For those of you that saw my last post about my boyfriends 350 just coming to a rolling stop, we've had it looked at and stripped down from bottom end.... Turns out a piston has pretty much shattered into the sump and the valve was wedged in the crank, hence not being able to crank by hand! So now were after a new engine please?! '53 model, obviously in working order! Or anyone know where we can get one at a decent price?! Please and thanks!

Nope, as I've said it drove fine no knocks no bangs nothing, that's why we're so stummed by it!

Thanks for all your help, we've managed to get in touch with someone in the area that'll be able to have a look! If it is a possible engine seizure what could of caused this, any ideas as there is plenty of water/oil in the engine etc and was fine driving the night before? Thanks again

The battery is fine, ignition all comes on, battery was replaced about 3 weeks ago, all connected fine, goes up to 12 as usual, but has reset everything as if it has earthed itself out, will try and get hold of a fuel pump ASAP! Typical to happen now as we're due a baby in 20 days! Hopefully the fuel pump will sort it when we are able to get hold of one! Really appreciate all the help! Thanks again guys!

Thank you! We've tried turning over by hand but it won't start by hand either! We'll try the fuel pump when we can get one, probably Monday now! So frustrating!

WE NEED HELP! My boyfriends 350z was and has been fine for ages, we were out last night, all fine. He went out today got around about 3 corners, the car made a noise and came to a rolling stop! It now won't even turn over just makes a click noise, had to be towed home! The code P1283 is now coming up and were at a dead end?! Can someone help or point us in the right direction?! Hoping it's fixable as we're due a baby in 20 days!! Help please!!!! Were in the northwest, Chester/North Wales area! Thanks in Advance! X

So, we've done a throttle retest, and it's now improved a lot but the car is still only running on 5 cyclinders, any more ideas we can try before we book into powerhouse on Tuesday please? Thanks again

To be honest, I don't think he knows what the hell he's done! Booking it in to The Powerhouse in Sandycroft on Tuesday, so holding out hope David can sort it! Thanks for all the help!

As other have said. Alex knows more than most people on these cars and 10 out of 10 times he's correct. Have u adjusted the throttle body in any way when changing parts? This can cause issues also but not similar to what your saying. It's worth doing a throttle body reset procedure. It can be found in the guide section of the forum The only part of the engine that has been touched is the inlet plenum manifold, we've had a mechanic working on it but he's now run out of ideas, I appreciate all the help you guys are giving we'll try some more tomorrow! But everything mentioned about the coils etc we've tried and it's still just got not power when driving just feels sluggish and @*!# and still showing the code PO300 on diagnostics
