  1. Well no, reprofiled, retrimmed etc the choice is yours, nothing like a cover, but fill your boots if you think can achieve a similar look
  2. You should look no further than Jack Royal steering wheels, hopefully any thoughts of a "cover" will quickly dissappear
  3. Havent you told us all about "that stuff" in 99.9% of your threads already ? Shall i save you the trouble, you think its the best thing since sliced bread, the end
  4. It may well have to come from Japan if they are out of stock, but £420 is way off, paid just under £300 for mine from my local dealer, but i am miles from you so probably doesnt help, sorry.
  5. ^^^ Of course, just gets very tiresome hearing Tesla as soon as battery or electric mentioned
  6. But if Tesla could get their batteries down to under 2kg which this is, maybe they would be onto a winner
  7. I have spoken to the guy at Braille, really helpful guy who said sent it to him and he will see if he can revive it, so will give it a whirl before i get something else in its place.
  8. ^^^ If you think i would spend that on battery, of course the answer is yes i will buy you some new tyres

  10. Keep going, or if your bored will just say
  11. My favourite modern bug bear, usual response is to ask how else do you intend to pay, magic beans Its Mike Brewers fault, always talking CASH
  12. Audience is shouting higher......
  13. I thought this may provide a smile or two, i have just gone to replace my battery on my vx220 as it died in the cold, its a whizzy light weight one, without searching google, how much do you reckon?
  14. Says in the ad its a project car selling cheap and he has been honest about all the problems, if someone is daft enough to buy thinking a service will sort it, well you know what they say about a fool and their money. Not like he is trying to sell it as a decent car
  15. yeh i was thinking that Makes zero difference buddy, it will still need sanding, priming and painting, same as new.
  16. Sounds like a w brace to me, hardly a game changer, quite a few threads about rusty ones one here
  17. With no particular agenda, its funny how people view cars, the op doesnt want Audi/BMW because too "lifestyle" but is considering a Mustang, from a personal prospective thats the biggest "lifestyle" car in this thread
  18. Whilst i dont (hardly ever) agree with Ekona its all about the drive with these cars Nub, Bhp is just wasted bragging rights as in reality the extra 5-10 maybe even 20bhp you hope to gain will be irrelevant. He is only suggesting that maybe you may enjoy the car more (as the Op does) if you feel you can exploit its capabilities, rather than just straight line squirts. It doesnt mean you have to go racing around on the roads, just that you may feel more confident to use the chassis in a more dynamic way and perhaps once you get to feel that confidence, you may decide that to go faster or use that hp you have, a decent suspension set up will be make your quest for a very very mild increase in bhp seem totally redundant. Trust me, if you feel you can put that power down off a roundabout as you say you enjoy, 10 or 20 yards earlier, you will be off down the road quicker than the guy with 10 or 20bhp more. Food for thought imho
  19. Is it a simple process to dump all photos over?
  20. I wouldnt pay much attention to a reliability report that says Porsches worst car is a Boxster and best is a Cayman when apart from the roof they are the same car.
  21. Oh God lets hope not, dont want to end up with another non worthy winner or someone who won by default
  22. ^^^^ Why would go to the trouble of creating something so gorgeous and then roll that out Ok its not bad, but nothing like that FT1
  23. A 370Z isn't what I would consider a car old enough to be worried about it's age? Doesn't leave much left to be honest I presume the op is suggesting in relative terms, its an old design platform, knocking on 7 years now. Yep he really hasnt left much to choose from, i have said elsewhere, there really hasnt been anything of interest from the Japanese manufacturers for quite a few years now, discounting the GTR and perhaps 86 if thats your bag. I am hopefully Toyota produce that new Supra/FT1 (below), Mazda get back on track with a decent RX7 replacement and Honda a new S2000, but as time goes on, i really get the feeling most of the stuff out of Japan in the sports car department will be hybrids. Talking of Honda how about the Civic Type R?
