Silver 350z Roadster smoking / steaming Swindon
hensh65 replied to PiGFoetus's topic in Spotted or Flyered
No doubt the common fault with the fans -
Been discussed a lot on here and when I saw your title I feared for your safety Someone will be sure to correct me if I am wrong but the damage is caused after the DE exceeds 5KRPM. So if he never really hooned it about then you might be ok although not great.

Should mention that the cable is included for the steering controls

Hey guys, I bought this a few weeks ago but i am now getting rid of my car so this is up for grabs. I got it off ebay for £200 And the fitting kit hasnt been opened and cost me £67.2. The guy who has it before me has it in a mx5 mk1 so the wiring kit for that is with it in case someone has one of them Looking for £230 delivered or £220 collected from Lanarkshire
-
Be careful with the man-maths here, it will not return anywhere near that if you will be using the loud pedal more than the bare minimum. I didn't actually think I would be getting good MPG while it was being smashed about, I just tell the misses I am after running the 350z in rush hour every day anything better than 20 mpg will be like heaven and the saving will go into mods to make it look less of a boring German rep mobile.

have you not used Infiniti in Hillington mate? worth taking the journey into town IMO

Goal posts are changed, there is the possibility of me having to work in Edinburgh and not glasgow in the not so distant future. This means a lot more miles which means I cant really afford to run something bad on petrol. Kills me to even consider it but I went and looked at an Audi A5 at the weekend There is one that I think could make it an ok transition. the 3.0 tdi quattro, out the box its 0 - 60 is 5.9 while still returning over 50mpg. a remap sees them pushing over 600 ft/lb, clutch smashing power Went and saw one at the weekend but it wasn't an s line and Ekona would have died on the spot seeing the tyres. rear tyres, one was a bridgestone and the other a good year, front tyres, one was a piliot sport 3 and the other was a budget with a tear out the side wall!! No thanks but I am looking more into these.

The Results of The Scotish Vote for Independence.

The mood in the camp is very, very firey as far as I can see. family members falling out over social media etc. Was never a result that was going to be taken lightly given how much work both sides put into the debate. -

How? Not even the people counting tonight will know where its going. -
I have the AMS gt bumper which is made to fit the 350z. All I can say is the people fitting it didn't like me so I doubt you could take an OEM 370z bumper and make it fit without a lot of money to burn. Cant see why you would want to either there is tons of good looking front ends for the 350.

If its an E90 you have a deal but I doubt you would be swapping to a Zed if it was Good trade mate but not the car for me
-
Think people didn't want to enter after watching top cars not even getting 2% of the vote!! 3 completely different cars, charged vs drift vs stance. Good luck
-
 BOOOOOOOOMMMMMMMMMM HEAD SHOT !!!!!!! We all know for a fact what we tell the misses and what happens are 2 completely different things
-
Thanks for that, it clearly is too high. How can these small chains live charging that sort of money! Mental but I will continue on
-
When I posted it first I was half expecting people to say,,,, ehh thats what it costs for a 14K loan but yes its really steep. I have a lot of advice from the traders on here and one hopefully going to help me out in this predicament. This forum really is the best, if I do get rid of the Zed I can't wait to join the team of Dave, Dan and coldel and start bashing all your cars Kidding
-
I am pretty sure that there would be a few people interested in the front and rear bumper but that would mean getting an oem bumper to replace. My car has had a full respray and doesnt even look slightly the same as the oem sunset orance so it would mean have 2 shockingly different panels.
-
Yes I was prepared for getting a rotten price as I never put all the mods on to make money at the end. But I was gob smacked when he said £325 over 5 years. If he said £280 I would have put a deposit on it there and then.
-
Lucky you George for letting Sy doing the work and not me I was going to just take your car and ring its neck then clean the evidence off
-
I might need to do that mate, I just don't know why they're so expensive and their website states that they wont use any other finance company other than the ones they're using at the moment. I could try and get the finance myself but I have never done anything like this. I got the 350z of a small dealership and they got me a really good deal with Barclays, so just a bit annoyed as I really had visions of getting it wrapped up at the weekend.
-
The thing is though for little money you can get good power gains. I don't intend to as you will get the problem of putting pressure on other parts but its something I could do when I get bored. Yes the whole deal is a bit rotten. £6.5K trade in for my car which is a 55 plate with 65 on the clock with 10 months tax and mot till next year. Makes me sick with the amount that been spent on it, but thats mods for you. Putting 600 down ontop of my car which is bringing out the total to around 14K. Over 5 years I though that would have been aroudn £270/280? ?
-
The one thing I have agreed with the misses is that when I get the next car I wont be tweaking it. If I bought a car and said, but I have still to buy the charger she would punch me straight in the face I have no doubt it would be fun out the box but I think its too small IMO. I could be rethinking what I am getting as this place I am looking at the EVO must get finance from a mob boss. He has just came back saying the monthly will be around £325. This is on basically 14K, what do you think of that?
-
I do like both but they're really really small. I looked at the Elise, the only one in my budget was an 03 I think and at the same price as the evo x. I am not a fan of the Elise looks, would much prefer the Exige but my pocket sadly wouldnt!
-
I thought about the 370 but no offence to the 370 guys but i think mines is better looking than the standard 370. I really am getting a lot of people saying im off my head for getting rid of it but i do think its time. Evo x isnt on the same planet with regards to looks like the zeds but stamping on the loud pedal will help with that.
