I find one of the problems these days is people seem to have lost the ability to overtake, so you just the queues forming behind a slower car.

Its like revisiting pistonheads before the launch: It hasnt got enough hp yes it has no it hasnt, needs fi your wrong, its a drivers cars, you dont need more power no i am not i want more power but then its not a drivers car Repeat and repeat Personally i think Toyota would have sold more if it had a few more ponies and when the prices get lower will the tuner car of choice as lets face it, there isnt anything else thats come out of Japan for the last few years.

If people are generally slow it is quite frustrating, but i despise those drivers who sit an inch of your bumper on a straight, but come a corner they are nowhere to be seen when you come out of the bend, only to then accelerate up to your chuff again, repeat process at every bend.

Those Neo 25's are a very very good engine

I think its universal and sometimes the strangest things trying to "race" (vans etc), i have also had the focus st, i saw the dad say something to his son in the passenger seat, the lad then turned round to look and with that the dad floored it. I must admit i do enjoy it when they are trying to impress their girlfriends.......

In a no means condescending fashion, whatever your budget it is, double it, have a chat with Ian who was well into the process of a Supra conversion or Wasso with his V8, they might be able to highlight some of the costs you just wont think about

It will end up costing you way more than £10k, body kit, buy, fit and paint would add up to that (if not more) from your budget of £7-£8k, lmgt4's £1500, nismo exhaust £800. Good luck with your search but if thats what your after, that one linked is a prospective bargain and at £10k with all those goodies, they may even take an offer

£20k plus price tag

Welcome Many will be quick to tell you, real Nismo variants will cost you and arm and a leg and there are only maybe 2 or 3 in the country, they are very different to the std gt that was offered with a Nismo bodykit from UK dealers. Hope that helps.

Not according to wiki (not that i would necessarily believe that site) or any other info on the web, seems like 04 earliest, but maybe they were available to the jdm market first?

Well i guess all you can say is, least its being used, we see far too many nice cars languishing in collections. Strange driving however, to just accelerate into the wall, maybe he was trying to kick the back out to get round?

There have been a couple up as trade deals this year, but not sure i would trust someone who just p/ex's a fi zed to a dealer, your better off knowing the history from a members car, but thats just me. Price yours right and it will sell, perhaps just advertise on here as that may avoid the usual ebay low ballers and time wasters, having said that i sold my first one on ebay for more than i advertised on here ironically. Keep your eye on classifieds, i had never even thought about owning a vx220 and just by chance i saw one and it really sparked my interest so you never know what you may see that gets the juices flowing, good luck

I am afraid to say, there isnt a chance in hell i would spend 20k on a 350z. That's absolutely fair, but what could you, or would you get for 20k instead? I really can't think of anything I'd prefer until you get up to £40k to be honest. Dont get me wrong, i agree in principal, when i had my fi zed i really had no intention of changing as i was the same, there was nothing i wanted sub £35k, so i am not going to say, buy this or that as there is loads available for sub £20k and no matter how much i loved it and if even if i had £20k budget, i still wouldnt pay that for something that can be bought for roughly half. I fully appreciate the journey can be half the fun though and if you can afford to loose £10k go for it, but just think that is 25% of the money away from where you need or want to be (40k), so if your goal is own a fi 350 just go buy one and put that money aside for your £40k goal, if your goal is to enjoy the journey, get spending

You will be lucky on the 7twenty buddy, they are a pretty new model and only know one 350 with them on, think they are only circa £750 new though

Stillen may "claim" that increase in a best possible case scenario, but "proven" is a completely different kettle of fish, i would bet my left nut no one in this country has a "proven" increase of 12-18hp from a Stillen intake alone!

You could buy one done for circa £11k which in my mind represents good value for money, all from experience of buying and owning one. Yeah sure you may want to put your own touches to it but you wont get close to 20k unless you start adding rocket bunny kits etc. I am afraid to say, there isnt a chance in hell i would spend 20k on a 350z.

Apart from 500 prm between 3k and 3.5k where the v3 looses maybe 25flt tops, the v3 is the same and better after 3k. I am afraid i would be very dubious that adding hfc's over decats would gain him 60hp, if anything it should be the other way round, it must have been mapped to give 338hp
