  1. The sat nav is pants, and that cubby is handy. If you do want a sat nav you can mount a proper one in there or get one built into a double din head unit when you replace the Bose one which is also pretty rubbish. As long as it has good service history and drives fine I wouldn't worry about having no nav. For reference, DE is the earlier engine (2006 and earlier) HR is the newer 2007 onwards one (Zeds with the bulge on their bonnet)
  2. Nothing wrong with that. Only takes me an hour to do a weekly/sometimes twice weekly maintenance wash. Can spend 12 hours on a full detail though and often spend 4/5 extra on a maintenance wash doing other bits. Nothing wrong with spending time looking after something you enjoy
  3. Aren't the bleed nipples about £70 each? Edit - doh, already mentioned!
  4. Doh I just came here to post that as mine did that earlier when I reset it before I went for a blast around my private slippery country roads.
  5. What are the massive holes for that are behind the holder? When I took mine off I couldn't work out what they could be for.
  6. Very pleased about this, much better idea really.
  7. Good to know. They could do with a refurb but no point making them worse, the lip is currently the better part of the wheels. Yup most people forget to dilute it. I've moved away from traditional wheel cleaners and moved onto iron x type products and shampoo. Best product I've ever used is sonax total effect wheel cleaner but not sure if ok for polished rims Sent from my GT-I9505 using Tapatalk The Sonax is PH neutral and safe on all types of rims, including polished.
  8. Redline Styling on here do them for £35 inc postage brand new btw.

    Damn!!

GTR owners do seem quite friendly round here too.
  10. you'd recommend them to service?? Absolutely. People travel from all over the UK on this forum to go there, they really know their stuff.
  11. Black Diamond are a great step up from OEM if you are looking for better performance
  12. Jeez! Its an old topic so prices may have changed, but Alex was selling spark plug set for £45 iirc, all you need is a spark plug socket from Halfords for 8 quid and about 45 mins of time. £180...seriously Nissan! HR plugs are £100. The cheaper ones are for the DE.
  13. Go up to Abbey Motorsport in Oxted.
  14. BMW drivers are the worst around here, when you see one you can almost guarantee they will drive on your bumper, have no lane discipline or try and 'race' you, this always seems to be the 1 series drivers for some reason. I did get caught out by what I thought was yet another boring 1 series, couldn't work out how he was able to keep up with me when I had enough of him driving 1cm away from me in traffic up to a roundabout, then realised it was a M135i. Just looks the same as all the other BMWs (boring) 'Hot hatch' drivers are pretty much the same, mainly Golf drivers I've noticed and I've also noticed people in GT86s/BRZ think they own some kind of super car bless them and drive in a very similar fashion to the above.
  15. I wish. I've already done 10k since I got it 6 months ago!
  16. The BMWs use a fake soundtrack of an engine that gets played through the speakers, it's not actually the cars engine you can hear. Very pointless idea.
  17. I still wash my car in the rain, I did today with my waterproofs on, neighbours must think I'm mad!!
  18. Looks lovely, the black wheels really suit it. How do you find the head unit? I need to replace my stock one with something better and was looking at the AppRadios.
