  1. You could be very right Could get very interesting from here i hope Corbyn is ready to be prime minister
  2. https://my350z.com/forum/exterior-and-interior/163848-evo-r-10000mcd-z4-style-led-side-markers.html
  3. I think you have a light fetish like the wheels, you cant beat a polished lip
  4. Looks like the remainers did win the vote, ah well, least it still gives Ukip a reason to exist
  5. ^^^^ So its suitable to have faith in the EU, but not our own government? To turn your question round. I totally agree with Doc re the wars we got involved in and shouldnt have, but would it have been any different if we were part of an EU army, i doubt it, the threat seemed credible at the time (iran and iraq) and presented with the same information (read lies) re wmd i cant see the EU would have thought any different, the UK and US werent the only ones sending troops over to both wars. Personally whatever you think of Trump i cannot believe the US would stand by and watch if Russia started steam rolling their way through Europe as eventually if successful they would have designs on the US too.
  6. And therein lies the rub, you dismiss everything that doesnt fall in line with your view as non credible, as said elsewhere and re the "discussion/debate", no one is ever going to post anything from a source you believe to be credible, because you dont believe it and every source you to believe credible are pro eu, so no one can ever counter your arguments, surely you can see that, no one wins and no one is wanting to win, just putting their side and views forward. Please stop being so critical or this thread will soon be locked and as op, i will ask for it to be, eu or not eu has been done to death on here, just looking for some rational debate on recent events as per the first thread.
  7. You seriously need to stop being so condescending to people, his view and opinion is as valid as yours and tbf, he seems perfectly calm, he just added a link.
  8. Just spit balling: What about if its a war we dont want to get involved in? How much is this army going to cost us when we have a perfectly good one anyway, in fact, an exceedingly good one? Who would be in charge of the ultimate decisions, majority vote from the countries leaders or Brussels
  9. As mentioned above, i think its pretty clear if not looked into at the time that it is certainly recognised now that info was misleading, yet still the vote (according to polls only) hovers around a small minority, i would be interested in your take on that, as to the voting public it doesnt seem to be that much of a deal that others are clinging too? Why is it assumed that the same legislation wouldnt have been followed by whichever UK government at the time and to be in line with the EU anyway even if we werent a member state? There has been a couple of mentions about the EU army Bullet, i just dont believe anyone suspects it to actually happen to pay it any homage, but i wouldnt put it past them.
  10. No bad thing, Labour seem to have done pretty well from similar upsets and party politics surrounding their leader last year. Sorry to cherry pick, a good political post as ever
  11. And yet as pointed out, according to polls after the "the deal", its still a near 50/50 split, so either near 50% doesnt care it was lied too, taken advantage of and given false data, they didnt believe the rhetoric and werent actually convinced of it in the first place and really did want to leave the EU regardless or they are utter morons or its a whole load of nonsense and far from factual that people voted that way because its just what you want to believe to justify the decision. You just have to accept, roughly half the country (nothing to do with yours or my views), dont want to part of the EU at this very moment in time.
  12. Likewise Dude you wont get me to agree with you and vice versa, as said i have no problem with your view and i am not trying to persuade you otherwise, the problem is you believe you are right and i am wrong, its 50/50 ish across the country its utterly arrogant to think 50% of the population is/were/are wrong.
  13. @Maggz, i wont bother to quote you in reply, its pretty clear from your posts you will not and do not accept Brexit or the vote/voters and i have absolutely no problem with that, we are all entitled to our choice/views and guessing from your comment to Ekona with regards to dictators you have experience with that so appreciate your stand point further. I am afraid to say that i also dont believe someone with such strong pro eu views you would except the next vote if it didnt still didnt go your way. You would once again get caught up in the media frenzy of dismissing the voters as racist/xenophobic/scammed and all the other stuff you mention plus funding, broken laws etc, if that referendum was truly illegal you can be dam sure it would have been nullified by the remainers.
  14. You are equally as guilty as those very people you condemn above by believing the press propaganda that the majority voted by being scammed. I dont doubt a few did fall hook line and sinker, i am not naive but as Ekona says, it went both ways. We are not ignoring what the majority wants, they wanted to leave and as i asked Marzman, what do we do keep doing voting until everyone is happy or there is a definitive majority (which will never happen), as mention after "the deal" the polls suggest a 54 to 46 (and we know the polls can be wrong, based on before and the same number voting, thats only another half a million people above the majority last time, is that enough of a majority to be definitive in your eyes, no matter what you "want" to believe, its just not the case, the country is still very much roughly divided on this one.
  15. Great add, i think that dude is ace If the voting system in your words was not definitive on such massive issues, i presume this time round you would want it definitive, so 75% majority, what if it wasnt, would we vote again and again and again? The polls suggest a swing towards remain this time, but only by 2% over the winning margin last time. hardly definitive and to be fair, the polls got it wrong last time. I think the only vote we should have now is, this deal or no deal personally!
  16. Or send it back as "not fit for purpose", i would have thought the gloss clear would give you the uv protection you need, what about the product you put on headlights that stop them yellowing, the man above will advise on that one?
  17. Dont forget Poland in there too...... Thats the interesting point now, hindsight is a wonderful thing and i would assume after seeing our attempts if any other member states go to the vote they pretty much know, if they want "out out", thats its, no deals, so will be a pretty clear vote for whatever country.
  18. I really cant be bothered for this thread to descend into the previous Brexit thread where we all argue and condemn each other for the way we cast our votes. I voted leave, i personally really dont care if you like it or think its valid or justified However i am interested in peoples thoughts as per the first post, if it can be kept on topic great, if not please feel free to lock it down mods.
  19. Unfortunately Adrian you dont ever seem to able be say anything for yourself, just post links to things you think are clever etc If you dont have anything to say yourself, like the last Brexit thread, i would suggest saying nothing at all, i was hoping for some sensible comments/thoughts on the topics raised. No and funnily enough this whole episode is exactly why i wanted to part ways from the EU, i think it just goes to show how much power the EU has over us when we cant even get close to what "we" want. However futile my vote has been, i still wouldnt change my decision. Doc speaks well as ever, i have no problem with the single market and the benefits that brings, the problem is the politics that go with it imho, I actually dont believe either the EU or the government thought it would ever happen, perhaps if either did, there would have been a much better deal sorted when Cameron sat down to negotiate our "terms" of membership, its pretty clear they have TM and the UK over a barrel and know it. The EU fishing quotas are an absolute farce Doc, throwing dead fish back into the sea because youve met your quota???
  20. So a dangerous and emotive subject, but with an alleged deal on the table, whats peoples thoughts? Could or should TM (or any other politician) have got a better deal Should we have another referendum Should parliament back her Should she resign Should we have another election And a last question, what do folk think about the unrest in Italy and Poland about whether they want to have a referendum?
  21. Stating the obvious, something is obviously draining your battery, or an alternator fault not charging it, any reason you didnt charge the battery and bought new? Check volts at the battery when running, should be about 14 volts ish. Disconnect battery when you leave it, if all ok when you reconnect its probably one of the usual culprits, alarm, courtesy light staying on, stereo, just have to work your way through which one.
  22. I was under the impression that gel coat has no uv protectors in (from working in the boat industry), but lacquer does, but that contradicts the people in the know above. Every year most owners "cut back" their hulls to get rid of the milky haze. I have also had carbon products clear coated, never had issues so long as its been prepped well.
  23. I guess thats the very question of why they have come to be, but when you have carbon and magnesium, can you get much lighter, or is it a cost thing?
  24. Best bet is to get Harrys Lap Timer app, it also can do video, however most track days dont like timing equipment so keep it on the video screen till you are back in where you can view the data.
