Gimp is great if you can remember how to do stuff, but I had to write it all down to remember, and yes, its a free download. However, Photoshop Elements has guided sections in it to help. Try Gimp first, but if you want to spend some cash, then Elements would be best imo, if you want to move stuff around and change colours etc ......from a fellow Nikon nut

Never heard of it Doogy, is it only available in the US? Dont use a mac at the mo, so wouldn't be looking at it. Tend to use Lightroom, Elements. Photomatix and Nik filters for all my needs.

I know its a long shot, but worth checking your earth connections are making good contact before you go spending big money. A bad earth can give confusing symptoms.

The longer you can hang on the better. I searched for 4 months and I was originally looking for black. Eventually, a night blue one showed up at a great price from a private seller. This was unexpected, as it was between Christmas and New Year. So in my case, it was worth being patient, as I purchased a cracking zed.

Just re-iterating what Hodaka and Ponsonby have already said.... I would get some quality flyers printed to showcase your work. More likely to get a second glance than cheap paper ones, which no doubt get binned straight away. Quality over quantity. Then target the affluent parts of town for those with the cash. This will get the work in faster than any website. Google screwed our on-line shop because of bad links and we disappeared off the web. Its taken us 12 months and a lot of outlay to get back to the same position again! Also consider those sites Adrian was talking about again. You have to spend some cash to get your name out there! Best of luck with all that and I hope you get work sooner rather than later.

I would have thought Benidorm was the last place to go if you want to escape xmas. It'll be just the same lights and decorations as over here, except warmer Outer Hebrides ??
