  1. For some reason I thought that brace could go the other side but perhaps that was just a google pic I saw.

    W Brace

It's mainly why I'd advise hiring/buying an impact wrench to undo them. I've snapped soo many bolts in the past with a flipping breaker bar

It is. Soak in Plus gas + impact wrench will have it done in a couple of moments, then just use a torque wrench to tighten it back up with the new bar.
  5. Are you organising a group buy or should I just contact them myself ?
  6. Glad it's of some help, just hopefully resolves an issue without having to buy something. I also find the seats in the Z to be awful at lower back support, even after an hour my back aches.
  7. I can't comment on the adjusters for the belts but it's possibly something to do with your seating position ? I always have my set up so that my wrists can rest on the top of the wheel, and then so that I can push the clutch down without over stretching or having my knees bent awkwardly. Something like this: http://www.drivingfast.net/track/driving-position.htm (not intending to come across patronising btw !!!)
  8. Guys, as you can see my front camber differs to each other, to get the driver side in line with the passenger side any thoughts on how to achieve this, or is it really a case of going for something like Eibach/Cusco upper control arms ? (Sly advised this, which is more than likely what I'll do as it makes sense - my wallet doesn't agree ) But just for info: I have the Superpro adjustable compression arm bushing 'SPF2849K' (seems like only caster is affected) in there but I saw they also do adjustable upper arm bushing for camber but that'll only give 0.5 deg difference. I can't work out why it's quite different
  9. I bought this as I want exactly what it does, black wrinkle matte finish, and bonus of no primer it says (have some upol acid etch on standby just in case). http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/VHT-Black-Wrinkle-Finish-Paint-Aerosol-310ml-Crackle-Spray-crinkle-effect-/141535788596?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&hash=item20f430be34
  10. I've been out to this stunning track many times over the years, it's hugely fast and like a roller coaster, however, I'd always recommend tuition for the first visit (no matter what track really). Hope to go this year.
  11. Ah, I didn't realise you had a website. Nothing in particular, perhaps adjustable arbs next but it's handy to scroll through parts and get some ideas for the future.
  12. That reminds me, you mentioned some other suspension goodies, what are they or is that a separate post in the works?
  13. First visit to Kaizer, to have various bits looked at, installed and resolved. So my list was something like this: Fit bushings Fit transmission mount Bleed and inspect brakes Fit compression arms 4 wheel alignment/geo Fit toe bolts IF required Tighten belts (replace if worn) extra - check passenger window motor - reset ? After dropping the car off, and going through the work again as some parts I wanted to reuse (bushings), Sly kindly dropped me off at the station and back home 25 mins later before work. My car ended up being one of those pain in the bum ones, where bolts and bits were seized or snapped (sorry!). So it took a little longer than Sly expected but no problem, I'd rather he doesn't feel rushed, more than happy to leave it as long as it needs. So it was (nearly) all cool for Saturday morning, I say nearly as it needs to have a faulty brake hose replaced (thus the spongey feel) and perhaps have the front driver side camber difference looked at at some point. The car feels totally different in the best possible way! It's sooo tight and together now. I'll make a proper 'build' thread later to give some details. Here are the alignment settings at the moment. Many thanks again Sly! (hopefully catch you in the week to sort the brakes out)
  14. Mutual wave, and your motor was faaar cleaner than my one, local or passing through?
  15. Obviously I'm not on the same page mate, haha zero idea what you're on about Well I decided to replace all of the popper fixings first, and surprisingly that SEEMS to have fixed the most irritating noise I've put up with for a year. I can't stress how useful it is buying a bunch of various fixings as back up for the car, worth getting a load.
  16. I've just had my bushings done by Sly at Kaizer. I'll have a separate post to come giving my thoughts etc but not doing that on the phone, annoying. Essentially my set is Prothane and one from SuperPro. Very happy.
  17. Hi guy's, I've got what sounds like a noisy bunch of crickets trapped in the boot of the car. It's the most annoying, maddening sound EVER! I know 100% that it's the main plastic surround as I've just taken it out, and before hand pushed in various spots to find out where. I was thinking of putting some sound deadening material in there (halfords sell stuff). I just wanted to know if anyone else has done that, and if it helped stop the plastic from rubbing against the boot? I've also got a load of new plastic clips, so may well replace those first to see if that does the trick. Cheers!
  18. This was asked just a few days ago... Have a look.
  19. I've been using EBC's for the last few years, zero issues. A few guys using them on their GT3's as well (for track use), once again, no issues. Is that a bad experience you had or just hearsay ?
  20. From looking at the videos this is a handy little device. It's on my shopping list now, just have to work out where to have it installed.
  21. Ah cool,I was wondering if that may happen
  22. It doesn't. I presume you enter some data in, like tank size and so on. Check out some videos on youtube.
