  1. Considering the age of a 370z I would doubt it will make any noticeable difference, in truth, it made no noticeable difference in my 350z.
  2. Stating the obvious, its going to be a totally different driving experience coming from a fwd hot hatch to rwd sports coupe, dare I say far more rewarding, but if its outright speed your concerned about, stick with your Civic.
  3. Just joined the club, bought an 06 highway star in black, 130k kms, 6-8 week delivery will get some photos up soon
  4. I ran a true dual HKS, not the same as type as the Japspeed copies, it was very similar to Invidia, i used Berks HFC's without issue and was what i consider quiet, got the noise board at Bedford which is 98db drive by, pretty much the strictest circuit in the country. Andy James runs a Milltek on a 500+ forged so no issue there either
  5. ^^ Same as i said above, just buy a decent size k&n filter with the right inlet and you will be pleased as punch!
  6. If you put that the other way round, price, easiness and asthetics youve described plastidip perfectly If you want asthetics first, vinyl wrap is a much better choice and unless you have two left hands, a roof panel will be fairly easy with some patience. I wouldnt do wheels though, so maybe dip will be the better option.
  7. ^^^ Glad someone mentions the LFA. Lamborghini Sesto Elemento Pagani Zonda R and Clubsport Merc G55 P1 Rx7 with a triple rotor Maybach Hakosuka Ferrari F12
  8. I was under the impression that was one of its key points, hence the skinny tyres! But you have to want it to go sideways. It doesn't just slide around all over the place. Yeah sure, but thats the same as any car surely, i wasnt suggesting it was tail happy (ala old capris), but it was easy to get the back out because of its tyre set up.

  10. ^^^ I am with Doc on this. If you want something thats going to offer a better feel due to weight and chassis i get it the reason to change, although in reality as above, how often you get to do that is a different story. If its just to keep you in "legal" territory, i think you will be very bored very quickly and still be pushing the envelope as much as a 350.
  11. It is really worth taking into account if you cant afford to do £10k in depreciation, as mentioned you could buy a 2nd hand whatever and loose nothing like that, its not like we are talking a new model where there is no 2nd hand option.
  12. The aerial on a 350z is powered, sure the positive supply is connected, some of the iso connectors seem to miss it off, had the same on a generic chinese unit with reception issues, it wasnt till I checked the iso and the positive supply was missing.
  13. Personally I would install an electric underfloor heating mat more for control, I.e can set temp/timer for frost protection etc and then some additional space heater if you want to get it toasty and work in there, you would need to tile over however, but no big deal and makes it more plush.
  14. Dont get hung up on low miles, it bears no relation to condition or value, i have had two 350z now, one with circa 55k and one with 75k, the higher miler drove and felt felt far stronger.
  15. Give a nudge tomorrow as need to upload to photobucket
  16. Think I may have one or two, will try and get them up later.
  17. Or if you fancy something a little more sporty looking, how about the Z4 with the same engine. Golf is also a good shout or again if you fancy a different wrapper, a Sirroco. Got to be honest, a Fiesta wouldnt even get a look in with any of your boxes with the above available.
  18. Same as snjur, bought one from ebay and it was awful, but admittedly very cheap, so if you go down the ebay route dont get the cheapest.
  19. Actually, irrespective of your choices, i would go for a 135i, fits all those boxes very nicely
  20. So out of those 4 choices, which boxes would you want ticking in order of priority.
  21. Netherlands, French and German elections soon, i hope you lot are sitting down or ready at the keyboards, i reckon you're going to have a fair bit more to say about politics and "average" voters yet
  22. In a nutshell this is modern motoring, the only way imho to get out and enjoy a drive is to either get up at silly o clock in the summer or take it to the track, the only other alternative is to plan a driving holiday, europe, scotland or north wales and then you have to justify a car sitting there for the odd decent drive. I know there are many members who enjoy the show scene which is another great reason to enjoy the car, but if thats not your bag either, i dont see any reason why it would tick the boxes, apart from just ownership. So the harsh bit, its just a mass produced car, its not unique and if you ever feel you want back in, its not like your going to struggle to find one, so go experience some other cars, you might find something that suits you better or you might think you fancy another, so what have you lost?
