  1. How long do you think it will be before the 350 is a common track day car? What I mean is, if you go to any of the open track days you tend to find tones of Clios mx-5s etc because they are cheap to buy and get track ready and also a bundle of fun. I've noticed the likes EP3 falling into this cat as they are also becoming cheap to obtain. The 350z can't be far away from the average punter being able to buy with the sole purpose of track toy?
  2. type it into google and go on his website and have a browse around. If you're interested in getting one you can always drop him a PM as he tends to acquire one off parts he wont otherwise put on the website. Might get lucky
  3. I am not lucky enough to have 10K sitting spare to blow on a track car but I could easily blow it within an hour if I did What would you do if you had 10K to buy and build a track car? What car and how much? Engine mods and cost? Handling mods and roll cage, how much? Costs can be rough or as exact depending on how much time you want to waste dreaming
  4. Tha will explain it I used to stay i motherwell but just stay in the estate across from the ravenscraig. Will keep an eye out on a Monday now
  5. Seen you a couple of time mates, where are you from? I can't remember Neil as this was from October last year I have saw that guy down the street from you, mind we both drove past him? There is also a GM in my estate with standard GT wheels. The amount of 350z with an ML postcode must be going close to 20 I think which is mental!
  6. I'm just asking the question mate! How does that work that iv brought the wrong car? Hes being funny as its the normally question and answer that comes up on this forum every week. I dont know how many miles i actually do but i put £80 a week in
  7. Thanks nissanman but it looks like it sold
  8. Hey guys, One of my mates has joined the forum recently as he is looking to invest in a zed. He has saw one in Birmingham but being from Scotland its not just a case of poping down for a nosey. Is any members close to here and could swing past and cast your eye over this car please? http://www.tradecarsalesbirmingham.co.uk/used-cars/nissan-350-z-3-5-v6-3dr-birmingham-201406074839991/gallery Thanks
  9. My old manager had one and spent a bomb keeping it on the road. But he loved it and bought another alfa
  10. I just recommended inception to a guy at work this afternoon Weird!!
  11. My mate has just bought the brand new Golf R with the DSG box, was having a look at the stats which are mind blowing for a golf! I then went and had a look at some of the sales rep cars sold by BMW and couldn't believe what I was reading. I don't know if you guys have any type of car that you hate the car and drivers in them but I have quite a few. BMW 3 serise is at the top of mine!!! However, on closer reading I think I will make sure I have a look at the boot before I decide to over-take the new wave of them. Take the latest 330d, normally (not always) you would consider a diesel to be slow of the line but unbelievable on the move with the mass of torque it produces. The 330d gets to 60mph in 5.3 This is with 255hp and a massive 413ft-lb The 335d will hit 60mph in 4.8secs with 313hp and 446ft-lb and still return an average mpg of over 50!!!! I have never driven a powerful diesel so what is the draw back here? this is a genuine question

  19. Only damage was to the bird that was as you can see,,, wrecked This was in the convoy back from Japfest, Neilp had originally hit the bird and came out from under him and my car bounced over the top of it. I looked behind me to see the bird splatter on his front bumper,, laughed from Livingston all the way home

    My Supra

Looks like your mind has changed quite a lot with this Ian. I think you are doing the right thing. R34 gtr would be cool but the supra done right is just as nice
  23. The other thing to bare in mind is that manufacturers charge you more to give you less. I am sure they could make every panel, interior trim etc in carbon fibre. That all comes at a cost and the biggest appeal about the GT-R is how its affordable and can kill off cars 3 times its value on the road and on track. They could easily the price of the Nismo closer to the 200K bracket but then who would buy it? I would imagine it would be an absolute beast of a motor but 200K for a Nissan?
