  1. Many thanks chaps, that's perfect. It's really just to save a bit of time here and there, as it does add up. Obviously I'm not intending to do any heavy duty stuff with the poor thing
  2. Hey guys, I have one of these at home (bloody handy actually!): http://www.screwfix.com/p/bosch-ixo-iv-cordless-screwdriver-3-6v/99577 However, I thought it would be nice to be able to undo some bolts with it to save a bit of time here and there . But I'm just wondering what 'bit' or converter I'll need so that I can use my normal socket pieces on it ? I'm sure I can just nip down to a local tool place tomorrow and they'll hopefully have something but I just wondered if there is a converter ?
  3. I really, really read that wrong the first time. Dare I ask what you thought it said ?
  4. I switched to a paleo 'lifestyle' or whatever you want to call it as it completely made sense to me. I do occasionally cheat but on the whole I feel a huge amount better for it, no hunger cravings any more (wanted to eat constantly), good energy throughout the day and IBS symptoms have cleared up. It's not for everyone as it challenges pretty much all of the BS you've been told about food/health in the news/books/trainers. Anyway, what you put in is certainly more important than just slinging yourself around a gym.
  5. Do some digging on it. I mean using it here and there, fine but I 'run' my car on Shell, all I'm saying is I wouldn't on that tesco stuff. vansman66: I presume you have a relevant degree which helped ?
  6. If you're a partying man, I suggest heading up to Santiago de Compostela ! I used to live there, winter/spring is fantastic as all of the students are about, and it was crazy times in the best sense And just a quick google maps question for folks: Like the OP I make my own little routes for drives, however, I can't bloody get them to load into the navigation, or if you press 'Get Directions'. It doesn't go from A,B,C etc so I have to keep looking at the screen to ensure I'm following the blue line (also, does anyone know why they thought blue on top of blue was a good idea for following?)
  7. Tesco's is 99 but I'm not putting it in my car. dErZ: I think we need a job thread !
  8. That's exactly what I wouldn't think about, or you'd never go
  9. Nice little write up I need a new job this year, the trouble is I've no idea what to go into next, your one sounds interesting for sure.
  10. I'm just unsure about the flexi's in the exhaust system. I'm in no way suggesting that anyone's products aren't up to the job but it's surely the only weak link in the system ?
  11. Hey guys, I'm just thinking about purchasing the Stillen Y-pipe, however since it doesn't have the flexi's (a good thing imho), it can on the flip side make fitting a bit more of a pig. It'll be going from H-dev decats, and going to the scopion y-pipe back (looked like a 3" pipe). Thanks for any tips
  12. I have the same problem occasionally. I think you'll have to recline the drivers seat as much as possible, and get you bum on the seat with your head under the pedals, apply some grease to the hinge points. I'm just guessing here. As always, use the search as well as it comes up often.
  13. Ah, I bought the sheet now, I know it's good stuff so hopefully it'll do the job.
  14. I've seen plenty of threads enquiring how to remove the badges but I actually want to stick them back on after a boot swap. I've found this quickly on ebay, sounds like it would work, what do you guys think ? http://www.ebay.co.u...=item43b5d96e2b (obviously just cut around letters\badge etc)
  15. My passenger window isn't dropping when you open/close the door, so I'm continually asking passengers to close the door gently. Is it likely that I'll need to follow the guide to clean the motor brushes ? (the window goes up/down perfectly) And if I'm being super lazy, any thoughts on how much it should cost to have done at one of the garages ? (approximately)
  16. I had planned on heading into guildford tonight, the ladies can wait until next week now
  17. Many thanks again, all sorted, yep literally 5 mins to sort out. Big relief as we couldn't see what was wrong
  18. Thank you soo much man, hugely helpful there I'm going to do it now before I start quaffing beer
  19. Here is the strut bracket, this is the passenger side looking towards the cabin:
  20. Fantastic, I'll get a photo in a moment for future reference
  21. Here is the issue: Ah, hopefully that's it then, I'll check first thing !
  22. Hey guys, I thought I'd post this up here in the dire hope someone can help myself and Bennett. We did a boot swap this afternoon, however, neither of our boots actually sit flush at the hinge end. Also when you press the release button it fires up about 5 inches very enthusiastically We basically ran out of time/light to make any adjustments but I'm hoping someone here knows what to do as I don't want it jutting out either side of the roof (photo coming in a moment). Over to you guys (MY GOD the boot is heavy, especially when poncing around trying to fit everything, sheesh)
