  1. Great to catch up on this thread after a few weeks away. AMMO Skin rules! Having just done 3198 miles in a black car, I could have done with taking some of these LSPs for a cold weather test All she got was a quick 5 minute pressure wash (by Sweden's premiere motor cycle stunt rider mind you!) by which time the bead had well a truly failed Glad the interview went well mate, fingers crossed for you.
  2. Thank you. The wheels were refurbed in "chrome effect" which I think looks better than it sounds
  3. Posh boys always do. Don't confuse 'authority' with 'sense of entitlement'.
  4. Studies show idiots are good at getting top jobs, they have confidence because they are too stupid to see their own shortcomings. http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dunning–Kruger_effect
  5. Worth a watch it you don't! Cool vid.
  6. I like the idea of the article, it could be funny, but he/she's made a monkey's breakfast of it. It's almost like automatics don't exist for the purpose of some lame gags about getting it moving
  7. I'm a green according to the tests I keep doing online, but none of them have any questions about large engined, petrol cars just healthcare, education and other such minor issues Going Labour as they are 1 degree more to the left than the Tories and I'd like to keep them out of my constituency. Until SNP go UK-wide, I've got no other choice!
  8. Holly shitballz! Glad the guy is ok. Those Ditchfinders working over time!
  9. I hope not. From someone who has never done a track day, and still wondering if I should or not, this video has put me right off! As the others have said, don't be put off. If they were all like this, no one would surprised by the level of attack and sheer numbers out on track. Do what I did, go on a club day with a mate who has a pestige marque. I went with a Jaaaag club trackday and because my car was worth less than two of their panels, they were much more scared of me than I was of them
  10. That's mental! I was shitting it just watching on youtube!
  11. It wasn't called birth mess, that was my name, it had a more arty name which equated to the same thing
  12. At the risk of a it's not all boozing and bhp on a manly road trip round Sweden and Norway. Today was art day, Sweden. So this is some of the "modern" kind. Hmmmmm.. Birth mess. Wheel stool. Best one was this, which looks like it's going away from you... ...but is actually coming right at ya! Ok, there was a little bit of petrol in there too Thoroughly enjoyable and the rest of Stockholm is not too shabby either, so many Swedettes, so little time....
  13. Cool vid. Looks a bit more manic into the bends than the couple I've been on! I was bricking it in my daily, which I'm sure you can relate to I quite like the look of those two ladies...

Bastardos! Hope the fix is spot on.
  15. I did enquire at my local nissan steeler before painting mine, I can't remember the exact price but it was 3 figures and enough to persuade me hammerite was the way forward
  16. Colour looks good and we all know that gunmetal is worth +15 bhp
  17. Given they're OEM cats, seems weird to chuck an EML. I could be about to embarrass myself but is it not possible there's a leak either on the cats or, as they've just gone on, at the joins?
  18. You know the rules; pictures or it didn't happen! Looking like he is heading for with all this teasing She was the first woman in Sweden to shoot a Lynx! Before vegies go mental, I'm not condoning it, just stating a fact.
  19. That's a great photo of a great bit of kit. It now has a couple of love marks from uneven surfaces but it copes much better than the bit of plastic that was previously hanging off there.
  20. It's been awesome mate, and today has been the pinnacle, so far. If you ever really fancy it, I can't speak highly enough of these guys, they were superb. The bikes had only done 1500km and were fast enough to burn off the locals and the guide was excellent, spoke the Queens and even set up a fire and cooked us lunch. In fact they recommended the log cabins I'm wrtting this from. http://www.snowmobilelapland.com Normally they do a three day package, two days on skidoos (I'm shattered after one) and then the third day they take you ice drifting on a (more heavily I hope) frozen lake in some, wait for it, VOLVOS. Sadly we can only do one day but I have a feeling I'll be back again Just fell in love with another Swedish hotel worker, when she's not running the hotel she hunts moose!
  21. So today has been absolutely epic. 6 hours on skidoos bashing the shizzle out of snow. 600cc of goodness, which is good for about 65 mph in prime conditions, plenty fast enough for a noob like me. Nothing makes you feel more James Bond than blasting over a frozen lake at 50 into a blizzard, phenomenal! We had big problems finding a skiddo tour that was still open, spring has sprung and the lakes are starting to thaw. Fortunately one local stunt bike rider was brave enough to take us out there. Up mountains, down ski slopes, along forest fire breaks, across valleys and over said lakes. The problem with a thawing iake is that there are wet bits and you can @*!# yourself if you're not careful when you see the water you naturally want to slow down, this is incorrect! Today I learnt two things: 1) if the guide does a u-turn and burns off the lake, you forget the safety briefing and proceed as fast as you can back the way you came 2) nailing the throttle is the emergency procedure for nearly all "moments" on a snowmobile.
  22. I can't believe this hasn't gone already, it's a beauty!
