  1. Good shout, didnt realise they had dropped down into the 30's
  2. I would imagine the Aston has got be pushing a similar price to the R8 ? Masareti Grantourismo Lotus Elise (if you dont like stripped out not sure you will like the Elise) E92 M3 or newer M car A45 Amg or C63 Amg Audi Rs4 or Rs3
  3. Having been on here and the Gtr forum a fair bit and seen various complaints levelled at Nissan GB, I can safely say, they wont take any accountability or ownership, from what i can gather Nissan GB are pretty unless and as mentioned can you categorically prove your car has 5 times less scratches than one without? If logically you know thats impossible to prove, which it is, you are just going to get yourself more wound up, waste more time and still have swirls on your pride and joy. Get it detailed, employ good washing techniques, enjoy your car and when it comes to sale time, you have a £500 option you can list that hopefully someone else will fall for, said in the nicest possible way. I would also personally keep it off the web, I think it looks unprofessional when you jump onto youtube to air your problems and will have quite the opposite reaction from Nissan if you think they will react more favourably because of "bad press"
  4. The irony is its been happening for years and we all know all it, Google, Starbucks, Amazon, Vodaphone, Apple, Gap etc etc etc all have their companies registered in Ireland, Luxemborg or wherever to avoid tax bills and this is no different, its called tax avoidance or a dutch sandwich, just so happens they now have a great get out clause to blame it on. On the up side though, some good news for Torqen and the impending doom for his business, the answer is above
  5. Just from a completely neutral prospective and playing devils advocate on behalf of Nissan, how can you prove it hasnt worked and stopped the scratches you now cant see as they have healed, as it says, it doesnt prevent scratches, just its 5 times better than one without, again can you prove your car has five times less scratches? You may well have been sold a dud product, but unless you enjoy going from pillar to post and wasting your time just give up on it, draw a line under it, get the car professionally detailed, scratch resistant coating doesnt work is about the only exercise you will learn from this as well as proper washing techniques to avoid swirl marks, particularly on black paint. If you genuinely think you have been mis sold a product by Nissan, i suggest you take it up with Nissan GB first and if you still dont agree (because they wont care), seek legal advise, but bear in my mind the above, you will be asked to prove your findings through professional reports and being that the bodyshops have already said, they have never heard of it, you will be into a lengthy and costly battle.
  6. ^^^ This I have to say i have never known a car forum for such a hysteria around tyres and if you choose anything but Michelin you are going to end up in a ditch/field on the roof and on fire of course they have their merits and advantages i am definitely not saying all are equal before anyone gets excited. I had Nankang NS2R's on my supercharged 350 (preferred to spend the money on sticky track tyres were it was warranted) and i am here to tell the tale, i never suffered with lack of grip so long as they were warmed up and wet grip was adequate enough to quite comfortably travel at the speed limit on pretty much any road and they were predictable enough to let you know you were reaching the limit without anything untoward happening. I would bet my left nut 96.5% of people on here wouldnt know what was underneath them if they got into the car on the road without looking
  7. Op have you tried the various tyre sites like tyreleader, oponeo etc, you may well find your budget might stretch further but so long as you appreciate the limitations of those tyres you will be fine
  8. Re Dyson, no job losses and continued investment into the UK is the actual news
  9. I thought exactly this too.....until i discussed my planning application with 5 neighbours before submitting it to the council to see if they had any concerns or objections, none did, the moment it went in, one complained, it was refused so i went to them again and suggested i was going to amend the plans and resubmit and now was the time to highlight any issues or concerns, she didnt and complained again. The plans were approved though and she hasnt spoke to me since, the upside is any objections have to be valid and detrimental to be upheld in most cases, loss of light etc, so imho now, f*** em. I wouldnt bother trying to communicate Stu, the council will only uphold any valid claims anyway, you may need to get a structural engineers report on said wall or even have to follow their measures if they do recommend a course of action for its integrity, it may be best to get that report now and submit it with your application dismissing his complaint, rather than them "possibly" refusing in the first instance and requiring you get that report for them to grant approval. The planning department love info, if a qualified professional confirms its fine or makes a recommendation, job done, complaint answered and ignored!
  10. You might not like it if you drove it, so I would grab the opportunity and get that test drive, same goes for a M2, you can watch all the reviews in the world but ultimately it will come down to which you prefer to drive in most cases, so whether its now or later in the year that your in a position to buy, start narrowing the list down and when it comes to pulling the pin, your primed to know what your going for or at least between a couple of contenders.
  11. Hardly imaginative either, original spoiler and wonder how many noticed the single exit exhaust like the mk4, do you reckon a mk4 owner did it and now thinks its perfect
  12. I think this is the common misconception with gtr's, that they drive themselves, whilst they may be easier to drive faster than others with the clever systems on board you still need to know what your doing behind the wheel and no amount of electronics will save you from being totally ham fisted or way out of your depth like the above.
  13. They are all Gr Supras, his will be an a90 ltd run which is only different in colour and detailing, no more power, no chassis changes. All new models are designated GR Supra.
  14. my vote was never placed to f*** up the EU if thats what your asking, what a twisted view, however would i prefer the UK to prosper over the EU, of course, wouldnt you, but as above with the engine analogy i would be quite happy to stay in the Eu with some fine tuning, have a read on how Mr Junker was elected if you want a clue. But i cant get on this media hysteria that the Eu hold all cards to our future, let me refer you back to George Osbourne who claimed we would be in immediate recession, employment would rise by half a million on triggering of article 50 and many other fear tactics, it hasnt, the economy has risen, employment at its lowest for years, its all just about who you want to believe, which hopefully also answers Torqens usual rhetoric about how sh*t this country is, you will still be running your successful business (yes we can all view companies house records should we desire) in years still banging on about how sh*t this country is, frankly its tiresome, boring and simply not true (as above), however i fully agree attention is needed to policing/nhs/education and most likely when we know where we are those areas will be addressed by whatever government P.s you not heard of crossrail if you are mentioning no major infrastructure. Do i care if the "Eu" fails though Stevo, absolutely not!
  15. So if we do leave with no deal and if we look to be fairing ok, do you think others would follow?
  16. Absolutely a business would negotiate the best deal they can but purely theoretical question on that, you dont believe if a deal offered between business's was declined (which it has in this case) "they" would concede further for their own interests/business? I suggest thats cutting off your nose to spite your face and not business in any shape or form. Bearing in mind it doesnt seem the bulk of it is not widely accepted, its not like "we" are asking for completely different terms or benefits, 1 issue (although complicated) that seems to need further resolution which might just get it done and agreed in law. You would personal think both "business's" would be all over that Andy above, Maggz and others have said it, the EU are setting president to try to stamp out the rot and keep their dream alive, its way beyond just business agreements, we are the scapegoats and if we leave without a deal and if we look to be surviving and getting on forging new deals under wto, others will follow sometime down the line. I can see this rolling and rolling, what if Italy, Poland or anyone else wants out or Scotland want out of the UK, we are forever more going to be discussing borders.
  17. Or the unions and their designated puppet, ring any bells
  18. A good analogy and to tweak it slightly its a perfect description of the current Eu imho, it needs some oil or it will break, the problem is the people who run that engine wont top it up, they are convinced that engine will run forever no matter what poor mods they throw at it and some of the major components are near breaking point, maybe even swap out some of the duff components that are just costing money. A good service and decent map could see that engine running for years.
  19. Sputnik news of course As i said many sources, none which you would recognise as it doesnt suit, i think the "ignore" button is going to be put to good use on here too But go on, you can entertain me with some tin foil hat nonsense to discredit the link: https://www.businessinsider.com/germany-and-italy-recessions-as-european-economy-slumps-2019-1?r=US&IR=T
  20. You mean the ones that voted us into the single market before you were even born, how dare they have a vote and say again We are f***** anyway according to you, it cant get any worse can it Late edit to yours: perfectly calm thanks, just responding to your hysteria *tongue in cheek of course
  21. Not what the remaoners and even you keep telling us on this thread, apparently they hold all the cards, maybe not......
  22. Doesnt look like the EU is doing Germany & France much good as according to many sources they are both on the brink of recession.
  23. The Supra is the GR Supra, there is no difference Which one are you talking about?
  24. Sorry this does make me chuckle, 498 mp's voted to trigger article 50 to say we are LEAVING the EU on the 29th March (a bigger majority than last evening), the odd name thrown in to try and pinpoint blame is fanciful, blame those 498 mps who voted overwhelmingly in majority to trigger article 50.
