  1. I haven't really looked into as much as other people as you can tell with my lack of positive contribution to this thread. When you speak to anyone in Scotland you are either getting a yes vote rammed down your throat or a no vote. If the non Scottish members were in our spot would you consider it? Some of the bookies up here have slashed the odds on a yes vote so it is gaining some momentum. I'm am curious as too why some of the on Scottish members are getting so uptight in convincing us its in our best interests to vote no. I can understand there will be a knock effect to the rest of the UK. What do you want to wake up and see happen... Yes or no?
  2. Knew you would mention them Jim Savile ? ooo wait..
  3. BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMM Thread revival! My car goes in tomorrow to get this done.
  4. Well done gman for not loosing your cool. Some shocking comments among that from fellow users from just browsing through.
  5. +1 stick up some pictures of the brackets as I had noises in my car
  6. Mines is the same, the is a pedal dance for doing the idle re-learn which might make it a bit better. You can also try cleaning the throttle body/MAF but the few 350s I have been in tend to run smoother with the AC on.
  7. That how you created the beast Keyser? using the oil from your diff everywhere Buster give a hand?
  8. give us a shout Glrnet as my mates stay in Carluke so I am in Carluke about twice a week. There is 3 routes, given that you will be coming up the 74 then probably the larkhall route would be the quickest. The traffic around lanarkshire isn't bad at all, espcially the way you're heading so any route you take will be fine PS Carluke isn't a nice area

    Corvette C6

I'm confused, The VXR8, is this not still a monaro thus still vauxhall? This is a genouine questiong and not trolling
  10. Sure thats a repost Dave, obv not with the Dig at Octec though
  11. It is a very tight squeeze and you may of seen I gave up on my first attempt aswell I fitted mine with the handbrake up and with the rubber surround still in position (I didn't want to remove it either). I found a fork with a flat rounded handle did the job of literally wedging the leather down between the handle and the console. Once it's started and you've got some of the leather in all the way round, it gets easier. Then it's just a case of fine tuning, pulling the handbrake on and off and wedging the gaitor until you're happy. Good luck! Thanks Ian, I gave up pretty quickly and the champions league was coming on(wish I gave up on that as well) Will get out with a fork tonight and hopefully have a bit more luck!!

    Corvette C6

Suppose it would be better have the corvette badge than the vauxhall, however having a Nissan surely shows we aren't badge snobs Tbh for 30K it is good, but what else can you get for 30K 6 years old??
  13. My previous car was a mk4 golf gt tdi pd130 running about 260bhp which was owned for 2 years. If that means anything? Did you go on the comparison website? Admiral tend to be good for younger drivers. Im 23 with 2 year ncb, all mods declared and got £800

  18. Hey guys, Fitted this yesterday night. Gear knob was easy enough but the hand brake was a nightmare. I gave up after a bit as the football was coming on (wish I hadn't bothered with that) Did you guy have the handbrake up or down when you fitted it? I tried to remove the rubber part around but was too scared of it not going back into place.
  19. Sorry mate, repost Guy posted it in the annoucements section.
  20. I love how it was a moderator who chucked the hook out and everyone took the bait
