  1. The K Sports are a 30mm drop, rear looks a little lower than that though, but there's no rubbing as of yet and I've had them on about 5 days including going over speed bumps.
  2. The K Sports are a 30mm drop, rear looks a little lower than that though...
  3. That's a joke! Even baring in mind Nissan will probably charge about £100 for the bulbs it's still rediculous money for fitting!
  4. Front and rear Black Diamond 6 slotted, available from CS ^^^
  5. I applied about 3 or 4 coats trying to get rid of the orange peel, but I just couldn't shift it using rattle cans, so I sanded it all as flat as I could and used polish to get the shine, so I honestly couldn't tell you if there's any lacquer left or not
  6. First of all an update to Stage 5. I gave up waiting to get someone to fit the springs so bought a set of spring compressors (which it turns out you don't need) and set about doing the rears as they're the easiest. Literally only took about 45 minutes to do them. The fronts were more complicated as expected, even following the various guides because some of the nuts are hard to access, i.e. the upper control arm where the nuts are each side of the spring and there wasn't enough clearance to get a ratchet or breaker bar in. All in all it took me 3 days 2 of those days the car was sitting doing nothing because I fooked up the thread on the N/S/F drop link and nut and took a couple of days trying to find someone to repair it. Turns out metric fine tap and die sets are rarer than hens teeth and the best course of action was to get the grinder out and chop off the last couple mm of thread and find a new nut, which also turns out to be impossible to buy, so luckily found one on the floor of a mechanics Anyway, pictures The rear is very low, like... very low Like, too low Can't even get my pinky in there, so i'm gonna have to get the arches rolled and some camber arms for the rear, hopefully the front will be ok, but we will see once I get the geo set up checked Then after a few months of searching, a screw up from Nissan UK and help from Alex to rectify their mess... Stage 6!!! Had to change those boring old looking pre facelift headlights for these beauties! Started by removing the bumper by stripping half a dozen old crappy bolts Starting to get at those rusty bolts under the arch. They're a real PITA because they're attached to plastic and it's a bit tedious putting pressure on them. I actually cracked one of the mounts a tiny bit Both old fugly lamps out And new facelifts in Bumper back on, job complete! Couple of pictures, just for Night one... Gave the door control panels a bit of a refurb too, got some Ford Panther Black from Halfords which has a nice mild multi coloured flake, but unfortunately can't see it very well in the pictures... Passenger Driver Thats it all for now, this month I have to service and MoT then maybe talk to a body shop about fixing a few patches here and there.
  7. Lowering that much will throw the camber and possibly toe out, so you'll also need camber arms for the rear, possibly the front too. I dropped mine last week and it looks like I have joe brand in the boot
  8. Having just put orange vinyl lip on my bronze 19" Rota's they certainly make the wheels look smaller, they look like 18's. Also I think with a lip it needs to contrast as much as possible from the wheel colour, dark wheels to bright rim, whereas GM is a slightly lighter colour and blue isn't the brightest.
  9. More importantly, anyone know if its safe to use metal polish on the titanium tips? Don't want to rub the blue finish off...
  10. Not sure exactly what you mean by the flat spot, as in, how flat? It's pretty wet and cold, could have been the traction control sticking its nose in?
  11. Stuff it 1) Buster - Black 2) Aus10 - Gold 3) Marzman - Blue 4) Paddy78 - Blue 5) Evilscorp - Black 6) Plummerman - Blue 7) Stanzed - Black 8) smudgeon - Purple 9) kiingsi - gold 10) (maybe) CrumbMC red (closest to Ferrari style red as possible) 11) KyleR - Orange 12) 13) 14) 15)
  12. With the Nismo system there is no cheap, I believe Redline and Tarmac can supply them
  13. In my experience, which may be more limited than most here, paper cones last in cars, other poly based cones tend to break or crack easier, but it would have been nice to have a slightly better system.
  14. Should be able to get small quantities from here http://www.electrostaticmagic.co.uk/pages/powders They do half kg and 5kg
  15. Ah that's what I figured. We thinking of doing similar when/if I change the Bose
  16. I have the 6 groove version with black diamond pads, a few other members do too. All reports are good, but I don't do track days so no experience of that...
  17. Black Diamond are pretty good, sent CS a pm for pricing
  18. I may be wrong, but don't our resident tuners suggest that the stock box with a drop in shows more gains than both CAI or short ram? That would go against what that link is saying.
  19. Buying a PC is like being a nympho and not using condoms!
  20. I have 3 in mine :/ two in the center console and one where the glovebox sits in other cars. I have a USDM though so it may differ from the UK Zed. Sent from my iPad using Tapatalk HD You have the wee fitting that goes into where the Bluetooth dongle thing is? So I assume you don't have Bluetooth hands free then?
  21. Stuff it, I'm moving to the south coast! I'd love my plenum powder coated in orange or chrome but too much hassle having to park the car up for a week while I ship over...
  22. I use a Macbok Pro, its no different from using a PC Either set up a photobucket account and do it that way or click "More Reply Option" at the bottom right and in the next screen there will be a place to upload photos directly
  23. That looks awesome with the casting dimples, possibly better than it would if it was smooth. I want one
