  1. Man points awarded for "considering" a bold colour. Considerable man points lost for choosing sh*t brown interior
  2. If you want stance, go airbags or bc extra low coilovers
  3. I wont disagree at all Stu, i cant believe a man of your intellect actually believes the majority of students voted for Labour for their manifesto, a sudden interest in politics and voting when they said they would scrap uni fees, they even stereotyped themselves by saying as much on social media . As much as the "bus" was marketing genius (quoting Ekona), win the youth vote by scraping uni fees was equally as good.
  4. The young voters vote was a pretty easy one to win, scrap uni fees, job done votes won!
  5. You wont find too much problem with those widths and offsets, they are pretty tame, go as low as you like
  6. Course not, if we are out which is what the majority voted for, we have control If making a deal means not in control, its not for me A club is a good reference and if using that analogy i have been a member of a few clubs, in some cases the politics of said club ruins the benefits, in which case i have left and joined another club and whilst that club perhaps doesnt offer as good as benefits and facilities its still a much nicer place to be because its void of politics
  7. Funny how the remainers jump to that bus and tell all us stupid brexiters what it meant and how we read it and we were scammed and lied too, did you stop to think for one second maybe we didnt interpret or read it wrong and knew exactly what it meant?? The answer is no of course you didnt, but of course you will want to tell me thats what i and others believed otherwise you just cant seem to get your head around why people voted out, perhaps the most important words to Brexiters were at the bottom LETS TAKE BACK CONTROL Shame it doesnt seem like its turning out like that.........at the moment
  8. Its nothing about standards, no one ever knew how the deal would go, but now everyone has shown their hands, so its very easy for JC to sit there and criticise TM's deal/agreement but i would like to see him do better, he wont and he knows that, he is just playing party politics
  9. Oh that would be fun, i would love to hear what deal Labour plans to get on the agreement, rather than just disagree with anything TM has done Probably just some more fairyland promises of a never ending pot of gold to pump into the machine, abolish uni fees etc etc
  10. It gets worse, just seen on the news the eu court of justice has met to see if the UK can legally change its decision to leave the EU
  11. I dont think it would, i reckon most would still vote out and no deal, not sure any brexiter would vote for that deal/agreement,
  12. True enough, so if another referendum does come it has to be in or out (again)
  13. I saw this on another forum and thought, actually not a bad idea, if parliament block the deal/agreement and much as i am against another referendum, if it were to happen this is what we should vote on, whats your thoughts: - Leave no deal- Remain as before- Leave on current deal
  14. Of course not, however, i did expect the government to do a much much better job, not call an election and make a complete cluster f**k of it all. Sure we could never expect to get everything we wanted out of the EU, but a strong government with decent support (which it had) and some decent negotiators would have sure helped imho I was always happy with the hard road, not some weak attempt at appeasing both the yes, no's and the EU.
  15. The referendum was in or out, you cant lay the foot of blame at the politicians we voted that way and as you said Col it could have been a masterpiece by TM to remain tied to the EU with her deal being a staunch remainer, who knows? But that was not what the majority voted for, as Ekona rightly points out, do you want to end up like Scotland, we voted out and out it should mean! What happens if we have another referendum and the vote is still out, what happens if remainers win, do we have another because its one all, its not best two out of three! I watched an interview with Junker on the news this morning, he was asked if he was punishing the EU for leaving, he said he had the uttermost respect for the majority decision, we were not being punished and a better deal could not be done, the deal was the deal and you think are politicians are bad, they are all full of sh*t and their own agenda, of course they could do a better deal if they wanted. This is only going to whip up more a frenzy of anger towards the EU with the Brexiters and make their resolve stronger, personally its a no win for anyone now, all the parties are split, the country is split and Eu or no Eu, i dont much like the look of the future!
  16. Good lord, cant we do anything without having to agree with someone else in the future
  17. I dont think either the 1 series or 1m is a great looking car, but not unappealing, i have always thought the FN civics look like a trainer
  18. This, whilst i dont mind it too much, i just think if you want a car that looks like another car, go buy one!
  19. Absolutely, but is that directly as a result of being in the EU? Of course as a remainer you will say yes, but as i asked elsewhere with regards to the wars, would it have been any different if we had an EU army, i would bet my left nut presented with such info an EU army would have trotted off to Iran/Iraq. I have never debated the economic benefits of having a single market and the opportunities it presents, but sadly i cant just simply believe just simply believe we wouldnt have a decent economy if we hadnt joined, it would just be under different agreements. I appreciate your interest and business relations with the EU member states, so if the shoe was on the other foot and you were a fisherman, would you still be so pro eu, of course not, i dont know you and dont really know any fishermen, but hardly equality if their income is being sold down the river (excuse the pun), so what % does your industry contribute to the UK economy?
  20. Its very easy to highlight an industry that was known to be utterly foul to work in but the HSE and the EU were nothing all to do with the mines shutting down, they just werent profitable because of competition from European mines, the Unions and a sway to alternative future fuels at the time (gas, oil etc) I dont think Bullet is suggesting the above for anyone minute, but i suppose its a great example to jump on to try to dismiss the UK once being great and having industry @Maggz, its tragic to hear of your youth and family loses, but you can applaud yourself or your parents for choosing to better your lives somewhere else. Out of all the European countries you chose the UK, why not Germany, France, Spain etc, presumably for the opportunities this country offered you, not the EU.
  21. Fair comments Well from my prospective agree or disagree the recent events have confirmed why i voted to leave, i placed my vote to a government who offered what i wanted and policies i agreed with, they havent delivered (yet), at the next election my vote will be changed (for what little its worth) and..... Apart from a few elected mep's we have 0 control over Brussels, they have seen and for political correctness sake, roughly 50% of the UK population vote against them, they care not about me and that 50% and we have no way to alter that, this is the exact reason i did not want to be a part of the EU. On the flip side, i really do hope the Brexiters dont start protesting and calling for another referendum, its done, let sleeping dogs like
  22. Furthering my last post , if it doesnt get the vote in Parliament, do you think the EU would start getting a little tetchy and offer some more concessions? Yes i get hard brexit and not asking what is the worse that can happen to us, apologies, i was asking, if we left on that basis, would other countries considering their membership and think whats the worst that can happen the Eu couldnt force the UK to a deal they cant with us?
  23. Very true, so if and its a huge if, its thrown out in parliament and we go no deal (highly unlikely of course) would this then pave the way for the fringe eu countries who have been thinking of going to the vote think, attack while the iron is out, whats the worst that can happen? Found this quite interesting: https://yougov.co.uk/topics/politics/articles-reports/2018/11/16/7-more-things-weve-learned-about-public-opinion-br
  24. Seeing as TM hasnt delivered on any of her promises, end of free movement, customs union etc etc unless she is out by the next election i cant see Cons going anywhere, i certainly wont be voting for them or more so, her. I also notice in the agreement at one point, it says the EU recognises the UK as an independent state, i think that says it all
  25. Wise words as ever however much our views might differ Whilst i have no vested interest or wish for a no deal as i think that would cause carnage, i wonder what would happen if parliament voted it down, not that i think they will.
