  1. I'm gonna take a stab and say £7k-£8k with a tune. ouch!
  2. Hmmm, it's been done and from what I heard isn't that hard. Maybe give Keyser a PM to see if he can help you out?
  3. I can help with the older style if you wish to go that route.
  4. This is my point. Surely you would get her running with such low miles and the S/C and sell it for decent money.
  5. I know they're not quite as good as a Vortech V3, but you can still get about 350+ with a good map and proper supporting mods. for the money it's incredible. Unfortunately the cowl looks bloody awful I'd rather buy an HR hood and beat it out with a mallet
  6. That's about £1700 shipped, and about £100 customs. Cheap as! How big a bonnet bulge do I need for this?
  7. What would cause it to corrode if its made from the same metals as the branded pipes? Because it probably won't be made from the same metals. If this was 20% or so cheaper than Cobra etc, then I think the quality might be up there, just saving on labour by making them in Asia, but at less than half the price, something smells dodgy. I've heard of companies selling S/S and aluminium as whatever grade, only for people to find out that they are infact a much inferior metal.
  8. At half the price of any other branded Y pipe, I'd say they won't last very long corrosion wise.

  10. The mans a leg end!
  11. I may be wrong but I think there may be wiring under the carpet for the power, so hopefully be just a case of clipping them in. As for the rest it's just 4 bolts and you're done
  12. I'll certainly take it mate, I'm just in work ATM so can't sort any thing right now. Need to find out what fittings exactly I need too
  13. Hey Ian, interested in the bolts and power steering reservoir. I take it the fixings are AN12 and the Zed needs AN10? How much would the adaptors be? Edit: just had a look on the Mishimoto site and seen they're 10mm ID fittings, so what kind of adaptor would I need?
  14. Looks like you came off very lucky mate, should maybe even polish out form the looks of it. Thankfully there doesn't look to be any dent
  15. Check out Mishimoto, they have uprated ones for the zed at very reasonable prices
  16. What a shitter! Apart from it all being sorted out insurance wise, quickly, yours looks a simple repair. I don't think there is any material behind your front impact area and with the bumper being made from polyurethane, it'll most likely pop out perfectly once you give it a little shunt from the back. Will probably need a respray, though, but I can't see if there are any cracks in the paint. Rear looks worse and will probably need a new bumper, surely only a few hundred quid which the Vauxhalls insurance will be buying.
  17. Yup, no super in the ROI and only up to 97 available in the North, however, you have a HR Zed, so the engine can detect knock all the way through the rev range and 95 will almost certainly be perfectly fine house while you're over here.
  18. Got it sorted by butchering them with pliers Thanks everyone
  19. Right, so they can be bought, but what about if you don't have any? Any ideas how to remove?
  20. Right, I need to remove the MAF, easy enough, right? It's only held in with 2 screws, torx screws, but still screws, it's ok, I have torx bits. But ah ha, I'm wrong, they're not torx screws, they're exactly the same but have a pin in the middle, so your torx bits would need to be hollow! What the hell?! So how do people get these screws out? Assuming these weird hollow torx bits are almost none existent in the retail world...
  21. As per other replies But just for future situations, "Forum help" sub forum is for help with the forum itself, so you'll certainly get more traffic seeing your thread if you were too post it in the 350z section itself, perhaps under "technical"
