  1. I think there have been a couple of 350z owners who used their strut brace, presumably we are talking the same on the 370z. Personally I would want something designed for the job and get a proper harness bar.
  2. If you got £50k you can in a heartbeat Or buy a 370z convertible and put a Nismo kit and Ford RS badge on for half the price https://www.motortrend.com/news/hotter-nissan-370z-nismo-rs-teased/ https://www.meinauto.de/news/nissan-370z-rs-roadster-als-nismo-sondermodell
  3. Its not about a part vs part cost, but for production you would need different tooling, wiring looms, mounts, even initial development etc etc, so on a small scale limited numbers its just not worth offering both.
  4. From what i have been reading (and probably the same for the 4c) if they had a manual option the overall showroom price would be even higher, i really cant see many cars being rolled out with manuals anymore, its low down the spec list if it is an option these days and you can perhaps blame the US for that, in 2016 only 3% of all cars sold were manuals, i know its different over here, but if your making a low volume sports car the US is the area you will be targeting.
  5. Apologies i thought you were lumping them all together. Anyway on wards and upwards, i watched a good few video reviews of the A110 last night, all pretty positive about how it drives etc and was mostly compared to the 4c (and Cayman of course), personally i think its good to see a couple of cars in the market place as an alternative to the Cayman and whilst neither can perhaps match the overall package, i would be pretty happy with either over a Cayman. Whats other peoples thoughts out of the three?
  6. I thought that was French according to your reasoning?
  7. Its nothing to do with rebranding, its an Alpine: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alpine_(automobile)
  8. ^^^ Lovely alloys, but imho mix it up with the calipers, make them stand out from the wheels and vice versa, gold calipers would look superb behind those!
  9. I am sure you know this and perhaps this is where the problem is, its not a Renault, its an Alpine! No different to Infinti/Nissan, Lexus/Toyota, even Bentley/VW, if people can get away from the Renault thing does £50k seem a lot these days?
  10. Ah I see, I presumed it was just Renault, didnt realise it was dedicated specialist dealer centres only. Wow, just looked at the list, not many is there!!!!
  11. Funnily enough I saw an original A110 last year (2018) at a rally event my mate was doing, it was absolutely tiny, so I guess this is in keeping, although side by side I bet the new one looks huge. Much like the new Supra I am looking forward to seeing one in the flesh, I love the look of the front, but not convinced about the rear, I dont think it works as well as the original in that regard.

  13. I have had a few mates with Continentals and they have been faultless, dont get me wrong i am sure they are costly to fix at main dealers but i am guessing there must be decent indies a lot like anything else. Worth a bit of research imho.
  14. I recognise that wheel style, but cant put my finger on what they are, definitely not Nismo though. So think you will struggle to find a replacement in the right width, size and offset, whats wrong with the one that needs replacement? Brakes pads from pretty much anywhere, just make sure as said you get the jdm brake pads, NOT brembo ones as they are a completely different caliper, take a pad to euro car parts and reg number and they will have them on the shelf.
  15. Bentley Continental GT, the ultimate wafter and will go like a stabbed rat should you desire, way more luxurious than anything ever! Close the thread
  16. They only did one dark blue which was Montego blue, a metallic with a touch of green in it pending which angle you looked, quite a rare colour, similar to midnight blue in appearance? As per the help with the Vx, pm me if you want to know anything mate
  17. ^^ still reserving judgement but I would agree, becoming less enthusiastic about it, I keep saying it but the ft1 looked stunning and whilst this is obviously based closely to it, its not nearly as nice, shorter/higher/more acute angles/not as wide looking.
  18. I was never aware Nismo made sports cats, but would imagine they are a very expensive way of doing it if they were made, without any real advantage over any other sports cat, just go for berks, cobra etc. What info/spec you after?
  19. You might have sports cats or silenced decats, which will be difficult to determine from just a pic, try to see if there are any brands marked on them. If you want the simplest solution just follow Ekonas advise and buy a std cat back exhaust and swap for trackdays. A lot depends on your current cat set up before more sound advise can be offered.
  20. I must admit I really enjoyed my 350z, but when I swapped for a v3 supercharged, it was another level, made a great car a fantastic car. Enjoy
  21. Good plan, if they are go up in value, the std ones will be the ones fetching the money
  22. Been a while since i looked but unless they have doubled in value, i would think so
