  1. Just googled hd1. They look really good and good value! Whats the feeling like with no kick on the right foot?
  2. Brum is a bit of a trek mate Rock band is also awsome. Ive played a couple of Roland kits but they are really pricey
  3. Thats the best way! I have a rather large collection of guitars and amps, infact I'd say i spend more on music than I do motoring and thats scary really I've been quite good that way but when i get more space i will be investing in a electric drum kit. No doubt i will over spend as you always end up seeing something that hit better that just happens to be 100 or so over budget
  4. What are you doing, I don't want more people with it!!!
  5. That is a lovely guitar but for £800 I dont want a copy of something, I will have a look at there other guitars though I have played a few Jackson guitars and its not any better than my Ibanez other than than my Ibanez doesn't have EMG pick ups. I really am trying to avoid another metal guitar. I really like how a Les Paul looks but like all the Gibson guitars I have played they all have a really fat neck which doesn't suit the things I tend to play. Going at the weekend to try a few things so hopefully see something I like!
  6. I should hope you play with a name like Rock_Steady I put heavy gauge strings on the warlock and tuned it to Drop A. With heavy heavy distortion it sounds amazing! pinch harmonics just sound 5000times better when tuned a lot lower.
  7. If you want to step the car out for a bit of fun then it will still slide. As i said its not a massive difference.
  8. If not sliding and smash your car is less fun... then yes they're less fun. I have bridgestones and went to mpss straight after. There isnt that big a difference, they're just that bot better. I really noticed the difference in the wet.
  9. Thats a cracker! Shame it has a floyd rose! Not that i could afford it no doubt anyways
  10. I have 1 semi, 1 3/4 semi and a full body acoustic. 3 and 3 would be nice my mate is in the market fforan american tele and he has had one before. Thats the only reason i wouldnt consider one
  11. I've also got the Metallica version of GH and the guitar. I can't play that very well either Me and my mate played it when it first came out. Literally 3 weeks ago went to a pawn shop and got 2 guitars and 4 guitar hero games for like £45! Few crates of beers, cracking night
  12. Suppose its good getting all ten fingers coordinated, least you have something to do when the rest of the band takes the girls home
  13. So how cheap are you selling me one of those PRS I think I need EMGs in my life tbh
  14. I think it might be the trucker style base that you may be needing maybe it is! Stick me down for blades if you get enough interest
  15. Yep I know exactly what you mean, The same feeling I get when I play my Ibanez. Really good guitar a sounds good but just never liked it that much from day one. Plus the floyd rose bridge is just a head ache and a half. Here is the 2 I am looking at, very very different guitars. http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/electric_guitars_detail.asp?stock=13122413413132 http://www.guitarguitar.co.uk/electric_guitars_detail.asp?stock=11062112432837 What do you think?
  16. I could also be doing with some new blades as well. Do they do horns that make a really loud "F**K YOU" noise ?
  17. I have played one and it really is a nice guitar, I also used to have a digitech Gnx2 pedal board years ago. Just googled the RP1000 and it looks a nice bit of kit. Does it have the option of looping or anything? The SG was always my fav guitar right up until I played it and thats when I didn't like it. Like you say it is a really heavy guitar and not ideal for what I was playing at the time. Have you had any Exposure to PRS guitars? my budget only has me looking at the SE model but some of them look really good.
  18. That is really jammy, most strats and teles do look the same to the un-trained eye whether they're £400 new or £3000 new. Did he punt it or did he keep it? Kept it, paid about £80 for new strings and a proper service (is that the word? ) He's a bit of a collector, and amazing at playing too. He has a Gibson, not sure what it is though, this is a picture of it: www.instagram.com/p/rSNZRbt0AI He has 2 or 3 others too Would have been a Set up No oily bits in a guitar to change Thats a Les Paul, you are really looking at £1300+ for a good one but they aren't for me. Really good looking guitars though!!
  19. I looked at Gibsons when I was looking at my Ibanez. Les Pauls were out my price range then and tbh I wouldn't be too keen to stretch my budget now to own one. You hit the nail on the head yourself, big chunky neck! Great sounding guitars but I would 100% need a thin neck, not sure if any the Gibson range offer that?
  20. What if the engine went bang and they had to get a new engine?
  21. My mate has one of these and they sound and play really nice. I had looked at an ESP LTD but I am really trying to avoid another metal guitar!
  22. That is really jammy, most strats and teles do look the same to the un-trained eye whether they're £400 new or £3000 new. Did he punt it or did he keep it?
  23. Hey, Don't know if any you guys enjoy a bit of shredding after shredding some tyres but I am looking at getting a new guitar and fancied some second opinions. My currently electric guitars I own are Ibanez S470dxqm : Has a floyd rose bridge(real pain in the ass to re-string) and the wizard II neck BC Rich Warlock : Had this guitar close to 10 years, dont use it at all but keep it as it was my first electric guitar. Sound : Marshall MG100 half stack with a boss GT-10 pedal I play a lot of varied things so not really looking for a completely focussed guitar. In the past as you could guess with the 2 guitar I own, I have been more geared towards heavy rock/metal music. I am looking for a more all round guitar but still very capable of playing fast technical without too much strain. Budget is around £800 + 100ish for the right guitar.
