  1. Tin top, kit car, caterham/westfield. elise/vx? Whats on the shortlist?
  2. One thing is sure, its done Macron no favours in his popularity at the opinion polls.
  3. Pretty sure they said in the link an engine has been tested to 220 hours which they equate to that 60k miles you mention, with a mix of track laps. nurburgring laps, heavy duty road and motorway simulation etc etc
  4. Hopefully to lighten the mood and all agree this is absolutely epic and a great showcase of British engineering!
  5. It does seem a shame it couldnt break just below the nose for sure Still looking forward to seeing one in the flesh
  6. It was well documented post referendum and of course it sits on your side of the fence so understand why you mention it, but, you would honestly put your faith in a demographic that literally couldnt be arsed to get their ass down the polling station in the 15hrs or so it was open and exercise their right to vote and have their say? At the very point they didnt exercise that right, they vetoed that vote and any voice they had.
  7. Love the dedication to the Z mate, did i remember you saying you were looking for an alternative to go play hillclimbs/track days in?
  8. One thing that has just struck me is, how wide is that bonnet, looks like its opens from the 2/3rds of the way up the wings, the opening straight line at the front breaks the flow, definitely will look better darker to take the eye away from those bits imho Very much like the double bubble roof as per the FT1, reminds me of the RX7.
  9. I certainly couldnt advocate our referendum and not a scottish one as per early in this thread and the possible material changes in this country has given just cause, but perhaps this has highlighted some fundamental flaws, a lot like last night, the pm's authority cant be challenged for another year from within, i think we need a new law making referendums legally binding for a decent minimum term or an individual caveat based on those referendums that sets out a time period where it can go back to the polls.
  10. I watched it unfurl on Sky News, the supporters of TM said it was a victory, the no confidence said it was a victory and labour still say they want an election, so absolutely a waste of time, except she didnt get voted out! One highlight did pop up though, an interview with Sturgeon where she stated she is waiting to put forward her plan for the next "once in a lifetime" vote on their "independence".
  11. And why do you think Cameron offered the referendum, anything to with the growing popularity of Ukip possibly, 52% said they want independence remember. I could put up some info re other member states feelings towards the EU but no doubt they wont suit you so a pointless discussion! Talking out my ass, no dude, you just dont like being pulled up on your ridiculous sweeping statements
  12. Why wouldnt they want to trade with us? We are/were the 2nd largest economy in the EU, 5th in the World, do people honestly think we wont survive without suckling at the eu teat and if they have agreed free trade deal with the eu, no reason why we cant follow suit. You do realise which country you have set up a very successful business dont you?
  13. I agree about context, so that isnt the whole continent scratching their heads trying to understand the leave vote as you said earlier, its funny how so many times in this country we are chastised for not listening, condemning or ignoring minorities but when it comes to a minority people dont agree with, it is dulled down and insignificant, listen to the minority banging on in this thread, you cant have it both ways! It is early days with uprisings against the eu establishment and the uk has been the first to pull the pin, i would bet my left nut once we are finally done (whichever way that may be except revoking article 50) you will see a momentum from those minorities who want their voice heard about their contempt for the Eu.
  14. no sh*t As JRM told the labour representative at the brexit debate, if you want to be in government, win an election
  15. Personally i wouldnt waste the extra expense on 888's just for the drag/street strip, just go nankang ar1's.
  16. I guess as a Labour supporter you are all to familiar with no confidence votes against your leader
  17. I must admit i agree, never really struggled with the boot size in the VX220, it was enough for a helmet and bag of clothes to last a week or so, how much further you realistically going to go in one. A mate of mine went touring in France in an Atom, he just travelled light! I suppose coming from bikes where a tank bank and rucksack was about as good as it got, luggage space has never been a thought. Regarding manual option i would presume with such a low volume production it was one or the other, whilst i am sure they could have just used the gearbox from a Guiletta it would have increased production costs to have a different production line for the alterations necessary. There is rumour of a new 4c (or so the salesman told me), so maybe this was a trial run and the next version will be a better version with that manual option, but maybe the low sales havent encouraged them to forge ahead or maybe not if this is anything to go by! https://www.evo.co.uk/alfa-romeo/4c/20544/alfa-romeo-mulls-4c-replacement-and-a-new-giulietta or https://www.autocar.co.uk/car-news/new-cars/alfa-romeo-4c-coupe-future-uncertain
  18. I would imagine the TT is probably the best selling coupe of recent years.
  19. Looks pretty good, doesnt pull it off as well as the FT1 though, headlights look big and bulky in comparison and i prefer the curvier accents on the FT1 front rather than the aggressive cut outs but i suppose that is the modern trend. I think though in the right colour and in the flesh it will be pretty nice though!
  20. I think the question has to be asked, why would she want the job, it surely has to be the most challenging time to be a pm since probably the world wars, but she is hanging in there, much respect, i think i would probably have said, f*ck the lot of ya a long time ago
  21. I was asked elsewhere in this thread, how can i possibly know what people voted were thinking and i had used that to justify my argument, even though i only said perhaps thats why they voted that way. You have been quite vocal about why people voted to leave, its just conjecture. I was also told that made my argument invalid you do make some very good points and arguments about the benefits of the eu so i wouldnt dare say that to you Simply untrue, France with LePen was angling towards their own referendum and she had quite a following and plenty of mutterings coming from Italy, Poland and others about having their own referendum.
  22. That is just the flat red, not competizione and agree, it has to be teledials for wheels!
  23. I ran a few different set ups on my supercharged zed @ 400hp and never struggled for grip on 275 rear, except on the wet days, are we talking from a standing start or rolling?
  24. The two reds are worlds apart, one is a flat red, one is a three stage metallic similar to the 8c and no they wont pay premium but it will likely be more desirable but an absolute b*tch to match should you damage it, by putting luggage on the back
