  1. Gunmetal is just dirty silver Shoulda bought a black one and done it right
  2. TCS would be fine, but speedo will be 4-5% out.
  3. Mileage might be ok, it depends on when it was imported as I'm sure quite a bit of those "miles" are actually kilometres. But apart from that, 04 base in boring silver and 17" rims. Price is probably about right if the service history is there and a little wiggle room for negotiation.
  4. There are a lot of cars he doesn't like, it's just personal opinion. The hamster and vicky butler Henderson love it.

    Z tyre widths

Lowering is the only way to get rid of the dreaded arch gap. But seeing as you took the springs out, you're kinda stuffed unless you put them back in.

  7. Same problem, just don't try to do 400 miles on a tank and you'll be fine. Reset the trip and mpg computers each time you fill up and calculate it from that if you need to know how much is in there. Personally I just run about 30-40 miles on the light and then stick about 70 litres in it.
  8. It's always on as default unless you manually turn it off. So from a safety POV it's fine. Fuse?
  9. Oh wait, it's Friday, you'll get on Tuesday, possibly Monday if they're feeling nice
  10. Usually 2 days max from order.
  11. I've seen carbon dipped wheels in the flesh, they look awful.
  12. haha, true though! His was white, but then he sold it and bought a track edition, not sure what colour.
  13. Well that depends who was main driver collecting NCB on her car. Even if it was you, she can still use the NCB she had before joining your policy, it lasts 2 years before its invalid.

    Exhaust nuts

I'm guessing they'll be M12 possibly with a fine thread because Nissan seem to like making it hard to just replace a nut, instead we have to get robbed by a dealer or spend a week searching for one.
  15. But do both cars have the same policy number? I'm betting they do. I had 2 policy's with the same number with them too, one to use with each car, but both with the same number, still meaning it can only be used on one new policy.

    Audi A1

Mini is the same, when you add everything you want onto your £14k cooper it becomes £20k.
  17. It's a plastic skirt, scrap it and buy a second hand one or pair for under £100
  18. If the car is lowered it's more likely to wear on the inside. Infact all Zeds will as they are produced with a degree of camber on the rear. If the outside is near the limit and the inside on it then there's probably nothing wrong. It just sounds like he got a grumpy mot guy to me.
  19. IMO it depends how much damage. If it was just a rear ender, then surely a new bumper, crash beam, lights and possibly straighten the rear 1/4's and boot would fix it. Far far from £7000. I'd get a list of what needs done because for £6k you could fix it, put a set of 19's, full bodykit, respray, exhaust and still have change left over for an UpRev and other NA mods.
  20. Same issue Hooch. If you rev match when changing gear it won't happen.
  21. I think it looks a lot better like that. Most cf places moulding real parts try and achieve this as it gives better finish And it looks better than if it's a few degrees out.
  22. I'm considering it for the wifes Roadster - she needs to get the shopping in Tesco delivers for a 5er! It'd probably cost more than that on fuel, and many many more £'s on bargain/snap buys because "they were on promotion"! Everyone wins
  23. Generally you'll only be able to pull it back to about 2deg without elongating the hole or your toe will be out. I didn't bother chopping mine either but I'm running quite low with about 2.5 camber and 0.8 toe/0.4 each side. If you chop the hole you'll get we'll within specs Each car is different though, so like mine, yours may not come into spec if lowered 30 something mm, or it might be fine without cutting the holes.
