Same set up as me! A darker shade of wheel has got me thinking now... What springs did you go for by the way? Below is Eibach Pro & 25mm spacers all round on my car, which seem to sit a tiny bit lower? Unless your pics were straight after installation & not settled yet?

I'm not great with wheel size & widths either, but this site could be useful maybe? Put in stock wheel info for a comparison. We all know around 25 more negative offset (equivalent to adding 4 25mm spacers) makes them sit flusher so try from there? http://www.willtheyfit.com

Good event, as always, nice to meet some of you too Note to self; get on a stand which has a good location! My Zed was right down the bottom field at the back, might as well have parked actually it in the sodding lake tbh. -

Chris Harris new video, F40 & F50 driven properly!

Yeah almost forgot about that, the constant slow mo side ways shots got really annoying! -
Not long been uploaded, 22 mins of your life well spent watching this. I like his videos, they're honest & genuine, watching his reactions when driving these just shows how amazing they must be drive. Enjoy!

Seen a silver 370 a few times on route to work & whatnot over past few weeks. We usually acknowledge each other, just wondering if he's on here?

Not really an update as such. Just been enjoying the car, done over 3,500 miles in it so far, not even had 2 months yet! Weekend just gone me & a friend went into Birmingham, trying out a new photo location & got a few pics which I thought be nice to share Few weekends back I travelled down south to visit family & attended my aunties 60th birthday, car was fantastic on the motorway. It eats the miles so easily we didn't even bother stopping half way, just left cruise control on 100mph and got there in no time. Love the looks it gets just driving around as well, it's such a head turner. While I was there I met up with a good friend for lunch over in Blue Water, he has a 650bhp Evo IX! After messing about with both cars, driving each others & driving about on the back roads I'm so glad I bought the 370 & made my Evo 100% track. Put it this way, I clearly demonstrated the difference between usable power & 'pub figures' when on the road Bit of a random one, but a friend of mine runs a small company who do custom made phone cases, clothes, stickers etc. He made me 2 personalised cases which are pretty cool! I'm getting a new bunch of hoodies & T-shirts made for us LR admins (Facebook group I run), custom embroidery & outlines of our cars sketched on back just for JAE 2013 in a couple weeks, should be good! A few of us went over to his place to design the hoodies in the week, Fast & Furious parking on his driveway! (The Ford is their house mates, Jim has a black EG6 behind the garage door so the Datsun was well out-numbered by Hondas here!) You might have spotted my other thread but got something wrong with the car at the moment, tested fluids, all lights & tire pressures but ABS / TC / ESP still come on when driving. Got a friend bringing round his code reader tomorrow after work to help me identify exactly what's wrong, I'll get it sorted asap though. And secondly the exhaust is staying stock for a good while yet. Yes it's boring I know... but I use the car every day, 10% of the time driving it properly & the other 90% cruising about, going places, commuting, doing the speed limit & behaving, an exhaust would ruin it in some respects for how I'm using it. Especially with winter coming up leaving it running in the morning, everyone in my street hates me enough as it is. Plus, I'm trying to enter my Evo into Time Attack next year so £1,250 gone on an exhaust could be much better spent elsewhere. I have been investigating a remap of some sort, not bothered about getting much more power out of it but the throttle is a tad annoying at times. Lift off completely before a corner & there's a small surge of momentum from the engine as the TB doesn't snap shut. You'll probably know what I mean but since having the springs & attacking corners more aggressively it's becoming more noticeable, similar reasoning as to the slow upshifts into 2nd & 3rd I suspect. Other than those couple niggles I'm loving Zed ownership, such a good car on so many levels, why didn't I buy one earlier in my life!? Yes I'm very bored at work today, hence this post lol

Driving back from Birmingham at the weekend (late, 2am ish) police were sat on a roundabout nothing better to do, I went past and they followed, blue lights on & pulled me over. 'we suspect this car is stolen do you have any proof if identification please?' After I gave them my licence & they checked me out on their computers to realise I do own the car and I was who I said I was they were sound. Had a quick laugh with them as they thought a young lad driving this sort of car early hours in the morning away from Brum was nicked - I can see why when I look back at it lol Anyway, got a good few compliments off them about how it looks, wheels, road presence etc and let me on my way

Warning lights (ABS / TC / ESP) came on randomly?
PS13Silvia replied to PS13Silvia's topic in 370z Technical
I walked into town at lunch & got a bottle of brake fluid, moved the car onto a flat level surface and it needed the smallest dribble known to man. Drove home watching the clocks like a hawk and all was fine, right up until I reversed onto my driveway when they lit back up again! I'm being boring & staying in tonight, so will wait till its darker & test the brake lights (tucked right up to the garage door on purpose for this) And a friend is bringing his OBD reader thing in case theres any codes, engine light never came on so I'm not sure it's thrown an error code at all. Bit more research needed for this one on my part... -

PS13Silvia replied to PS13Silvia's topic in 370z Technical
Just nipped out & checked, car is parked on a hill though (facing downwards because I reversed in) and it's just touching max, if it was on a flat would be slightly below the marker. I've got plenty of fluids at home so will top it up & see what happens. Best keep a close eye on this over the next few weeks. Are these cars really this sensitive? -
Warning lights (ABS / TC / ESP) came on randomly?
PS13Silvia replied to PS13Silvia's topic in 370z Technical
Thank you!! I'll check that ASAP. I'm used to older cars with no driver aids so pretty useless when it comes to things like this, saw the lights come on and I just sat there like a retarded monkey scratching my head -
Hi all, got in the car to come to work this morning, bit of a rush as I was running late. I got off my driveway & 20 yards down the road when I spotted all 3 lights were on. So I stopped, shut the car down & started again, all was fine, didn't think much more of it. However, when I got to work (only 10 miles away) we have to stop at the gate for the carpark passes, did that & pulled away to go & park when I noticed the 3 lights were back on again. Parked at the top as usual & tried pressing the ESP off button, which did nothing so my rev clock looked like this: Have I broken it? Anyone have any ideas what's going on please? Any help or advice appreciated, David,

I'll be doing mine soon, the car is 3 & half years old now & I'm not exactly easy on brakes. I hopped they'd last until next service (11 months away) but when a stone got stuck in the front guard I took the wheel off & had a look around while I was there, pads are getting low already. Changing the calipers or any other drastic changes to our brakes is a waste of time imo, decent pads & fluid will be fine for 90% of us. I'll be keeping an eye on them over the near future & replace fairly soon, this side of Christmas probably. CarboTech pads & better fluid at a minimum, depending what state the discs are in after inspection those as well. Doubt I'll fit braided lines though.

Very similar position to myself a couple months back, bought one and adore it. This will be staying with me for a good few years, ticks a lot of the boxes. Managed to get 430 miles to a tank sat at 100mph on the motorways last weekend, plus a good bit of London driving before coming back again. Not at all tiring, cruises spot on and switches into a great drivers car when you want it to, best of both worlds in other words. Have you driven one / been out in one yet? All you'll need is a short drive to confirm it's a great car and well worth handing over the notes!

Cheers dude I agree with you on the looks, lower front end does look great, but for daily driving & practicality it's not that great. A good shout with ARB's though, they'll defo make a difference

I've used EcuTek software on a previous project before, it gets the thumbs up from me After my car gets the exhaust done I'd happily give it a try, probably go down to Ant @ Indigo GT for it. I can see where Suits is coming from, especially on a car with very basic mods, HFC, maybe a CBE with an CAI, there not much over standard really and might not get any further mods afterwards, so a simple reflash would be a perfectly adequate solution over the EcuTek.

Huge delay here, sorry man. Spent all weekend working on my other car, but Sunday evening I gave the Zed a good wash & went out for a drive. As I got a new phone I wanted to test it's camera, answer is, it's not that great... But here's a side pic anyhow Now the springs have settled, alignment was set & I've put some miles on there's 1 thing they need doing. Raise the fronts up a little bit, just 5-10mm. Reason? It's a little too low, it's lower than the rears so looks a little off for starters, and I am catching the bottom of the rubber lip a few times on speed humps in town. Nothing major or anything, I'll take the front shocks back off again & add a small spacer to fix the issue, no biggie. But other than that, no complaints at all, handling has definitely changed for the better, however the lower springs have changed the camber / toe settings from factory which would would also effect this, combined with stiffer springs & lower COG, it all adds up

Quick question; Bluetooth on non fancy Connect Premium
PS13Silvia replied to PS13Silvia's topic in 370z General
Had another go the other day with this, couldn't get it working. l'll give in and dig out the manual after work tonight & see how it's done, but I went through every single related menu, no option there... Beginning to think it's not available on my sat nav to be honest -

Cheers. I got the phone synced up alright, rang a mate to test it out. Just trying to figure out how to get music playing via bluetooth. Thinking about it, it's probably something on my phone I need to change, I'm not great with phones at best of times and as it didn't work instantly first time I promptly gave up I'll give it another go after work before taking my usual, extended drive home on a Friday Plus I refuse to look in manual! lol
