no pleasure from driving when I'm not driving and am a passenger ~ in fact it's bl**dy awful & very tedious. Not sure really that there would be massive saving on insurance either as vehicles do get damaged still via vandalism, natural disasters etc.
  16. Karma at work. If only that happened to every cyclist that jumped a red light they might actually stop doing it.
  17. +1. Honestly hate the idea of this type of thing. If only they could put their R&D time into something more useful.
  18. Did have a good look to see if I could find anything but tbh turned up nothing ~ lots of similar ones but not the same. If that's your car they are on then my advice for identifying them would be to take one of them off to see what markings & possible makers name you can find on them. Usually something on the inside hub side. Good luck.
  19. Checking the oil level even with the awkward dipstick on the 350 is fairly straight forward once you get the knack. Leave the car over night on level ground ~ always (imo) check the engine oil level when cold. Pull the dipstick out & wipe clean. Then slowly reinsert the dipstick using a torch to see exactly where the hole for it is & using the guide rails near the hole to help guide it in. Wait 5-15 seconds and then very slowly pull the dipstick out of the hole ~ ideally (imo) the oil level should be up to the top mark. Pic below for example... After you have checked the level just reinsert the dipstick again using a torch to insure it is going in the hole correctly & is seated properly. If you are unsure of the level pull it out again, wipe clean & repeat the process above until you are satisfied of a true reading.
  20. ^^ She's wicked Dan. My Mrs said she loves her.
