Hey guys, Thankfully the Zed community has people from all walks of life and thought I would see if anyone does or has done what I am looking to do. Before I start my zed is my daily commuter and is a show and go car to me, so have absolute no intention of using it on track. I do a lot of local karting competitions indoor and outdoor at the various places across the central belt. They have varied skill ranges and involve using the normal run of the mill karts. I would love to just buy and run my own kart and start doing better competitions but sadly me and the misses are trying to buy our first house. I aslo thought about trying the ginetta want 2 race scheme as the qualifying was at my local indoor track. I didn't bother as although I would consider myself to be good at karting, I have had little track time in a car so very much doubt i would cut the mustard.... One option I have seen is doing the EKL, elite karting league. Which means you have to get a team of 3-6 drivers. £400 entry for the team for a day of karting in a pro kart. Thing is all the tracks are down south so would mean travelling every time. Has anyone done any of the ginetta, clio cup schemes? Anyone do any competitive karting? or know of any good leagues or compettions you can join? Cheers, Kris

Banana arm issue stops making noise when you brake. I replaced my drop links thinking it was them but it wasn't. If you can have a look and see if any the bushes are fooked then you might be ok. If it does stop when braking you might find its the ball joint so its the Banana arm which isn't cheap.

is the bonnet black i always thought it was carbon lol The pictures at the top is with a normal HR bonnet either sprayed or wrapped black. Looking at Busters other work I would say it was spray. It could also be the finest weive I can see,,,, or infact I am blind TBF I'm not wearing my glasses today.

I had the same issue when I fitted the nismo spoiler. The boot wouldn't even stay open due to the weight but I took out the boot weight which sorted the problem

not that i wanna **** on your bonfire, but you can get a ep3 early model with high but correct on a 12k yearly average miles etc for around 1.5k few years back 2012ish they were 3-4k but try getting a EK9 or Dc2 for that money no chance, but the EP3 is bad example and they are true Chav chariots, saying that they whole honda scene seem to have shifted that way over the last year years, 5-7 years ago horrific cars driven well 3-4 years ago it was tasteful car driven well now its tasteful (minus the plastidip and cheap nasty stickers) cars driven like morons, Sorry I shouldn't have based my argument on the EP3 but what I was saying is that car will never be scrap value cheap as forgetting the baseball cap, big exhaust and vtec yo image, its still a fairly fast and fun car. If they start dropping under 1K then I will be getting one as a run around to stop putting miles on my Zed! a quick Parkers says they value from £1500 - 5450 which isn't bad for 01- 05. I do take your point about the DC2 and EK9 though

Agree with the above about ditching the roof spoiler. I also prefered the bonnet body coloured but I don't like any car with the black bonnet so I am a bit biased As for the respray comments, why buy a 2 seater sports car and paint it a boring colour?

I see Dave was whacking my comment about demand for a fast car, to consider the zed as slow is just trolling. Yes the base spec £30K bmw 135 msport will beat it, as will the Merc AMG a class at £45K and even the value for money new Leon at £27 odd or whatever it is. Don't quote me on the prices but take the EP3, they still seem to be holding a fair value with age because as a fast road or track car they are still worth buying. They aren't fast by your standards either but still not dropping in price

Had to watch this in work, I must say all 3 of them are douche bags. I agree there should be a jail sentence for this as he has put his passengers and everyone on the track in danger. I was also annoyed that the girl kept trying to grab the steering wheel even when he was on track!

Was speaking with another forum member about this last night. Its a hard one as with the demand for a fast car always high then you can see them becoming a "shed" but would be interesting to see what happens when the 370zs become cheap as the 350z is always going to be cheaper. They could force the price down on them sadly.

De is 280 bhp 03-55. 06 and some 07s get the uprev engine which you have. 07-with the bonnet bulge is HR with 309 bhp. Intakes and exhausts will be the same for de and uprev. Other than the front bumper and hr bonnet every other panel is the same. Spoiler on 03 fits 08

Not automatically but 15% of all players at the World Cup play in the Premiership, I think if you compare our team to Greece or even Belgium, for instane then its not that bad at all. As Ekona says, quality is never really the issue, its actually playing like you want to win a game. This is the argument I have with my english counterpart across the desk as far as entertainment goes EPL is the best league in the world. but quality wise it isn't which has been shown with poor champions league runs over the last few years with the exception of Chelsea winning it but they went out the following year at the group stage. Englands other problem is that they have a quality league but that makes it even more impossible for their young English talent to break into the team. With teams like Newcastle not fielding one English player. I do think England have a good side, but compared to 4 years ago, they are not as good and 8 years ago they aren't even in the same league. Belgium have a poor league but they have a cracking team with half of them doing their business in the EPL. I heard England are 10th favs for the world cup. My point was England at this point have a team at different ends of the spectrum. Half of the quality is seeing out their international football and the other half are very young and have a lot to learn. Does England have Quality in their team? yes. Do they have enough quality to compete with the top 3 or 4 teams? not really.

I wasn't bashing England but lets face it, by your own standards this is a very poor standard. Becuase they get a start in the EPL doesn't make them good. Smalling plays for Man Utd and getting a start and he is absolutely god awful. Without Terry at the back and a youthful Stevie G/lampard then its pretty much an average team. As I said I don't think its a big ask to get out the group and your following 4 aren't terrible but by no means easy. Greece have been a really strong side with little to no real big players. I honestly think you all will enjoy it so much more because if you get out of the group then everything else is a bonus. I would love Scotland to be in a group they aren't good enough to get out of Only thing is that group tends to be the one to get into the world cup!
