  1. I don't think you get points for the plate, or certainly I didn't. I got a £60 fine (Now raised to £100 I believe) for mine back in 2007/8, I've never done it again
  2. I'd say so. I'd also guess that she was fleeing the scene of an accident due to the front end damage on her car which is probably how she stuffed the wheel in the first place. The damage is probably from the front of the car dragging down the road
  3. I'll try to remember to grab some pics tomorrow
  4. a simple spreadsheet is best, nothing worse than when a client provides a MASSIVELY complicated spreadsheet which makes 0 sense to anyone other than themselves
  5. They just bolt on to the back of the bumper. In regard to stopping them, I just folded the pipe over on itself and used a jubilee clip to keep it tight then cable tied the pipes to the crash bar. Then I can put them back on in future if needs be. Even when the car tries to use them nothing comes out
  6. :D :D Stop that No! Its mine and I thought of it!
  7. As below Also, this always confuses me, "aero doesn't work until you're going over 80mph" it's said a lot, if you go for a cycle with lycra on, you're going to get a higher top speed than if you go for a cycle with a knee length coat on. The coat catching the air is going to slow you down because it's causing drag. Drag and downforce are related and an increase of one will increase the other... to a certain extent. A wing on a drift car will be at a massively steep angle of attack, basically creating some downforce giving you grip off the line. When fully sideways, yes you'll be relying purely on mechanical grip, but you're rarely 90 degrees sideways unless something has gone wrong. Most of the time you'll be at around 45 degrees or less, meaning that you'll still feel some benefit. Also the likes of Rhys millen used them as a safe barrier, Its more surface area on the side pushing against the wind to stop it spinning full rotation He even added on one of his cars a full on perspex sheets from the wing to car For rookies like me, it's all about mechanical grip and a big wing is just because they look cool
  8. in couple of years when people start losing random LED's in them they'll be a LOT more popular
  9. In one of the first 2, he takes both rear lights off the back of his subaru, in the one in france he hits a concrete wall pretty hard, you can see it going to happen, then it cuts to an interior shot where you see him wince on impact. They're just the ones I remember
  10. If you watch the gymkhana videos you see him hit stuff all the time, they just then cut to another view For the Gymkhana in San Fran, they filmed for 5 DAYS!!! yes, that's DAYS!! To do a 7-8 minute video!
  11. I saw him crash during a demo last year, not even a race, just a demonstration
  12. Surrey and Hampshire police have a gun amnesty on currently I believe
  13. I'd imagine, they are fine, as I ran tapered nuts on my gt wheels for 2 years or so with no issues. Tarmac probably can't say that JUST in case something goes wrong
  14. Why does everyone want gold wheel nuts so badly?! This comes up like once a month
  15. Had to change mine a few weeks ago, one day perfect, the next lots of weird things
  16. This is awesome, one take and crazy skills
  17. WRONG!!!! Foust is THE BEST!
  18. One in each side of the tank I believe, try giving them a clean before replacing, there's a procedure somewhere on here Edit: I'm not 100% on the number of senders, will update once confirmed to avoid bad information.
  19. I know you USED to be able to, and I remember them talking about stopping it because people were getting bogus MOT's and tax etc on really old cars to get the old style plates off them. I don't remember anything actually coming of it though, however, as it never affected me I didn't follow it religiously
  20. they issue you a replacement, you don't need to do anything other than have the physical plates made up
