  1. Had the passenger door card off this morning, reset button depressed, window down, little wait, reset released, rest pushed, all the way up, little wait, reset released. Tried the door, auto drop worked like a charm about 10 times (thorough testing). Door card back together, another round of testing, all great. Hour later I go for a drive, check passenger door auto drop when I park, not working, grrrrrrrr. The glass doesn't collide with the frame, so no damage, but it should work and its getting to me. Could it be whatever tells the door it's open, not working? If so, where is this "sensor"? Could it be the glass isn't sitting straight? it looks spot on to the door frame when it's closed, but the scraches stop about 5mm above the waterline when the window is fully up? Any other ideas at all welcome. Thanks.
  2. I rented cars off and on for 18 months before buying the zed, with a variety of parking assists. I can't speak specifically for those posted but I found sensor type aids really paranoid and more than a little annoying. However, I found reverse cams to be very useful, it'll be a mod I get around to sometime soon.
  3. I've used http://www.autobulbsdirect.co.uk/ in the past, just don't trust their "put your reg in and well find it for you", it's misled me before on zed bulbs, can't remember which, possibly indicators. If you know the bulbs (from here, manual etc) and fitment you want, just search for them and you'll be away. GL.
  4. Good enough for me.
  5. Can I use that pic for the new website Stu ? Looks awesome Of course! I'd have taken my proper camera if I'd known, and some lights, my mankini... How do you want to work royalties? One off fee upfront or % of sales back end?
  6. Been back again today for drop links, which were picked up during the P3. Thanks to Alex for the drops and Grinspeed for fitting, as ever, exceptional service and great value. It's an education to watch them work, while I eat a donut. Got fully stickered up too! Drops (thanks Alex) Hoses (thanks Cougar Store) & Grounding kit (thanks Horsham) & matching Samco intake (thanks tony.r123) Undertray (thanks Tarmac) I did manage to mess up the only job I'm qualified to do though, stickers (decals for hipsters) think I got away with it... I'll be back soon enough for the dreaded clicky rear axle, stage 1.
  7. Big thanks to CS, my engine bay project has actually started to look like it's going somewhere thanks to the Samco hoses which have just gone in. Cheers.
  8. Used Tarmac Sportz for quite a few things (nuts, undertray, lip, pulleys and also for decent free advice) and I've always had a top notch service from Chris. Just wanted to say thanks and good luck with the improved site.
  9. She went on like a dream this afternoon, well they would do when you get a pro to do it and she's already on the ramp for drop links! Words can't describe the difference in look a feel this has over the plastic thing that was previously hanging in this space by some seized nuts and cable ties. Cheers Chris
  10. Wish I'd seen the Wasso spacer before I ordered my motordyne, not that I'm unhappy with it, but these do look better.
  11. Cool as. It's one of the cars that got me interested in cars as a kid. It still looks futuristic now.
  12. Nice work, thy look great.
  13. Smart indeed. I just hope they keep at it for a good few years and don't find something else to stockpile instead, it'll help all our values. Then when it comes to time to sell my zed on to another enthusiast, they'll be getting an excellent deal, with a pre-sale service thrown in too!
  14. Isn't excel awesome? You can use it for everything. Microsoft's single greatest contribution to the world.
  15. Are we talking crinkle or wrinkle here?
  16. Some people often don't factor in that kind of service when they're busy telling you apple is too expensive.
  17. +1 on the Gummi Pfeldge, brought my rubber back from the dead, particularly round rear windscreen.
  18. I have a Cosworth, it works fine. Easily worth 20bhp just for the name!
  19. There are a lot of bolts and have really nice detail to them. Worth every penny, they look superb. Don't suppose you have a handy shopping list of them all and their sizes by any chance?
  20. Beta 3 lands, not read the full release notes but mainly fixes and a slightly thicker font. Dabbled more in iTunes Radio recently, not that impressed sadly, maybe more to come...
  21. Nice work, leather seats is a nice upgrade. Obsolete bonnet arm is easy, just yank it. My kind of mod!
  22. Love the rising sun. Which black paint did you use?
  23. I was looking for the same thing recently, found a place in Blackpool in the end, which is local for me. When I was asking around a few people mentioned the wheel specialist as being decent. Might be a franchise near you. http://www.thewheelspecialist.co.uk
  24. You could try Steve @ Redline. http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/68681-350z-mines-cf-lip-available-from-redline-styling/
