  1. MPSS's fitted (rear only this month) Hopefully I'll be able to report on how they feel soon enough. Just so you guys know: Tyres = Camskill £320 apx Fitting = Kwik Fit = £30 apx Total = £350 for rears only
  2. Damn that looks like a good bit of fun StevoD I need to get my butt over to something like that ASAP.
  3. Great info there, cheers I've got plenty of lights luckily (a few of those screwfix ones plus others), I just need to get the car indoors ideally so I can take my time over a weekend.
  4. I had a very quick go with the Spin Doctor this afternoon, it's brilliant ! I'll do some before/after photo's once I can secure a place to do this in, as I need proper lights to see what I'm doing, also the camera cannot pick up what I've done either (just captures reflections).
  5. Currently barely getting paid on time though, and tbh I think I'm done with it, I want to earn more money. So kids - don't work in the film industry, it sucks !
  6. visual effects for feature film, yarp.
  7. Ideally mix between 24 & 48 for action. The only analogy I can give it, use it like you would slow motion, the entire thing like that is god awful. (and I seriously don't ever want to work with it !)
  8. All show and no go The future ?
  9. http://www.caranddriver.com/features/effects-of-upsized-wheels-and-tires-tested
  10. I tapped that in google thinking some freak godzilla child would appear before my eyes... thanks a bunch for zero warning
  11. I'm not going to watch it, mainly because I'm guessing it'll be one of those 'us vs them' type of things with no balance. But please do say if it's not. I'm just glad that my mates don't fart about town in their lovely supercars
  12. Too far from me, but if you can, please could you PM the price ? My normal local place I use for fitting/balancing etc wanted £420 !
  13. Same here mate (for a month or so when I can do the fronts) However, I'm keen to know what price you are paying, as I just bought a pair from Camskill, and hoping to find a tyre fitter than will actually fit them now.
  14. Barely use it anyway, so replacement falls under CBA category
  15. On this thread of tape... I guess these work for a quick fix ? http://www.halfords.com/webapp/wcs/stores/servlet/product_storeId_10001_catalogId_10151_productId_170749_langId_-1_categoryId_254706
  16. and on that note, it's a good idea to pressure wash the suspension anyway, if really keen - wheels off ! (just this time of year with salt and all sorts on the roads)
  17. IF it was painted black, maybe, just maybe on the darkest night it would look partially ok, you know, if you were drunk and not paying attention as it sped past whilst you're tucking into a kebab. But the interior - it's like a 5 year old came up with it
  18. I'm waiting for the supersports today actually, anything has to be better than the RE050's at the mo.
  19. I wash my car (whatever it is) pretty much every weekend, it's quick to do now that I've used some 'powerlock' sealant on it a couple of months ago after machine polishing it. So for me, a bit of pre-wash sprayed on, pressure wash it off, then some bilt hamber auto wash, literally 10-15mins now and it looks nice (for about 4 seconds).
  20. Cheers for that, I guess those kind of ones are all the same just rebranded\painted differently. Do you use those ones on the sills without any issues ?
  21. I'm after a set of the V-shaped ones, which I presume generally have a hard wearing rubber on them ? (I can use these on the sill points right ?) If so, can anyone recommend a specific set to go for ? The Silverline 580486 look ok but I'm not sure if anyone here has tried them.
  22. The work looks very good indeed ! (I personally prefer the 'dry' look of CF, less reflective in the windows - I guess you can do either?). I'm trying to guess the car, a Toyota of some kind ? (some shared parts I recognise from the MR2)
  23. I hear a little bit of this as well but to me it seems like I'm not quite in the right gear, ie I hear it in 3rd when really I should be in 2nd. But if I just put my foot down it's instantly gone. Alex will be getting a clutch/flywheel order from me at some point soon anyway (more for peace of mind rather than it feels like it requires doing)
