  2. Thanks for the comments. I couldn't resist with the title, glad it's not my actual car!
  3. I don't even think Alex will have anything to sort this! Much thanks to my wonderful girlfriend who spent so many hours making it. And one before it was wrecked... Considering this is the first cake she has ever made, I think she's done a fantastic job! Tastes great too.
  4. Nice job , I'd love to try this, but fear it would be nowhere near as good... plus I'd end up ruining the ridiculously expensive facelift clear reflectors!
  5. Thanks everyone and Happy Birthday Will!
  6. Cheers TMD, your engine bay looks epic!
  7. I wondered what the hell you were all on about... then I scrolled down the View New Content page! Busy afternoon Sam?
  8. Buy a cheap Android iPhone 5 clone from Amazon for £115 and get a cheap giffgaff tariff, then laugh all the way to the bank... I do!
  9. Where did you get your ground wire from and is it 2 gauge or 4 gauge?

Any super will be fine with no noticible difference.
  11. Will do Ian, these are claimed to be good up to 15bar and 120C. That should be OK shouldn't it?
  12. I have now ordered my hose and clips, so as promised here are the links: 1m of 10mm Stainless Steel Braided Hosed (£10.95 delivered): http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/290674700108?var=590056179193&ssPageName=STRK:MEWNX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1497.l2649 4 x Hose Finishers - 17mm (£16.91 delivered): http://stores.ebay.co.uk/Torques-U-K/AN-8-15mm-and-17-mm-/_i.html?_fsub=1060568012&_sid=81447352&_trksid=p4634.c0.m322 Total cost: £27.86 I'll post some pics when I've fitted. If the quality is OK, then I'm seriously considering doing my coolant hoses too!
  13. Looks like a tidy little motor and totally unmolested, so probably sound mechanically! Much, much envy! I soooooo need a garage for things like this!
  14. That's awful... the whole car I mean, not just the roof spoiler... Definitely no for the vortex generators, unless you have a track car and it actually provides some kind of aero (Not the chocolate kind).
  15. ~500 mile round trip for me in just under 2 weeks! Looking forward to every mile, especially the trip back!
  16. Will do, I'm out with only my phone at the mo, but will sort linkage later!
  17. Not done it yet, but will post details in the next week or so. I think you could do a small catch can with braided hose and those ends for under £30, which I don't think is too bad and should look nicer than some plain back rubber.
  18. He obviously had different makes of tyre on each wheel! Epic fail!
  19. Obviously I'm not talking about the outer part which comes into contact with the pads, but rather the inner part / hub. My discs have started to look pretty nasty and have surface rust after a hard salty winter. Can I paint the inner part safely to tidy them up a bit and protect them from further corrosion? I assume that the paint would need to be capable of handling very high temps, would something like black manifold paint be OK to use? Has anyone tried this before?
  20. I've just ordered one from eBay with 10mm fittings. How much hose will I need for each side? Also, if you like the look of the braided hoses, but can't justify the price for Earls, is there anything stopping you from using some braided hose like this: with some coloured jubilee clips like this: Obviously, the quality will not be the same as Earls, but as long as the hose has the correct temp and pressure ratings, is there anything technically preventing using these for the coolant hoses etc. too?
