  1. Love those wheels! Great choice! And that rear brace Suits posted is amazing, go on, buy that as well
  2. Just grabbed the manual, it just says they are 'automatic' - so I can't over ride them???
  3. Is there any way I can adjust them? I want to aim them up a bit, they're a bit low.
  4. The Zed has a mpg gauge thing... Where's that then?
  5. If it is my old car, could you let me know the issue number please? I'd order a back issue if possible. Like to keep a memo of stuff like that :-)
  6. Fair point, might just be different tastes. For the loud stuff I leave to my mates that bazz around in Hondas Thanks Not while I owned it. Local lad bought it off me back in 2009 who sold it not long after (everyone knew it as my car which he didn't like, it wasn't anything new to the local area as he's 5 miles down the road) After him a lad bought it to track apparently, not heard anything since. It's possible Htec Elite / Dynodaze have used my car for their adverts, or it's just been pictured at their events as it's over Leicster way last I heard. They're CZ-T tuning specialised and also run CZTOC (owners club) who I worked with when developing & testing parts new to the market. A build up thread from back in the day for anyone interested: http://www.evo123.net/showthread.php?t=10404
  7. Nothing wrong with that fella, they're great cars! It's pure luck I am where I am to be honest. All I do is coding, nothing special As awesome as that sounds my car will retain the stock cats. Loud cars for too long makes me appreciate a more subtle system. Do you use your 370 daily like that out of interest?
  8. My car is lowered on springs and the rubber splitters catch on a fair few things to be honest. Never hit the bumper itself on anything so far but do catch the rubbers a lot. But they work as they're designed to, bend & flex accordingly so no big deal. If I had a nice aftermarket splitter it would need replacing / repairing once a week at least
  9. Hi mate, sorry for delayed reply, been working loads on my other car. I've cheated and put a tie around the standard hanger, to extend it that extra 5mm which has done the trick & shut it up. Pushed the exhaust down and off the rear bars it was fouling on. Problem solved Got used to it nicely now, so glad I got if on my car, love it! Should have sounded like this from the factory IMO, it's how I hoped this car would've sounded after buying it. Next up in the pipeline is road tax, so nothing exciting lol. Probably just brakes to be honest, getting some squeeks at low speed which is a usual sign they need attention
  10. Cheers, that's most likely what will be needed here, after driving it a couple days it's really settled down, doesn't knock anywhere near as much straight after fitting / driving home! Awesome! Thanks man! Good luck with your search R34 GTR, drool.... My dream car, any pics or info on it? haha, it should be re-named, I dare click it any more!
  11. Anyone considered a Scangauge? http://www.scangauge...ts/scangaugeii/ Had one before, really handy things, only £100 I think. They can do a lot of handy stuff but I mainly used it to read out extra info not displayed in standard instruments, 4 at a time. And scan / clear codes when needed. After plugging the 370Z into my mates proper code reader there's over 130 read-outs from our ECU's, a lot of which would be picked up by the Scangauge 2 Edit: I know they're not wireless, but the device is pretty small and could be tucked pretty much anywhere into the cabin pretty easily, just 1 cable to route in.
  12. I'm bored at work mate, got all day to implement one thing that'll take me about 1 hour to do... Catching up with 4OD at the moment Christmas? As long away as that...
  13. lol, bad timing fella, you coulda ordered an Xbox anytime! I will admit, this exhaust did come with a slight compromise against a couple parts on my Evo though... Tut tut...
  14. One thing I will say is, take YouTube videos with a pinch of salt. I've watched loads & loads over the past few months. Fitted my exhaust yesterday, standing behind it while recording a video it sounded really good. Uploaded the video & it sounds weak in comparison, in person is the best way to choose by far. But I do understand of course that's easier said than done though.
  15. Lol, you must be mixing me up with someone else guys, I've not bought anything for my car... Oh wait, yes, you're right, an uber bad ass exhaust is now on it! Decided to click the sub-forum of death on here, otherwise known as 'for sale' and ended up buying an Akrapovic Exhaust! Knew about this exhaust for a while, it was top of my list, however couldn't justify blowing over £2k on an exhaust in my current situation. Anyway, spoke with Wayne, a great person to deal with, highly recommended seller. Everything as described & and sale went through as perfectly as you'd like. Zero complaints! Sunday morning it was delivered so after a fry up I brought it round & into the conservatory, obviously.. Gave it a quick clean up & had a look in person. We all know the exhaust is good quality, but I didn't actually realise just how good, neatest exhaust I've ever seen! There's Akrapovic symbols dotted about in really thoughtful places, welds are spot on, really was impressed with it. An hour later a mate came round, we put the exhaust in his car & drove up to his parents place where they have a very large garage with a pit. Standard exahust was already starting to go a bit rusty Good start, snapped a bolt on one side Then the other side too Rich working away, he did pretty much all of this for me to be honest, well I wasn't going to complain lol Full system removed New system going in And all done A very quick video for you, not the best quality by any means, it sounds soooooo much better in real life http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vm7cU9vNmuM First impressions are great, start up there's a nice burble, as the idle drops down to normal rpm you don't even know it's on there. Normal speed driving it's very subtle, how it should've come out the factory imo. Open it up, above 4,000 rpm and on down shifts it's absolutely immense! It's a really, really nice sound, I've never heard a V6 in person with better clarity than this, another great thing, you speed up to 80mph or so, hit cruise control and it's vertically silent, same as standard. Won't have any issues at all with long journeys which is a bonus. It could be louder yes, however that's not what I'm after, been in silly loud cars for 6 years, it's time to grow up & have a sensible and mature exhaust for once, being true dual this makes a proper sound! In terms of performance, can't actually notice any improvements to be honest, the pick up is slightly quicker though as it flows a lot easier. Not after any performance increases to be honest, it's quick enough for what I need. All in all, it's awesome & I love it! :yahoo: :yahoo: This SHOULD be the very last update in terms of mods now, it sits how I want & sounds how I want. Zed ownership is brilliant :D :D
  16. Removing the steering wheel made it much easier to get out the car Driftworks seat & harnesses, dished steering wheel on a 60mm extension, it got snug in there, and I'm fat!
  17. Had one on my Zeds predecessor, good for drifting with defo!
  18. It's worth doing, if you don't like the finished product remove & sell spacers no problem :-) Standard: After (Eibach Pro springs & 25mm spacersnall round)
  19. Now that's cool, I wanna try one!
  20. All of it seems to have been covered above, 1st > 2nd can be clonky to begin with but simple enough to get used to. Rest of the gears are nice though. I just wish the engine losses revs faster so I can shift faster!
  21. Cool, I'm not too keen the OEM seat, I feel I need more support when cornering hard. They're good but I'd upgrade if I could afford a set of Brides. Like these perhaps? Ultra JDM points!
  22. Bored at work so I linked him to this thread: Never know, he might drop the price to something more reasonable in a month or two
