    Wrap/Livery

Our own resident pro wrapper and a good friend zippypooz (Steve) on here. Done lots of work for the forum privately. Done my 370z Nismo and Zebs car recently. Send him a PM. Steve travelled with me in my Datsun to Ace Saturday. Guy wearing the red baseball cap FYI John. My zed below after Steve did some wrap for me
  2. To give you an idea . After I changed it to hydro dipped.
  3. Long time ago now. Hard work, sore fingers but helped the miserable winter pass at the time . Hydro dipping is a better option now and what I would recommend.
  4. You could always spend all winter like I did polishing it to death with a polishing wheel and dremel. Mine below 8 years ago but never again..
  5. Look In the Zeds for sale section on here and maybe speak to Andy Muxlow as he has a lovely example he is looking to sell to step back into a 370z. He’s no friend of mine 😂 but I’ve heard he’s a great guy.
  6. That would be an admin nightmare on top of what is already a time intrusive job. There are other ways so watch this space..
  7. Thanks George and Paul , great to see you both and thanks for making such a long trip. I’m more than disappointed in those that said they would come and once again didn’t show the courtesy to message me. I felt for everyone who showed and you and those that travelled so far to see so few cars. I certainly won’t secure a venue like Ace for 13 cars when we had 23 booked next year so this event may need to be canned. Watch this space for some possible rule changes on committing to events and then not showing. Your cars are a credit to you both. Thanks for travelling so so far. Sending all our love and best wishes to Amy and Matt.xx Martin
  8. Good shout Col. it’s a nasty journey either way from every direction in my experience. 2.5 hours from home for me in Hayward’s Heath 😡
  9. Did you mean to post this on someone else’s new member thread ?🤷‍♂️
  10. You brought a show car, not a daily essentially. They were £5k to make FYI.
  11. Have you any idea how much the previous owner paid for them to be custom made ? I doubt you will find a set of wheels that cost as much for a swap .
  12. You brought Andy’s car (Panman) on here. Azure blue, custom made centre hub rims. Stunning car and a good friend and we’ll known member. That car was kept in top mechanical condition and always looked outstanding. Congratulations on owning a gem .
  13. Great pads. Have them on my 1971 Datsun 510 Coupe. Have EBC Green Stuff ones.👍

    Under sealing

Agree with all of the above. If you aren’t careful you will start a problem for the future rather than prevent one. I have chosen not to underseal my 51 year old Datsun. It’s in very good shape having lived in South Africa and although it feels like the tight think to do it isn’t always. The risk is you seal in rust if it’s not prepared right as the two previous posters have rightly pointed out.
  15. Andy James and Steve are coming up from Bournemouth Paul. Not sure if that helps ? M
  16. I spend a week a month working in Amsterdam and to a large extent I would say they have it cracked. Over 20,000 bikes parked outside Amsterdam Central everyday and bikes the main mode of transport. They can also be a bit wild as all you get is a quick ring of a bell as they come hurtling around a corner from nowhere. They aren’t afraid of not using lights on their bikes at night either. It’s presents alternative issues.I have had a few close shaves.
  17. https://www.britishcycling.org.uk/campaigning/article/20220127-Highway-Code-–-Riding-two-abreast-0 I dot disagree but sadly the law has changed and they are allowed to cycle two a breast. Not a fan of cyclists and their general attitude towards cars on the road but they have a few more rights now.
  18. Maybe it has a show and go plate. Available and can be done as many have.
  19. Hi mate. Yes as I said above is 370Z but I think they did them for the 350 as a few years back as I thought a couple of our members had them as I was looking to get one but then bought my Nismo. I could of course be wrong. Maybe they stopped making them for the 350, who knows. This guy has done a good job , I was more trying to guide others that might have fancied one but didn’t have the time or skills as the OP did. See you in a weeks time mate for a catch up. M
  20. https://progressiveparts.com/product/maxton-design-spoiler-cap-nissan-370z-2009-2012-ni-370-cap1?utm_term=&utm_campaign=PP+-+Smart+Shopping&utm_source=adwords&utm_medium=ppc&hsa_acc=6631320648&hsa_cam=10263358788&hsa_grp=108097262131&hsa_ad=440787028457&hsa_src=u&hsa_tgt=pla-394776114124&hsa_kw=&hsa_mt=&hsa_net=adwords&hsa_ver=3&gclid=EAIaIQobChMI6J62odeI-AIVUY1oCR0ygQN1EAQYByABEgLxZfD_BwE I know a couple of members a few years back had the 350z one. If you go to the site and search they may or may not still do them , however you have done a good job fabricating your own so credit to you .
  21. Great job but you do know you can buy these gloss black or in carbon ready made from Maxton.
  22. Cheers. You will see it at Ace in a couple of weeks as she’s going in for some brake work between now and then .
  23. Entry now closed. Mods can you please lock .
