  1. As said it shouldn't get any louder, ...should settle down a bit tbh. Great choice btw.
  2. Oh my Ian, ....do you even get the new log books in time before deciding to sell them on?! Hope you keep the Zed a bit longer than the last 15 cars.
  3. I stripped the car before selling it I've had 15 cars in between owning this one In how many years Ian? Genuinely interested to know how often it works out that you've changed cars on average.
  4. Welcome aboard. The weathers looking good today for roadster owners here.
  5. For the money that you can get bolts for I'd just grab a few different sizes/lengths just in case. Maybe a few M8's as well. Can't see it being M4's (too small I'd say) and M10's might be too big.
  6. Does a bit doesn't it. Great job Andy. Would love to hear how it sounds when it's all sorted.
  7. Scratch x2.0 was it? I used the Megs headlight restoration kit which worked fantastically. Definitely was worth the money imo for the full kit but tbf the Ops done a fantastic job with just the toothpaste.
  8. I feel your pain. The way these "modern" garages are is ridiculous. Luckily since I moved last year I don't have that problem anymore, ...still my garage is a work in progress but definitely enough space to work on a car.
  9. My mate made a 4 post lift for his car using 4 farmers jacks (3 ton versions)... Basically he spaced them appropriately and bolted the 4 of them to his garage floor. Then he used steel box section to reach across from either side (one piece at the front & one piece at the back) with some welded plates on the tops which were shaped to fit into the normal jacking points on his Subaru. It actually worked really well and probably cost him only just over £100 to do. You had to jack up each one individually going round & round the car obviously until you got to the height you wanted which did take time but still doable on your own. Seemed safe enough & he used that set up for years with his car right up until he moved house.
  10. If you know the clutch is going and you're still driving it then the only thing AFAIK that it will be "damaging" further is the already dying clutch & possibly the flywheel face which imo you should change at the same time as your clutch anyway. Definitely safe to use still imo with the only real danger being that the clutch will just go at some point leaving you stranded at the side of a road, ...more than likely on a hill in the middle of heavy traffic, whilst raining with nowhere safe to pull over just to take the pi**. Be as sympathetic as you can with it until you get it booked in to be fixed as otherwise it will go much quicker (obviously). Good luck.
  11. Welcome aboard John. I think you made the right decision in getting the Zed over a Range Rover (not that we're biased on here ~ I mean there are plenty of members still on here who don't drive Zeds anymore).
  12. Plus 1 on all of that. It's sooting up by there so definitely letting exhaust gases out. Have a look at the professional traders on here like Torqen, Tarmac Sportz, the Cougar Store and more who can all sort you out with a nice exhaust system whatever your budget or requirements.
  13. Not quite. It's actually a mental hospital. Insert your own jokes Same difference.
  14. Hi Stuart, had a look for you & tbh couldn't really find anything that useful. Thread here involving a member having his Stroesk spoiler fitted by Falcon Performance so maybe either of them could help: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/93868-falcon-performance-appreciate-thread/ Good luck.
  15. Not sure yellow suits the 406 but the silver one doesn't look bad. Plenty of mods you can do to the 350's though so prepare your bank balance.
