  1. A very good day out indeed, great to see everybody, my mate who was with me took some pics throughout the day
  2. I'll be at this one buddy! I had it all planned for the last one they did, the car was fully detailed, waxed, the lot. Borrowed my mates DSLR with charged batteries & empty SD cards & a full tank of fuel ready to rock. Ended up getting in at 4:30am so waking up 2 hours later and driving all day, still not exactly sober was a bad idea

    Brake Pads

I changed my front brake pads a couple weekends ago, very easy job, 5 - 10 minutes each side. Mines a road car too, even use it for commuting so just replaced with OEM pads which are absolutely fine, and much cheaper too My car had just under 30k on the clock and they were worn about 75%.
  4. Hahahaha, we both have great taste it seems A few snaps from my weekend at JAE (all of which have been Instagram'd by my mate) 'Arty farty' attempt here... One I got tagged in on Facebook And on the way home The Zed got a lot of attention & feedback at JAE, mine was the only 370Z there I think, got many compliments and spoke to some very nice people - from what I remember, spent the whole of the weekend wasted
  5. All in all it took just over 3 weeks, however I got it sent to my mothers house where the import tax letter was thrown in the recycle, a week later when I chased them, bit of confusion on the phone but I paid import duties over the phone & it was delivered the next morning (Parcel Force) - assuming you receive the letter & pay on time unlike myself I'd guess less than 2 weeks. I went for all black FRP (I like the flat / matt black look over carbon) tax was £26, the lip & shipping came to £142. So not expensive at all. I found he replied to my emails very quickly? No complaints with the customer service from me... Cheers bud, I've only got 1 recent pic on my phone. It was walking back to my car thinking "dam that looks good, must take a picture"
  6. Removed my spring last weekend, I'd recommend it also (wish I did it sooner tbh)
  7. Direct from Evo-R own site buddy, couldn't find a UK reseller to use.
  8. Quick update Front lip & side steps fitted today, clutch spring removed & new front pads fitted
  9. Is the info on page 12 of this brochure what your after DT? Edit: Didn't attach as file too big, here's the link: http://www.nissan.co.uk/content/dam/services/gb/brochure/370Z%20_Coupe%20_Brochure.pdf
  10. If only we could run our cars with no front number plate in the UK, the 370's look sooooo much better without it! Another vote for red btw
  11. They're basically the same as a Colt CZ-T underneath, uses the same 4G15T engine & running gear (only difference is the map, Mitsubishi dropped it to 147bhp for the CZ-T). I ran 250bhp through one for 2 years & 35k miles, OEM engine, box, clutch, everything was all fine. 100% reliable motor which took a hell a lot of abuse on a daily basis. A re-map sees them get 50+mpg easily too. 60's on motorways isn't unheard of either. Endless help on the CZTOC forum / facebook too
  12. Looks fantastic buddy! Hope you don't mind that I've copied you with Evo-R front splitter, side steps & rear diffuser btw - looks so much better than OEM it's 100% required, in my mind
  13. I get this a lot. To the point where I don't actually bother correcting people any more, just smile, nod & say thanks.
  14. Yeah it's a genuine Speed Hunters one buddy, I'm just not a fan of the tow strap / hook thing on newer cars like ours is all. I'm a big Speed Hunters follower myself, on their site regularly & have a few things from their shop too, couple posters and tee's There's me slagging off the Honda Kids, I've been considering a '96 DC2 as a third car / toy recently
  15. It's not actually fitted to the car Suits, literally just laid on to see how it looks. My Honda mates did it, they love it, Tegiwa tow hooks, Password JDM tow straps and such. The front of my car looks like - image taken from Japfest gallery:
  16. Yes it was! Did a go compare / market thingy & top 3 were Admiral, Elephant and thhe other I forgot who. Those quotes were on the admiral website. Just goes to show for the past 6 odd years I've been paying more than I should've been
  17. Just been messing about with a few online quotes this morning as I'm bored at work and insurance renewal is due in about a month. Keeping everything the same just changing 'Where is this car parked overnight?': Driveway (where it's actually parked overnight) = £672 Street = £670 Car park = £736 Railway car park & work car park = £720 Garage = £842 A few more things I then tried: - Just the OEM engine immobiliser was £2 cheaper than the immobiliser AND a tracker - Adding my mother on brought it down £165 - After the above, adding 2 further named drivers on (my mates, 25 & 26) had no effect on the quote. Moral of the story, insurance pricing makes no sense what so ever
  18. Joking aside. I've ran older Greddy stuff before (TD05's & TD06's) and the difference between them and modern components like newer GTX's, EFR's & Precision duel ball bearing CEA turbos (I run a 5858 now a 6266) is incredible. E.g. sharper on / off throttle response, earlier spool, less lag, stronger power band & better power delivery. I thought or hoped these would have been an option within this sort of kit is what I meant?
  19. Awesome! Will this be the first UK twin turbo 370z? Are they 18g? How come the turbos used in this kit are old school technology and not newer stuff, was there no option to upgrade?
  20. They have a great powerful sound to them that's for sure, your welcome to have a listen if you over Shropshire way buddy. They're not the cheapest or most common out there, I think there's just 2 of us on here with one, might be wrong though?
  21. I have this system, absolutely love it. There's some pics & stuff on my build up thread on here. Video after installation on my car here, although in person it sounds very different https://www.youtube....h?v=vm7cU9vNmuM
  22. I love it!! Now who I speak to for importing the front bumper, rear bumper & side skirts?
  23. Keen on what they've done with the front bumper, from the teaser pic it looks great imo.
  24. Small update My Evo is up at TRL having some work done (bigger turbo ) As the garage is vacant I squeezed the Zeds fat arse in there and did an oil & filter change. Very tight squeeze! New oil filter, sump washer, Datsun oil and a pair of new OEM air filters as my ones were very grubby – Thanks to H-Dev for these Also fitted some silver 'Z' badges from asad on here, easy to fit and look great imo, they match the door handles & rear '370Z' emblem nicely Ended up fitting these round my mates, which was a mistake... A Speedhunters tongue thing was placed on my car because it 'looks cool yo' (Honda speak) And then put the 2 OEM ones on my rear bumper for some strange reason... Moving on! I went to Japfest and on the drive back a friend got a couple snaps of my car cruising down the M5 which I think are pretty bad ass – think I'll need to update my signature with one of these! I had the Friday off work before Japfest & stayed at a friends place so my drive to Combe was 20 minutes instead of 3 hours. Friday afternoon we went over to Zealou5's workshop which is absolutely epic, fantastic cars in there I had a great time noseying about all their projects. One of which was this stunner - anyones on here? It was at Japfest the following day. Also, after spending 2 hours constantly driving at fairly high speed on motorways my exhaust got nice & hot, therefore a good bit louder too by the time I got back home, must admit, I rather liked it so am considering a pair of HFCs now
