  1. Get on the bike and you can go anywhere fast...
  2. Why would you write 350z on it? you've already got it and Z's all over the car and I don't think it needs 8 more Hell, even Strudul would look better
  3. That was the one we saw at goodwood, looked completely average, except it's stripped out interior and semi-slicks
  4. I saw an early prototype the other day:
  5. not entirely relevant, but MOOG make suspension parts for a lot of the NASCAR teams.
  6. It's 90% going to be your clutch slave cylinder, it's a really easy fix if the car has the single intake. If it has the double intake, you might as well do a clutch change at the same time as you need to take the whole gearbox off to fix it.
  7. I'm not sure, maybe I'll have to go out as a passenger in it to see for myself
  8. Not going to lie, when I saw V8, Hemi and Mopar in the same sentence I was hoping to see a Hellcat, but this will do just fine in the absence of one Very cool
  9. I had one as a hire car once, always an exception to every rule
  10. What did Lexx say!? Miss typed shot? swear filter now cuts out crack? I can't think of any other possible options
  11. Now, I'm not a guru, but it's all practice. Knowing that if you smash a kart into the barrier it's a giggle is very different inside your head to the thought of smashing a car. Also, it's very counter intuitive letting go of the steering wheel and watching it spin. 3m7s is good here to see the wheel spin. Throughout this video you can see Bizz, Steve and I all let go of the wheel completely and then grab it again to keep the slide at the right point. Drifting a Z is awesome fun and they're great cars to learn in, would highly recommend it to anyone, especially if you have someone sat next to you who can help you with learning the ropes. edit: can't embed the video for some reason :S edited edit: yay I did it!
  12. To end this with answers, not speculation. Taken from the financial ombudsman's website: If they were faced with a claim for hundreds of thousands of pounds, they'd be getting out of it any way possible.
  13. Quite a lot of insurers have a couple of hundred quids worth of audio cover included as standard. I might be wrong, but I always presume that means oem or aftermarket.
  14. I sent a spreadsheet of parts replaced/upgraded to my insurer and they didn't have a problem with it. Phoned me to check a few things, but they we're awesome about it. I've always found telling them everything helps, because it shows you care, so the broker cares and puts more effort in to help you

Even the cool ones are ugly A certain film made them more desirable though, but only if you put a huge bodykit on
  17. Stoptech pads are pretty awesome. I threw some on in an emergency (I hadn't planned properly ) and did a track day the next day, no bedding in at all and hammered the crepes out of them all day. Literally had no complaints at all, especially for the money and the fact they include new anti squeal shims too which is nice.
  18. Put it this way, I fumbled through putting two tyres on my brand new wheels on saturday. I watched a video on youtube and tried it for the first time ever and I didn't mark either of them. It took me an absolute age, but nothing got damaged. I'm obviously no pro, and low profile tyres are harder than larger profile tyres, that could have had something to do with it, but I'd say it's down to rushing.
  19. I generally won't drive anyone else's car, purely because I wouldn't let anyone else drive mine. I can't refuse to let someone drive mine but accept their offer to drive theirs I'm always respectful of other peoples vehicles, unless they're going to auction to make an awful company money... or the scrappy
  20. I worked at the Chertsey branch for a month, absolutely terrible company. I had cars break down on test drives, the extended "warranty" was worthless too. My favourite part of the job was picking up peoples trade in cars from their house, they'd already been valued and they were going to auction anyway, so you'd rag the tits off it because no one would care if it got broken.
  21. Ohh good shout Chris. I was actually expecting something anti-Porsche related. Surely no one would dare I HATE PORCHES!! So ugly and the design has basically never changed. They seriously need to stop copying the designs for years on end. Just make the house bigger
  22. With the MOT for the truck the tester made me drive it in as he was nervous of it, then on the way out he said "don't get stuck on the rollers, just go at a decent pace to get in and out of them quickly" I got stuck in the rollers
  23. You HAVE to start a thread for it! Pleaseeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee
