HEL's are the same as the HKS then, as are these cheap ones. I'd love to know what's different about the Goodridge that can justify that price. Only difference I know of is the screw in that you mentioned, but seeing as HEL's are made to order, I'm sure they would put screw ins if someone was to ask nicely

If it's not more economical and doesn't hurt the engine, at least it makes me feel like i'm saving fuel on my very short commute to work I agree it's no fun, but with minimum throttle I find it easier to keep the speed steady than in a gear lower with more throttle. If i'm in the mood for some fun, 3rd it is, which equals 4th on average

Yes. I'd buy a branded brake line purely because of reputation...HEL are good, and popular and work and only about £60-£70. Don't skimp on brakes, ever, it's your life, or someone else's at hand Nicely put. HEL's do seem to be pretty popular and well priced. So what is the difference in hoses between the two? Cheers I'm guessing the wee HEL logo rings on the lines and the colour options being about all thats different. It's very true that you shouldn't go too budget with brakes, but surely any braided line is better than the OEM rubber? After all, whats the difference between HEL's at £70 and Goodrich at near double the price?

If I have to accelerate on past 40 to meet the speed limit i'd be changing into 5th about 40 unless i'm ragging it

I thought that 2, but the listing says it does fit and if you select the year as 03, it does. I'm guessing whoever listed it is a last os and so and didn't bother/know about selecting the other years.

I'd be pretty happy if it worked just like the iPod hack in having to use the iPod/iPhone to select playlists or tracks, especially since i'd be afraid of screwing the hack up if I were to attempt it and this is supposed to charge as well. Was thinking the same thing, maybe there's a port it fits at the back for the OEM sat nav/dvd player?

I tend to use 5th for driving 30-40 then 6th when I hit 40.

With 2nd hand Rays currently going for around half the price of a new set of 18" Rota's and weighing in at less, I still want a set too But only if I can save up bit of cash and buy springs and spacers to get fitted all at the same time, plus i'd probably have a bit of refurbing to do to the Ray's and I want to colour change them if I do get my hands on some. I'm wondering if that could be a Nurrish Sat Nav . Pete The sales rep has said that it is a sat nav - but as you have pointed out, the advert is a little light on accuracy. It could well be a childs book with a picture of a map on it or a little mirror that distracts whoever gets into it My first impression is that it is over priced and a little higher on milage than I would have liked - but has to be worth a look as its only an hour or so away. Having checked the service history, it seems to have missed anything resembling a P3 but has had a collection of 1's and 2's as well as an R1 (?) which I have assumed is just spidery writing. As is the salesman pitch - he has had it for a few weeks but had LOADS of interest - presumably from all the people that go to a Jag dealership to buy a Nissan The P2 and P3 services are the same, oil, oil filter and air filter, the P3 just has an extra check or two that are probably done during a P2 anyway. Most garages, including Nissan, tend to off a minor or major service as there really is only two types.

GT4's only came in black or yellow, but I think that you are mistaking the GT4 as being special in having the extra 20bhp. They were just the first version to get the revup engine, all facelift Zed's in 06 have the revup and a slightly upgraded interior and a few exterior bits, the 07 facelift is a new engine providing an additional 10bhp onto of the revup. So really any facelift model is what you are looking for, but I think they'll start at about £8k and are in the higher tax bracket. For £6k you should be able to get a reasonable non GT '03/04 Zed with decent mileage (under 60k), but you're looking closer to £7k for a similar condition GT. If you don't mind an import, you should be able to pick up an '03/04 for under £6k pretty easily depending on the spec. Good look hunting

If your 20 mile e/w commute is 95% dual carriageway you should be getting about the same fuel mileage as you are currently in the VXR, but I suspect you may have a pretty heavy foot which is why you're only getting 27.9 in the Corsa. I live 1.3 miles from my work and unless it's the weekend and good weather, the furthest i'd usually be driving is about 5 miles to/from the girlfriends house and I average about 22-25mpg, had her at just under 30mpg on the last long run. So it probably will cost you a bit more in fuel, as it should being a car weighing quite a bit more and an engine capable of eating your 1600, but it's ooohhhh so worth the few pennies every mile

Looks good and clean and also appears to have the cubby mod, could be an Android tablet or something which would be a great added bonus. £8k is a bit expensive though, bought my Kuro with similar mileage for £6,500, although mine is an '04.

Hey Cap, I've sent you a message since Sarah kindly let me know on Facebook that you were looking for me. As mentioned above I assumed the address would have been on the Paypal invoice and I left a note on the payment indicating so :headhunt: I'm curious as to which method you used to contact me because I check emails 2-3 times a day and spend quite a bit of time on here and have received no messages since making the payment. Just whilst writing this I have an idea why there was no address on the invoice and that's due to the whole Paypal 3% or no 3% charge if you know what I mean Anyway, hopefully it's all sorted now if you have received my PM with address and thanks again to Sarah for giving me the heads up
