  1. Good to see a win for Rossi, proves his decsion to get rid of Burgess was a wise one, dont think it will be a regular thing though. Those Hondas just couldnt get the set up for the weekend, perhaps its just a bogey track for them?
  2. I understand everyone has the right to object to any planning application and may have personal views, but sometimes you wonder how anything gets done in this country and often its no surprise when it doesnt. There are plans for a artificially generated wave just outside Bristol, i have followed the planing application with a personal interest and read most of the 2000+ comments over the time. Some of the things people have to say is frankly laughable, some of them live 100's of miles away, have never visited the area and never will, but they still dont want it going ahead, i am sure its probably the same for this possible circuit. Personally i think if they made the above 2 ideas, as an example, easier to do, there would be a great deal more investment in the country But the red tape often just isnt worth the investment needed to get through it
  3. This was my understanding, otherwise you could buy a car, register It in a family member or friends name and be covered under your policy on any old piece of junk you get insured for cheap on.
  4. Great cars to be fair, but if you went down that route, stick with std twin turbo, cooling and breathing mods only, soon as you go down the single turbo route, it will bite you unless you are extremely lucky
  5. You dont half talk nonsense sometimes, civilian gps (sps) and military gps (pps) use exactly the same satellites, civilian operates on one frequency and military two so they can use "ionospheric correction" which reduces radio degradation through the earths atmosphere. Topography has nothing to do with it Civilian gps is getting more and more accurate year on year as they introduce new signals and frequencies
  6. I have known a couple of people getting done within the guide lines, one was a 34, one a 55. I cant remember his name but does anyone remember that chief constable in wales that was quoted as saying, straying just 1mph over the speed limit is no different to slipping a knife into someone?
  7. You cant even begin to imagine what its like............ By all accounts a big % of the jihadists that go over from here & Europe to "fight" come back straight to counselling because they cant cope with what they actually see, we have no idea what really goes on although we like to think we do
  8. Oh dear......not sure you even watched the videos you posted, they did not actively seek out individuals to kill! Whilst i dont perhaps agree we were at war for a number of reasons far beyond my or your knowledge, but lets assume Iraq was to get rid of Hussain and Afgan was to try to stamp out Taliban/BinLaden. But hey, lets chuck a couple of planes into the twin towers or set of a load of bombs on Londons public transport with commuters on or at night clubs in Bali, there is no mistake those people were INNOCENT and deliberately targeted, hell they were even 1000's of miles from the battleground and more so, if they werent such cowardly scum they wouldnt be using human shields anyway!
  9. Its not a delicate subject, casualties of WAR are very different to video'd executions.
  10. So how do you base your reality? Make assumptions about who and who wasnt executed? It makes no difference who they were, soldier, journalist, agent etc, to video and execute someone or anyone for whatever reason is a disgrace.
  11. leaving them to run amok isn't an option and right now I don't see any alternative to boots on the ground if we are to eradicate this cancer. Pete. I agree, but and only but, it is on the basis that they are gone to town on, no ifs and buts, none of this mamby pamby cant shoot until shot upon, none of this if they lay down their arms they are given nice comfy prison cells with 3 square meals, skype to their families (yes it happens), no rights what so ever. Any country found harboring them or operating training camps from gets the full extent of the law at best, at worst the right to invade. Basically they need driving back underground and that isnt going to happen if we operate the way we have in Afghan. Maybe the way we have seen to conduct ourselves "at war" there hasnt helped us at all? + Any hate preachers or IS supporters in the west (particularly here) need instant deportation, no question, no trial, out!
  12. Worth nothing also, the other car your drive needs a valid insurance policy of its own for you to be covered via your policy
  13. My personal view is it is up to the general law abiding and well behaved Muslim community to stand against the radicals or extremists, in all fairness, it does them least favours of all, as in its tarring them all with the same brush. How they do that though, i have no idea, probably the same way IS rule, fear tactics of some description. I was working for a guy from the special forces last week and he said its all going to kick off soon, in some shape or fashion. He doesnt expect his tours to stop any time soon. You will never win a war against them, as proved in Afghan and that is down to Politics, an example, he has literally filmed and watched Taliban laying a chain of ied's, did they get the order to shoot to kill, not a chance, they are not authorised to fire until fired upon!! Interestingly though he said none of it is about religion, its all a front, its all about money, wealth and greed, shia and sunni muslims are fighting each other and its all over materialistic things, nothing to do with religious beliefs.
  14. Cheapest option is to buy a converter chip which you wire in line with the speedo i.e http://www.svaspeedo...oduct_info.html, you dont need an uprev to do it. I have had quite a few jdm imports and this always did the trick (car still thinks its doing kph so limiter effectively removed)). However, for some reason i had problems with one for the 350z, the needle would bounce when stationary and i know a couple of others have had the same problem. Easiest solution is to buy a Uk 350z instrument cluster (speedo/rev counter etc) Its a straight swap and you get mph & kmh dial without a dodgy mph sticker placed over the kmh, which as it goes never passed the sva as the it didnt light up at night, most people just blacked out the k, which passed sva. Swap out the 3 gauge cluster too as Aliveboy says, its a straight swap
  15. Which was all a scam as they "sold" it back to the guy they bought it from, much hilarity was had on the rx7 forums over that one, didnt do ownership any favours either
  16. If it was that clear, concise and easy, the vote would be 100%, not even close to 50/50 so either half your countrymen are as moronic as us Brits or half of you cant see the wood for the trees
  17. You would moan just like we do down here as nationality makes zero difference in Politics, we had a Scot In Gordon Brown running the country for a few years and lovely old Mr Darling as Tony the megalomaniac Blairs right hand man, they did so well for England AND Scotland didnt they, it didnt make a shred of difference to me that they were Scottish, they were just t**ts, i guarantee you this, you wont be so placid if your Scottish government messes it up, they are politicians, not all misty eyed and independent like the Yes voters
  18. In case you havent noticed we have a coalition at the moment, i voted Tory and i have Liberals as you put it "controlling" the Uk, is that fair, no, thats just politics. So if you get independence by as low as 1% is it any fairer for the 49% that voted No having a Scottish government "controlling" them, of course not, but thats just politics. I understand the whole wanting independence , thats cool and your choice to vote, but the whole "i" just dont want Westminster in control attitude as your reason is just so narrow minded. Still no one voting yes has answered my question, IF you get independence and IF they mess it up, will you feel happier knowing it was a Scottish government that messed it up? Just remember, no late night texts in a few years saying we made a mistake we want you back Honestly mate it it was to go all belly up. Then we can say we mucked up. It our fault. We ruined it. But that was our decision and Scotland made it's decisions with it thought was best for it. But that won't happen cos we will rule yeah son! There is a reason we don't want Westminster in charge. Sorry buddy and take take this offensively but you are talking absolute bullsh*t that "IF" it does all go tits up if you get independence and i genuinely hope its doesnt, you will sit there with a completely messed up health service, police force, tax system, state pension, economy etc etc etc etc and say, "ah its ok, they knew what was best and were Scottish, so its all fine, i am out of job, the banks have lost my money etc but its still ok as it wasnt Westminster" And you avoided answering, would it be fair on a hypothetical 49% if you get independence??

  20. I am laid up with a bad back watching Alistair Darling "trying" to answer some questions and have come to a conclusion. If you didnt have two such absolute bell....s (Darling & Salmond) fighting the yes or no campaign you would have a lot better chance of a definitive % one way or another
  21. +1 Ended up effectively costing the same If not more than an origional Chargespeed.
  22. Mad motors are just a supplier, they do not make the kits, hence the crazy lead times as it all comes from the states.
  23. After buying a RT Chargespeed rear I can safely say, you will need more than just to drill out mounting points, I was advised after the purchase RT allow two days to "fit" and paint.
  24. I really dont get why all the English members are getting so wound up and making it personal? You can make an opinion like most of the other members like Coldel and Ekona without making sweeping statements about Scottish people and basically saying get it up you when it goes wrong. Not singling you out Jetpilot but there has been a few people throwing in smart remarks that are uncalled for. I really enjoy reading this as you really are getting both sides of the argument but lets not make assumptions and tar everyone with the same brush. You get me all wrong, i am not wound up or making it personal, i have little to no interest if Scotland goes independant or not, the reason, i really dont have the facts or information to form an educated decision on whether it will effect little old me in the UK, cant be more honest than that. The only advantage from a personal point of view is if Scotland does go independent we probably will not see another Labour government for a while, good in my book The question was simple and hypothetical, if you get independence: Would you feel more comfortable if a Scottish government messed up your affairs, not one in Westminster?? Not saying they will, but that seems to be many Scots beef, so long as a Scottish government messes it up, not English, thats fine!
  25. I think i am blown away by the last few comments, more so that you will vote will be cast on it, i have literally no idea why anyone thinks any politician is different from another, Salmond, Darling, Cameron, Blair etc They are all in for their own good, not actually because they believe they can make the country better. Some of the choices Blair made for this country were shocking, absolutely shocking, but all the Labour voters just want to bang about Margaret Thatcher and what she did wrong, privatisation etc etc So great, you vote Yes because you think Salmond is different because he is Scottish and cares about Scotland, i think you are in for a HUGE shock, but hey, at least you can then blame one of your own, will that make you feel better when you realise he is no better than the rest?? If you actually agree with his manifesto, brilliant and if you do get independence and it all goes t*ts up, will you put your hand up and say, ah well, i voted for him, i have no one else to blame but myself, not a chance you will
