  1. I'll be in touch ! There's a chance I could be in Surrey visiting family though (as the last few times I was there, I was under the car tinkering away )
  2. I wanted to do the fix as well, since I can only get around 48ltrs in there, around 250ish miles between fill ups. Obviously the sensors need cleaning or the sender thing replacing. Brad - how hard was it to do ?

    W Brace

The Ultra Racing stuff will fit, I'd get it from a trader here or driftworks if you DID have an issue. (I don't think you will) If you search a chap called 'addisj' has some UR bracing on his car. Do a search like this on google: site:350z-uk.com ultra racing

    W Brace

Ultra racing make replacements if you want new, and it's possibly an improvement but hard to say.
  5. Nice ! I couple of friends get their 918's pretty imminently this year, I can't wait to get my arse in them as experience that kind of power
  6. Yeah I'm settled on it... There's only 5% doubt in my mind Balloon looks cleaner and crisper, and that 5% is decreasing all the time With regards to my Zworks lights, we both agreed the paint shop haven't matched Silverstone grey very well, it's too dark... I don't want the projector to disappear into the black housing. They are going to repaint them asap. I still like the Balloon White though but I really think you can't go wrong with either colour.

    Banana Arm?

Search (banana or compression) and you'll see examples of what it's like - if it's just the rubber bush, replace that - not the whole arm.
  8. Actually get some masking tape and a marker pen, label each bolt And ensure you have the right tools. Also worth checking out this video as he takes the plenum off/pops back on:
  9. Yeah I think it's fairly unanimous for the Bianco Fuji. Do it!
  10. Going to get one next month I think, my one has started wobbling a bit I must have jinxed it as my battery suddenly died last week
  11. Find someone to help out from the club, where do you live ?
  12. (not sure if I'm reading what you mean't correctly) Yes but that manual tells you how to remove it and put it back on PROPERLY and torqued properly (need to do it right imho), download it. I'm using VHT black wrinkle spray paint Pritchard

  14. VERY hard to tell the difference in that last photo. As mentioned before, a mate had his Gallardo spyder in balloon white, looked great but also last year another chap joined us in his Bianco Fuji F12, once again, looked THE balls
  15. Sweet. I'll order a set for myself.
  16. Bumping up for Tarmac - or anyone else that has installed these
  17. In regards to the ECU: http://www.350z-uk.com/topic/92887-before-before-after-dynos-abbey/page__st__40#entry1399098
  18. I hope he's written which is which Bottom left looks good to me, Balloon White it seems.
  19. Have you had a chance to get it on the scales yet ? Some brake pad ideas... (hear good things about Project Mu when I was looking around) Carbotech (specifically XP8/XP10/XP12 iirc) Endless Personally I like to use EBC, I think their Orange stuff pad is the race/trackday version but I've no idea how they perform. (I want to try out Carbotech at some point) Useful: http://my350z.com/forum/autocross-road/214117-track-pads-database.html
  20. Oh, that's either just the piston rod in the new shocks (didn't torque them due to not having the right tool - just on f'ing tight), or possibly the ball joint end on the compression arm (front left, stops noise after left foot braking). I think your suggestion is misleading Robbo. Have you used Kinetix or SPL parts? How is it misleading mate (?), I said it would be great if Kinetic/SPL etc would make a replacement for the compression arm. (I think you've mis-read what I typed) Once again, no disagreements whatsoever from me here. I literally, innocently wondered how long compression arms should last in daily driving conditions, and then wondered how poly bushings affect this as well (good or bad) - IF at all. I imagine it would be more beneficial with a poly bushing/solid due to less stress on the ball join end. Obviously I'm no engineer but just logically pondering
  21. Hi Mark (MANY thanks again for the top mount on Sat !), I've got Superpro and Prothane, most likely the Superpro for this specific part will go on, seems better engineered for this bushing. At the moment it's just the standard rubber in there, looks fine though (not touching any metal parts at that end).
  22. I've got 2 types of poly bushings here ready to go into them, just will see what Sly things regarding either brand and quality. It really was just a curiosity thing regarding these parts, I replaced my ones a little while back but it's frustrating that a company like Kinetix/SPL etc etc haven't actually come up with an improved design (yet). I also wonder if the poly bush helps improve/reduce the longevity of them ?
  23. Have you ordered this bloody bar yet or not? 😀
  24. Time/miles approximately with typical driving, not crazy track days or daft suspension settings. I wondered roughly how long they go on for until the ball joint end gives up.
  25. I had this on my old MR2, turned out to be the thermostat, so at least it was easy to sort out.
